Our butler, Brian, was incredibly welcoming and resolved issues promptly. The room was very spacious, clean, and tidy, and even had a bathtub for soaking. The balcony offered beautiful views. The hot spring facility, Tangquan Palace, had many clean and hygienic pools, including a children's splash area. It's also very close to Wanda Plaza, making dining and entertainment incredibly convenient. Plus, parking is free!
Service: The front desk lady was very helpful, and the other staff members were also excellent, very friendly and proactive in offering assistance.
Hygiene: Clean and comfortable.
This was a very satisfying hotel experience in Beijing. The facilities are a bit older, but that's understandable. The service was even better than at the Marriott in Shenzhen.

Environment: The air conditioning's heating was problematic. After skiing, I got back around 9 PM and turned the AC to the highest setting, but it stayed at 19.5 degrees Celsius for a long time. The hallway and lobby were warmer than my room. I called the front desk, and they sent a faulty electric heater. A technician then came to replace it, and by the time everything was sorted, it was past 11 PM. The breakfast was also just mediocre.
Service: I asked the front desk for two garbage bags. The staff member said they had them but kept serving other guests and didn't ask a colleague to help me. I stood there waiting for five or six minutes, but no one brought them. In the end, I had to ask a cleaning lady myself. The uncle at the entrance who greets guests was very nice; he always helped with luggage when getting in and out of the car.
Facilities: There were only two bottles of Bing Lu (water) in the room.
