"This is an excellent hotel with comprehensive facilities and stylish decor. All disposable amenities are provided. The staff are very polite and courteous. It's quite close to the airport, but without the noise. They offer an airport shuttle service, which is convenient. However, it's a shared shuttle service for several hotels, which was new to me. When I first arrived, I thought I was at the right place for check-in, but after a while, I realized it was a Hanting hotel (a different chain) – the driver didn't say anything. **Facilities:** Relatively new **Hygiene:** Very clean **Environment:** Excellent **Service:** Very enthusiastic"

"Front desk was very inefficient and quite disappointing, but the Floor Manager and the very helpful bellboy made up for it. Seems like front desk was totally untrained and took almost up to 1 hr just to process the check in itself and the group of us booked five rooms and only three rooms were ready by 3pm and the other rooms were only ready near 5pm, which is another 1.5-2 hours. We understand that China government required every occupants passport and visa entry to be photocopied but it is quite absurd to take such a long time for check in processing. Moreeover , we extended another night and communicated twice with front desk and have placed extra deposit requested ,and was requested to come to front desk the next day to swipe the card again. However , when some of us came down to front desk to swipe the room cards on next day , they were asked to place additional deposit again which resulting for total of RMB5000 for first night , additional RMB4500 for second night plus additional RMB2000 asked by reception again for rooms deposit , which was quite ridiculous. The rooms was also quite old and the only things drawing us to book the hotel was only it's central location which makes it convenient to travel to almost all the attractions on Line 1 via metro , and very short taxi distance to everywhere. There is also no kids club or any kids area , and the pool was closed during our stay. Kids amenities were provided in the room. Quite disappointing in terms of overall experience."

"Visiting Fuzhou to see a friend, they recommended the Lakeside Hotel by Fuzhou's West Lake. I'd stayed here once before, but my memory was a bit hazy. This time, checking in, I had a strange sense of familiarity... What I love most is the peaceful environment despite being in the heart of the city. The hotel provides ample parking, which is incredibly convenient for me as a self-driver. I also adore the beautiful West Lake views that greet you as soon as you open the curtains, and even more so, the relaxation of soaking in the large bathtub and the leisurely strolls along the lakeside path."

"The room was decent, with a good wet/dry separation in the bathroom, and the cleanliness was well maintained. I appreciated that the TV allowed screen mirroring. There are also plenty of shops nearby and it's conveniently located for transport. Overall, it's pretty good and I recommend staying here! 😁"

"Traveling with friends, this was my first time staying at this hotel. As soon as I stepped through the door, I was struck by its antique charm. Inside, there's a traditional Chinese courtyard with rockeries, ancient trees, and a pond filled with koi. There are also some exquisite lacquerware displays, decorative paintings, and Shoushan stone carvings, giving the place a very cultural vibe. The room facilities are also quite comprehensive; some rooms even come with a hot tub. Plus, the hotel is located within the Wenrufang area of Sanfang Qixiang (Three Lanes and Seven Alleys), making it incredibly convenient for dining and sightseeing. It's not far from the entrance of the alleys, making it easy to catch a taxi, and it's also close to the Dongjiekou commercial district, so transportation is a breeze. The hotel's downstairs restaurant offers Fuzhou specialty snacks like 'Rou Yan' (meat swallow) and fish balls for breakfast. What's more, right next door is Wenru Jiuhou Min Cuisine Restaurant, a Michelin-starred establishment, and guests get a discount there, which is a nice perk. Another great thing about this hotel is its butler service. From check-in to dining, accommodation, and transportation, guests feel well-cared for. For example, they provide a daily seasonal fruit platter and exquisite snacks, and they'll also give you a detailed introduction to the hotel's facilities, as well as nearby attractions and dining options. This level of service is absolutely fantastic! I hope they keep it up and that the hotel continues to thrive! 😃😃😃🤙🤙🤙"

"This was the worst InterContinental I've ever stayed at. The only redeeming qualities were the decent breakfast and the polite and courteous staff. Facilities: Although the hotel had AC controls, they were just for show and couldn't be adjusted. I woke up freezing in the middle of the night and had to call the front desk, who promptly sent an extra blanket. Unfortunately, I've already caught a cold. The decor is quite outdated, and the toiletries provided were less than what I've come to expect from other InterContinental hotels."

"The biggest advantage of staying at this hotel for a business trip, especially with an early morning flight the next day, is the free airport shuttle service. It's only a five-minute ride to the airport. While the hotel lacks breakfast facilities and the decor is a bit dated, the cleanliness and service are perfectly fine. It's an excellent choice for a layover."

"The best thing about this hotel is its fantastic location, right next to Sanfang Qixiang, with a subway station right outside the door, making it convenient to get anywhere. The service is great; the staff were very polite. I was woken up at night by a guest and a staff member who had the wrong room, and after a long day of travel, I was quite annoyed. However, the next day, they called to apologize and even gave me a souvenir, which made me feel a bit bad for being upset. The downsides are that the cleanliness is quite poor. There were stains on the floor, hair on the bed, and water marks all over the sink. Also, the soundproofing is terrible. I booked a non-smoking room, but there was a strong smell of smoke when I checked in, which was disappointing. Sometimes a hotel can really influence how long a traveler stays in a city. I had originally planned to spend two days in Fuzhou, but due to the cleanliness issues, I decided not to extend my stay and headed straight to Chaoshan instead. With such a sincere attitude, why can't they improve their hygiene? This is Atour, after all!!!"

"The Pullman hotel comes highly recommended. Its location is super convenient, right above Taihe Plaza, so you don't have to go far for dining or shopping. Parking is also a breeze. Check-in at the front desk was quick, and the staff were very friendly. The room was spacious and clean, with comfortable bedding, and the soundproofing at night was excellent, ensuring a very restful sleep. The bathroom had a separate wet and dry area and was well-equipped. Breakfast offered a good variety, including some local Fuzhou snacks, and the taste was great. Overall, my stay was a very pleasant and satisfying experience."

"Facilities: This is a 10-year-old brand, and the facilities and equipment are very well maintained. Cleanliness: The room was clean and tidy. The hotel has its own laundry room, so we felt very comfortable using the bedding and towels. Environment: The hotel's outdoor garden in winter is bathed in sunshine, making it very pleasant for an afternoon tea. Service: The staff were warm and helpful. Special thanks to Bill for upgrading us to a garden view room. The hotel staff's attitude was excellent. This is definitely one of the top hotel choices in Fuzhou. We were lucky enough to catch the hotel's Christmas tree lighting ceremony during our stay, which added greatly to the festive atmosphere."
