Hotels in Madian Area, Beijing

After staying at Huazhu hotels for so many years, this time I had some bad luck. The TV screen mirroring in my room was broken, and even after reporting it to the front desk, it wasn't fixed. Then, there was a power outage on Saturday morning. They said it would be about ten minutes, but it wasn't fixed even after half an hour, and the elevator was stuck. For an Orange Crystal hotel, paying 500-600 RMB is really expensive; it's just not good value for money anymore.

Pros: Decent sized room and bed, with plenty of space for luggage. Good shower and bathroom. Modern and clean. Nice shared lounge area and public spaces around the hotel too. Great location near the metro. Cons: Sound proofing could be improved. Bathroom had a glass wall and door, which the privacy curtains didn't cover - fine for me as a solo traveller, but if you're travelling with others it would be very awkward as you can see literally everything. Also, although I specifically booked a room with a laundry machine, there was no laundry detergent so I had to hand wash my clothes anyway. Similarly, a kettle was provided but no tea etc - these small things are usually provided in other hotels.

Staying at the Manxin Hotel Beijing Anzhen was a fantastic experience from start to finish! The hotel's decor is elegant and stylish, and the lobby's mini-bar has a wonderful ambiance, perfect for snapping some great photos. It's just a few minutes' walk to Anzhen subway station, making it incredibly convenient to get to attractions like the Bird's Nest and Shichahai. My room was spacious and bright, with panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows offering excellent natural light. The smart room control system was a nice touch, and the bedding was soft with great soundproofing, ensuring a peaceful night's sleep. The cleanliness was impeccable, and the toiletries were high-quality. The breakfast offered a great mix of Chinese and Western options, including traditional Old Beijing snacks and a live noodle station. The front desk staff were warm and attentive. They also have a gym and a self-service laundry room, making it suitable for both leisure and business travelers. The value for money is outstanding – I'll definitely choose to stay here again on my next trip to Beijing!

The room was clean and tidy, and the service was exceptionally attentive. They even proactively called me when I forgot something and packed it nicely in a bag. Overall, I had a good experience; it's a very economical and practical choice for travel.

The lobby has a nice ambiance. Although some of the in-room facilities are a bit old, which is understandable given the hotel's age, it doesn't detract from the quality and overall experience. I think the hairdryer and fridge could use an update, they're showing their age. However, the stay itself was very comfortable; it's quite soundproof, and the room door is thick and heavy. My only minor gripe is that the door can't be propped open because there's no magnet on the wall behind it. The hotel breakfast deserves a special mention – it was delicious and very abundant! They offer eggs cooked in various ways, including omelets, fried eggs (both sides or one), and poached eggs. The front desk staff kindly gave us a complimentary welcome fruit platter, which we really appreciated. I'll definitely choose Sheraton again for my next trip.

First off, the location is absolutely fantastic. It's really close to both bus and subway stations. Breakfast is included, which is great, and it's clean, hygienic, and tastes good. There's a small supermarket and convenience store nearby, but the real bonus is being right next to Youth Lake – the scenery is just beautiful. The hotel front desk staff are warm and welcoming; they're genuinely lovely people. I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing. Highly, highly recommend!

We stayed here for a concert with our child, and the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic. It's an easy walk to Hepingli Beijie Station on Metro Line 5, and the Olympic Stadium (Bird's Nest) is only about a 20-minute drive away, which was super convenient. Plus, it's really close to attractions like Yonghe Temple and Ditan Park. We booked a king room, and it was spotless, with a simple yet modern design. The bedding was soft and comfortable, so we slept really well. The bathroom had a great shower with good water pressure and instant hot water. The front desk staff were warm, friendly, and efficient. All in all, it's great value for money. We'll definitely choose this hotel again next time we're in Beijing!

The staff are patient and polite, diligently answering any questions with a warm and attentive service. The room layout is well-designed, and the facilities are brand new and complete. It's perfectly suited for couples or friends traveling together. I'm very satisfied and wholeheartedly recommend it.

This hotel is in a good location, not far from the subway station, and there are plenty of places nearby for breakfast. It's right next to Yuhuatai, and there's also a park. There's even a gym in the building (for a fee). Overall, it's pretty good, and the rooms are quite spacious. They don't have robots delivering food, so you have to go downstairs to pick up your takeout.

This hotel is absolutely perfect for business travelers! Getting a taxi is incredibly convenient. The desk and chair in the room are very comfortable, and the internet speed is super fast—video conferences run smoothly without any lag. The front desk handles check-in and check-out extremely quickly, and they even offer free printing and photocopying services. It's also very quiet at night, allowing for a good rest so you can be energized for work the next day.
