Kunming Hotels with Breakfast

I spent a long time choosing a hotel on Ctrip and saw that this one had the highest rating. I booked two nights, just to give it a try, and indeed, the high rating is well-deserved. You can walk to the hotel from the train station. As soon as I entered, the front desk lady was incredibly welcoming and even helped with my luggage to the room. I had some truffles that needed refrigeration, and as soon as I asked, a lady immediately came to help take them down to the fridge. The service was excellent, so I promptly extended my stay for another two nights. The staff in the breakfast restaurant were also very enthusiastic, and the breakfast was quite good – very impressed! When my friend came to pick me up, parking was also very convenient as there's a dedicated parking lot 🅿️. Next time I go to Kunming, I'll definitely stay at this hotel again.

Coming to Kunming Paperman, I realized just how competitive hotel service can be! Let's start with the human touch: 1. They set up a WeChat group for butler service; upon arrival, the butler met me downstairs. 2. A beautiful welcome flower basket. 3. Whether I was out or in the evening, they'd let me pre-select afternoon tea snacks and deliver them to my room. 4. When I accidentally scraped my foot outside, they quickly provided iodine swabs and Yunnan Baiyao adhesive bandages. 5. I unknowingly left my bracelet in the restaurant in the morning; when I reported it at 10 PM, the butler team returned it to my room in 13 minutes – incredibly efficient and well-organized. 6. They proactively offered daily linen and duvet cover changes. 7. Every time I passed the front desk or saw hotel staff, they were always smiling and greeted me warmly. 8. Breakfast was available until 1 PM, plus afternoon tea and late-night snacks, truly allowing for sleep flexibility and no worries about food. Now for the hardware and details: 1. Full set of caviar toiletries – excellent to use. 2. The vanity came equipped with cotton facial towels, mouthwash, earplugs, etc. 3. Dyson hairdryer; after washing my hair with caviar shampoo, it was so smooth I didn't even need a comb. 4. Truly blackout electric curtains. 5. The latex memory foam pillow was genuinely comfortable. 6. Both the overhead rain shower and wall-mounted shower could be selected to run simultaneously with a button; the temperature was stable and water flow abundant, making showering a real pleasure. 7. The rooftop infinity pool is great for photos, and the design and decor of the restaurant and floors are thoughtfully done... There's so much more I could write; it's got everything a star-rated hotel room service should have. The only flaw was an uncontrollable power outage in the evening, leading to the elevators being out of service for several tens of minutes? But all things considered, that's completely insignificant. I love this level of competitive hotel service, and I'll definitely choose Paperman again next time I'm in Kunming!

Five stars to the DoubleTree by Hilton Kunming Airport! From the lobby environment and room cleanliness to the breakfast and airport shuttle service, everything met a high standard, making for a very comfortable stay. I especially want to commend Cai Cai. I was quite tired upon arrival, but Cai Cai was incredibly patient, efficiently handled my check-in, thoroughly explained all hotel services, and even offered thoughtful advice regarding my flight schedule. Any questions I had were answered promptly and properly, truly demonstrating exceptional service. The hotel maintains excellent quality control, and with such outstanding staff service, it has become my go-to choice for layovers in Kunming. I highly recommend it to anyone traveling through Changshui Airport.

This newly opened downtown hotel, built in 2025, is a gem! It's just a 3-minute walk to Kunming Old Street, Shuncheng, and Jinma Biji Archway. Plus, there are tons of amazing food options nearby, making it the perfect base for any food-loving adventurer. The entire room features smart controls, and the bedding is incredibly comfortable. While the hairdryer isn't a Dyson, the Laifen is still excellent. We even received complimentary welcome fruit upon arrival, and the minibar is entirely free. The concierge was proactive in helping with our luggage, and the views from our 28th-floor room, overlooking the city lights at night, were stunning. The 24-hour gym is a huge plus, allowing me to work out whenever I wanted – a truly thoughtful amenity. Many star-rated hotels are still stuck with traditional satellite TV, so it was a delight to find that this one offers screen mirroring that works seamlessly. The smart entertainment system is a standout feature, and I give it a big thumbs up! (*≧∪≦)👍🏻 Now, let's talk about breakfast: The selection of Chinese and Western dishes is extensive, including many authentic Yunnan specialties. The rare pea flour, kumiss, five-color glutinous rice, and flower cakes were all outstanding and delicious. My only regret is not getting to try the Eggs Benedict – a slight disappointment. The restaurant service was exceptional. The staff were friendly and attentive, proactively guiding us to our table. They even offered coffee to go, cleared plates promptly, and provided warm and thorough service throughout. This truly enhanced my experience. Justin Liu deserves a special mention for his proactive enthusiasm and prompt responses. Five stars!

I booked this hotel because I had an early morning flight. They offer an airport shuttle service every 30 minutes, which is super convenient. The front desk staff was amazing! Even though my room didn't include breakfast, they gave me a small pastry, an egg, and milk when I was checking out and getting on the shuttle to the airport. They also called me in advance to remind me about the shuttle service. Highly recommend!

It's right inside the airport, truly *inside*. Although the room isn't huge, it's very clean. The service during check-in was exceptionally good; both the front desk lady and another lady in uniform were all smiles. I checked in on the evening of September 9th, and the lady in uniform even helped me carry my luggage to the room. Her helpfulness, both professionally and personally, really deserves praise. What I loved even more were the eight bottles of water, haha – super satisfying! Even though breakfast wasn't included, they provided fruit and flower cakes. While the price was about 100 RMB more than other Ji Hotel branches, it's completely worth it for the sheer convenience when catching a flight.

Booked a queen room, but upon arrival, they said it was an 'event room,' which was small and located at the very edge. The first person quoted 49 for an upgrade, then someone else said 20-something, and we ended up paying 20-something extra just to get a proper room! I've stayed at so many Hanting hotels across the country, and this is the first time I've been asked for extra money right off the bat! And the price even changed! What a scam! If my client wasn't so close, I definitely wouldn't have stayed for two nights! Oh, and on the second night, they still tried to charge more!

This hotel is excellent! I originally came to Panlong for business and just randomly booked a hotel since I knew I'd be switching. To my surprise, I found it so comfortable after checking in that I decided to extend my stay – and ended up staying for four nights! A special thanks to the lovely front desk lady with the round face. On the first night, my family of three stayed in a king-size room, and she gave us a room with a three-meter-wide bed. The next day, I mentioned the room felt a bit small, and she graciously upgraded us to a twin room, really accommodating my needs. Her service was top-notch! The hotel is clean, hygienic, and all the facilities are complete, new, and in great condition. The bed was comfortable, and the price was fantastic – very budget-friendly! Next time I'm in Kunming, I'll definitely consider this hotel first. There's parking available, and it's easy to catch a taxi. Plus, the Ruiding City Shopping Center is just next door, which is incredibly convenient! Highly recommend! This is genuinely the first time I've written such a long review just because of a hotel stay! I didn't take any photos, but it looks exactly like the pictures!!

I always stay at this hotel when I come to Kunming; I'm a loyal customer. This time, the male staff member at the front desk provided excellent service – he was enthusiastic, attentive, and very patient. He proactively helped me switch to a more suitable room, considering my needs, and made the check-in process efficient and thoughtful, which made me feel incredibly welcome. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the overall service and environment are impeccable. It offers great value for money, and I had a very comfortable stay. Also, I discovered the coffee at the entrance is quite good.

Overall, it was genuinely great. I stayed here with my parents and child, and the beds were quite large. The breakfast was plentiful; though I didn't get to try it, my parents did and they were very happy, which made me happy too. The front desk staff was excellent. When my child wasn't feeling well, they told us which hospital to go to, and all our questions and issues were communicated and resolved promptly. The hotel also has a laundry room. It was a pleasant stay, and the location was convenient for getting everywhere. Really good!
