Hotels in West Lake, Lingyin Temple Scenic Area, Hangzhou

There really is nothing bad to say about this hotel. The location is within walking distance of West Lake and just a five minutes away from metro line 1. The room was bright, spacious, clean and comfortable. The shower was hot and had great pressure. Special shout out to the AC that was positively ICY. Breakfast was simple but tasty, especially the freshly cooked noodles. All the staff were really friendly, always greeting you whenever they saw you, and staff at reception even spoke some English. The price is incredibly reasonable considering all of this and I’d definitely stay here again.

We spend a brilliant weekend in Hangzhou at the Zhejiang Hotel. Excellent location to metro line 1 as well as Wulin night market, and great room service. West lake was beautiful in the evening sun, despite the traffic control areas. Also the old hotel heating system gave us some discomfort as this very hot weekend left our room at 28c with only a weak fan. The National Tea Museum is a must-see, relaxing and well curated. Overall, very satisfied.

Location is the best very close to line1 Feng qi road, just 50 meter. Once you see revolving door, you are there. Service is great, Xiao Xu is nice and eager to help whatever you ask for, although she can't speak English. We chat really help for communication without language barrier. Shop and restaurant are near along the way to Wulin night market. Sunday Wulin night market is very busy with shops and crowd. Room is new and spacious. Bed is firm and comfy. Great shower and big towel but no lotion. No smoking smell in the room. The best of the best is breakfast. Variety of food and drink you can choose. There are fruit and vegetables extractors, Wow! Variety of tea as well. They provide long Jing cha too. Mom really enjoyed breakfast. Front desk service 7 am-10pm. Overall, worth the paid money. New hotel with great location, breakfast and service.

Check in was efficient and room had a great view of the lake. Breakfast was simple but fresh and adequate, there’s something for everyone. Amenities from the heated toilet seats, Dyson hair dryer, complimentary tea, fruits and drinks, excellent location, wide beds and friendly staff won us over. We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 nights at Friendship Hotel! Now when we think of Hangzhou, we think of Friendship Hotel too. We will definitely be back so please keep up the good work!

Absolutely loved our stay at Renhe Hotel in Hangzhou! The location is unbeatable—just steps from West Lake and close to shopping areas, yet peaceful and quiet. The rooms were clean, spacious, and thoughtfully designed, with Chinese tea leaves provided for a lovely local touch. Staff were friendly and helpful, and we were pleasantly surprised by the robot that delivered our food—so convenient! A perfect blend of comfort and modern service—highly recommended!

Excellent location. Really polite staff. Room felt relaxing and spacious. Comfortable bed and good shower. Bed linen and towels clean. A little bit of mould around the shower and washbasin areas but overall it’s okay.

Hefang hotel is very good. Close to shopping area and the lake. The service is very good. Amenities are plenty. We love the buffet popcorn and soda at the lobby, very good, my family love it so much. So enjoy staying here. Only small issue, not satisfied that they have the ceiling fixed without painting in one of small room. Just doesn't look good. Overall is fine. Will come back again for sure.

This hotel was recommended by a friend and it really did not disappoint us! Love this hotel! U will be greeted by friendly staff and nice fragrance in the hotel lobby. There is also robot service but we did not get to use it. The hotel even provided a full set of Dyson hair dryer which helped styled my hair everyday! We had a bit of problem connecting the wifi in the room and they immediately sent help our way! They used their personal number to register and patiently helped connect for all our devices. Then again, this is something they should really look into for their non-Chinese citizen guests who does not have china number to register, it's such a hassle and time consuming to connect. 24hour marts are right across the street and there are a few small eateries behind the hotel. No complaints. Highly recommended!

We received warm welcome. Overall excellent service from hotel staff to the restaurants. We had a happy and enjoyable stay at the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree. Highly recommend this place. After staying at the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree for 3 nights, we went on to stay at the Shanghai on the bund Bayan Tree. We experienced a stark contrast in service from the front desk staff from the bund Banyan Tree. We wondered why they kept stopping us from getting into the room that we have booked for. In the end, we went through changing 3 rooms before they finally gave us the correct facing room. So, beware of the Shanghai on the Bund Banyan Tree and do not believe in the free upgrade or upsize room. We rejected the first corner room only to be given another corner room at the other end that were both warm and uncomfortable. The staff kept assuring us that they were bigger rooms and better view than the Panorama Riverside Retreat-King room that we have booked for but we want the room that we have booked. Why can't they give us the right room in the first place and have to made us go through changing from one room to another. A clear dishonest play here. We missed the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree front desk staff.

The hotel location is perfect, at very happening street, many eateries and mall nearby, near to train station too, hotel located very near to West Lake within very short walking distance, where musical fountain located and also can take the boat ride and buggy from there. Hotel included breakfast as well, quite many choices. Room facing main street, but the noise still acceptable because we are not early sleep people, room size ok for us, 2 big 2 small luggage, one thing not good is the toilet door is half transparent.
