Kunming Hotels with Breakfast

Overall, my stay was excellent. The room was very satisfying, spacious, and extremely comfortable, with complete amenities. The hotel is newly opened and provides disposable toilet seat covers and bathrobes, which other hotels don't usually offer – it's a great touch. I will definitely recommend it to family and friends in the future, it's superb! There are also many attractions and local snacks nearby, all easily accessible by taxi and not far away. It's also very close to Kunming Station, within walking distance. Highly recommended! 😃

This time I stayed here after being at the convention center branch, and the difference is truly stark. While the Wanda Xishan store has good hardware, the soft services and management approach are frankly incomprehensible. There was construction going on downstairs, and they started working before 8 AM, making so much noise that it was impossible to rest. The front desk kept emphasizing that they had given us a free room upgrade during check-in. But what's the point of such an 'upgrade' if the upgraded room is still incredibly noisy? If there were quiet rooms facing other directions, even if it meant paying a difference, the front desk should have proactively explained and offered options, instead of using a supposed 'upgrade' to gloss over the core accommodation experience. The concierge service was also completely unnoticeable, a far cry from the convention center branch where the concierge recognized my room at a glance and proactively resolved issues with attention to detail. The soft services at the Wanda store are truly disappointing; the experience was extremely poor.

The bed was too soft, and the TV was overly complicated. When I called the front desk at night about an issue, they said they'd contact engineering but never followed up. A simple 'engineering is off duty' or something similar would have been helpful. The hairdryer is quite old and could use an upgrade. On the positive side, the room was spacious, and the shower had excellent water pressure – that's a plus! So, a mix of good and bad. In such a competitive market, I think attention to detail is crucial. At 500-600 yuan, this hotel is considered upper-mid-range in Kunming, especially being near the airport, though its location isn't convenient for anything else.

The room was clean and well-arranged, and the staff were very friendly and proactive in helping with luggage. The hotel is located in a bustling area, right above a food street (the braised chicken across the street was delicious, and there's also a BA nearby). I was a bit worried the hotel might be smoky, but there was no strange smell in the lobby at all, which was great. Jasper provided excellent service, and I would definitely recommend it to friends.

✈️ Found a hidden gem hotel during my layover at Kunming Changshui Airport: Manju Hotel🏨 I originally booked a superior king room✨, but to my surprise, the front desk gave me a free upgrade to a deluxe king room upon arrival. The large floor-to-ceiling window was a delightful surprise. Outside, there was a vast lawn campsite, and in the distance, continuous mountain ranges. Watching the clouds in the sky at sunset created an incredible ambiance 🌄. The room was spacious, with a simple yet high-end decor, clean, and brand new. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the overall environment was very quiet. After a long journey, I could finally get some good rest. The hotel is located near Changshui Airport, making it perfect for early morning flights, late arrivals, or overnight layovers. The service was attentive and exceeded my expectations. If you're transiting through Kunming, you can confidently choose this hotel ✅.

This time, I chose the Holiday Inn Express at the airport for my layover. The location is super convenient, directly inside the airport and within walking distance. The facilities are also very complete. Even though I didn't get my luggage until around 2 AM, the service was still very warm and friendly. Highly recommended!

Booked a queen room, but upon arrival, they said it was an 'event room,' which was small and located at the very edge. The first person quoted 49 for an upgrade, then someone else said 20-something, and we ended up paying 20-something extra just to get a proper room! I've stayed at so many Hanting hotels across the country, and this is the first time I've been asked for extra money right off the bat! And the price even changed! What a scam! If my client wasn't so close, I definitely wouldn't have stayed for two nights! Oh, and on the second night, they still tried to charge more!

After reading some negative reviews, I decided to give this place a try, as I felt I could completely accept the downsides. And it turned out to be really great because I met some wonderful people! Terry was like a resident assistant and a tour guide rolled into one – reminding me to blow-dry my hair, taking me to delicious places to eat and fun spots to visit, and recommending amazing food. They were truly exceptional! The women I met there were also incredibly awesome, and I'll definitely be keeping in touch with them!

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!

This hotel is excellent! I originally came to Panlong for business and just randomly booked a hotel since I knew I'd be switching. To my surprise, I found it so comfortable after checking in that I decided to extend my stay – and ended up staying for four nights! A special thanks to the lovely front desk lady with the round face. On the first night, my family of three stayed in a king-size room, and she gave us a room with a three-meter-wide bed. The next day, I mentioned the room felt a bit small, and she graciously upgraded us to a twin room, really accommodating my needs. Her service was top-notch! The hotel is clean, hygienic, and all the facilities are complete, new, and in great condition. The bed was comfortable, and the price was fantastic – very budget-friendly! Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely consider this hotel first. There's parking available, and it's easy to catch a taxi. Plus, the Ruiding City Shopping Center is just next door, which is incredibly convenient! Highly recommend! This is genuinely the first time I've written such a long review just because of a hotel stay! I didn't take any photos, but it looks exactly like the pictures!!
