I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Crowne Plaza Chengdu, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome with their warm and professional service. Check-in was smooth and efficient, and I was promptly shown to my room. The room itself was spacious, well-appointed, and offered all the amenities you'd expect from a hotel of this caliber. The bed was extremely comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep after a day of exploring Chengdu. The bathroom was clean and modern, with a great shower that had strong water pressure—a small detail that makes a big difference. One of the standout features of Crowne Plaza Chengdu is its excellent location. It’s situated right in the heart of the city, making it easy to access popular attractions, shopping centers, and restaurants. This convenience made my stay even more enjoyable, as I could easily walk or take a short ride to wherever I needed to go. The hotel's dining options were also impressive. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes, ensuring that there was something for everyone. The quality of the food was high, and I particularly enjoyed the fresh pastries and local specialties. The facilities at Crowne Plaza Chengdu are top-notch. The fitness center was well-equipped, and the indoor pool was a great place to relax after a long day. I also appreciated the business center, which made it easy to catch up on work when needed. While the hotel is slightly older, it is well-maintained, and the charm of the classic design adds to the overall experience. In summary, Crowne Plaza Chengdu exceeded my expectations in terms of service, comfort, and convenience. It’s a great choice for both business and leisure travelers, and I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Chengdu.

Great location, the hotel and the rooms are quite old, but thats okay because the price is also lower. Room is okay. Bed is kinda hard. Staff tried their best to communicate in English.

Great service and excellent food! On our early arrival of 9am, we were allowed to check in. Room was clean and smelled fresh though it was supposed to be smoking room. One thing about this hotel is they never stop feeding you with their Sichuan delicacies, that you would be given free delicacies from afternoon till night. Of special mention is their house keeping team who timely pick up the bag that left behind by our son after we checked out. Will definitely choose this hotel when visiting Chengdu, and also recommend this to friends!

Awesome hotel in Chengdu. I came to Chengdu for travel and watch e-Sport competition. Hotel is located on great location. It’s nearly exit E on Wenshu Monastery Station (Line1) but a bit far from main station around 5 minute walk. But more important, I could take Line1 to e-Sport competition arena directly. That was convenient for me. Staffs was very nice and helpful. Even some staff could not speak english but they tried to communicate with me by using translator. I appreciated about that. Moreover, the room was clean, comfort and bigger than I expected. Good breakfast in hotel. Also have some convenient store and local restaurant around the hotel.

So happy with my one week stay in Dorsett Grand Chengdu!! Had a great service from 小余 Eva during check-in & she was so nice to upgrade me to a Suite!! Love the clean & spacious space… Furnitures & interior were well maintained. Housekeeping sisters are really nice people too, they always gave me things that I need quickly whenever I ask. I must also highlight about the security level at night in the hotel made me feel safe at all times, which are many male staffs looking after at ground floor… Every staffs had made this hotel a great place to stay, well done!! :D

Great layover experience. Attentive and caring service from every staff at this hotel. Front desk staff Gali went out of the way to assist me in booking theatre ticket and patiently providing travel tips to me as a first time traveller to ChengDu. This is hands-down the best hotel that I have stayed in during my Sichuan trip. I have stayed in a total of 5 different hotels during my trip and this is the best of all as per my daughter's opinion too. The hot bath provided a much needed rest and relax leisure for the family and the room is extremely well maintained and cozy. I highly recommend this place and will definitely only book this hotel if I comes back to Chengdu again. 5-stars!

Great hotel. Located a mere 10mins walk away from Taikoo Li, Chunxi Road and the metro station. A convenience sits right beside the hotel too. Good variety of rooms to choose from. We got a free upgrade to a corner room that had a wider entryway. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Comes with a kettle however no mini fridge. Hotel comes with a laundry room with washers and a dryer. Service was generally good. Left luggage service available. Would recommend staying here of you're looking an afforable place to staynin Chengdu.
