"The hotel service was absolutely wonderful! We were traveling as a family, and because we had a veteran with us, the hotel upgraded our room – they were incredibly supportive of veterans. Just about 100 meters to the front right of the hotel, there's a community canteen, which made finding food really convenient. Plus, there's a subway station about 150 meters to the left."

"If you're visiting West Lake in Hangzhou, staying in the commercial district is a better choice. The transportation is much more convenient compared to the West Lake area, which has terrible traffic. My stay here was excellent. It's an established five-star hotel, and they even provided some complimentary refreshments. The room was very comfortable."

GGuest UserMy expectations were fully met, and the hotel lived up to the hype. The only minor drawback is that check-in isn't until 3:30 PM (though earlier check-in is possible if rooms are available), but this hotel is just incredibly popular. The hotel boasts numerous rooms with an exceptionally high occupancy rate and a variety of room types. Stepping inside, there's a magical sense of calm. For the same price, you might only get a standard room in Shanghai, but here we enjoyed a lake view suite. The service was also top-notch; my family felt right at home, praising the hospitality. It was money well spent. Even during the holiday, the swimming pool and hot spring weren't overcrowded, which speaks to excellent management, as reservations are required. Since it's winter, swimming was a bit chilly. However, there's also a sizable, slightly warmer children's pool area, which is absolutely fantastic.

GGuest UserHotel VANS deserves a perfect score! Stitch's service was incredibly attentive; he anticipated our needs and responded super fast. The room was fully smart, with voice control for lights, air conditioning, and curtains – a true blessing for anyone who loves convenience. The breakfast was the absolute highlight, offering both Chinese and Western options, and the freshly made pastries were outstanding. We'll definitely be back!

GGuest UserI've had this hotel saved for a year, and it turns out it's tucked away in Huang Gongwang's Fuchun Mountain Residence. It's been ages since I stayed at such a surprisingly good boutique hotel. The property isn't huge, but the rooms are well-spaced, offering great privacy. The Japanese local cuisine was the most impressive part – both dinner and breakfast were so delicious I practically had to be rolled out! Fuyang, just an hour's drive from Hangzhou, is incredibly chill ❤️. The staff were also very friendly and polite. Satisfied, recommended.

HHekaizhiThis garden-style hotel, much like West Lake itself, boasts a rich history. The staff are well-trained, polite, and enthusiastic in their service. I won't dwell on the positives, but rather focus on areas for improvement, hoping for an even better experience. 1. **Layout:** The single-story layout means rooms are quite a distance from the front desk. After a long day out, already tired, it feels like an endless walk back. 2. **Guest Segregation:** As a resort hotel, I suggest a better separation between business and leisure guests. I was enjoying tea by West Lake, and all I could hear were loud discussions about IPOs and investments, full of self-promotion – utterly boring! It completely ruined a perfectly good afternoon tea. It was such a mood killer! 3. **Noise & Smoke from Business Guests:** Meeting guests were playing cards (Guan Dan) in their rooms with their doors wide open, smoking, filling the entire hallway with smoke. There's a small balcony outside the rooms; couldn't they play cards there? The hotel should consider the experience of leisure guests, otherwise, it doesn't live up to its national reputation and 3000+ RMB room rate. 4. **Breakfast Disappointment:** Breakfast ends at 10 AM. We arrived at 9:30 AM, and there were still many people in the restaurant. I wanted orange juice but was told it was out. Then I asked for milk, and that was gone too. I looked around the dining area; there were at least forty or fifty adults and children still eating. I was speechless, not knowing what to say. 5. **Bathroom Amenities:** The shower gel in the room seemed to be L'Occitane, but the font was so small that it was impossible to read once wet. The shampoo and shower gel looked identical, making it hard to distinguish, so I accidentally used shower gel as shampoo several times. Overall, the hotel's quality is evident. The Chinese restaurant, tea house, room service, breakfast, front desk, and concierge are all good. Especially the manager of the Chinese restaurant – he's kind and friendly, even coming to the breakfast restaurant the next day to greet us, which was very professional. In short, West Lake State Guest House is good, and I hope it continues to improve! Oh, and that West Lake Fish in Vinegar Sauce – to make carp taste that good, that truly shows skill.

GGuest UserFrom the moment I walked in, I experienced top-notch service. Annie at the front desk was efficient and friendly during check-in, and Taylor the bellhop proactively helped bring my luggage to the room. Housekeeper Xenia Sarah was incredibly responsive throughout my stay. The hotel is right by West Lake, making it convenient for exploring and dining, yet still peaceful. The room facilities are brand new, the lighting design is well-thought-out, and the bathroom has a separate wet and dry area with comfortable shower pressure. The large TV made catching up on shows from bed super relaxing. It was very easy to get to Kerry Center for meals. I'm extremely satisfied and will definitely choose this place again.

GGuest UserI was really happy with the room; it was large and beautifully decorated. It really lives up to the Banyan Tree name. I stayed at the Banyan Tree Shanghai a few years ago, and for a similar price, all you really got was a Bund view. The size of the room, the sophisticated feel, and the resort-like atmosphere there can't compare to Xixi. Here, there are two huge lakeside terraces, and the ducks and fish are smart – they'll come right up to you for food. The room itself was incredible, my parents couldn't even find me! The bathroom was also massive, though I wasn't a fan of the scent of the toiletries; it was a bit cloying. The hotel's exterior is stunning both day and night, definitely worth exploring. You can walk all the way to the Ambassador Suite area to get a closer look at the water. It's actually part of the Xixi Wetland, so you can catch a glimpse of the wetland's wild side. The hotel golf cart can take you to the free section of Xixi Wetland outside the main gate, and after you've explored, you can contact the hotel to pick you up again. Every single staff member at the hotel was warm and attentive.

LLielielielieMy stay here was a truly delightful surprise! From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I experienced incredibly attentive service. The front desk staff were efficient and welcoming during check-in, and they thoughtfully informed me about breakfast times and hotel facilities. The room was more spacious and brighter than I expected, and the bedding was clean and comfortable, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. The separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom were a practical design, and there was plenty of hot water. I particularly want to commend the soundproofing in the room; it was very quiet, completely undisturbed by outside noise. The hotel's location is also excellent, with plenty of dining and shopping options nearby. This will definitely be my top choice the next time I visit this city! A big thumbs up to your team!

HHaidixiaozongduipaijiThe hotel's location is undoubtedly superb. Facing West Lake directly, it feels amazing to step out and immediately be by the lake. You can even catch the West Lake scenic tour bus right outside the hotel! To its back is the bustling Intime In77 shopping center, making dining and shopping incredibly convenient – just a left turn out the door. The hotel upgraded from a Hyatt in 2018 to the only Grand Hyatt in Zhejiang, a clear step up in prestige, though also in price. Due to the building's structure, the room sizes increased slightly, but not significantly. The soundproofing in the rooms is excellent, which helps with sleep. However, I personally felt the hot water temperature wasn't high enough, even though the hot water flow met standards – I just wish it were faster. The breakfast offers a rich variety of dishes. Besides the standard offerings, it incorporates many local specialties like Roujiamo (meat burger), Shima Wuxiang (five-spice meat roll), and Chongqing noodles, most of which are freshly made on-site, giving it a vibrant, local feel. I also experienced the dinner buffet, which surprisingly remains incredibly popular after all these years – I almost couldn't get a reservation! A highlight is the unlimited Wellington beef. It's quite something how foreigners managed to combine so many ingredients with such a bland cut of beef to create this dish. On the day I dined, there was also winged fish soup with yellow croaker, among many other options. Overall, it was excellent value for money.

GGuest UserIf you're coming to Hangzhou, you absolutely have to stay at the Conrad! This time, I specifically chose a river-view room, and it definitely didn't disappoint. From the 50th-floor 'cloud' perspective, you get a panoramic view of the magnificent Qiantang River and the dazzling 'Big Golden Ball.' Especially at sunset, the entire city is bathed in a golden glow – every photo turns out stunning! The hotel itself is part of the twin towers, and the design is incredibly stylish. Just this view alone makes it worth every penny. Jodie and Irene were both very polite and responsive, quickly addressing any needs I had. The location is also convenient for getting around.

Bblue so blueThe room was clean, the bathroom was huge, and both the mattress and pillows were so comfortable that I fell asleep instantly – I'm even thinking of buying a set for myself! The breakfast was the most enjoyable and 'Chinese palate'-friendly I've ever had at any hotel. There were five types of noodles alone, and the Chinese toppings for them were delicious. They also had egg pancakes, preserved vegetable flatbreads, jianbing guozi (savory crepes), and waffles. The pastries were bakery-quality, much better than typical hotel breakfast offerings, especially the mochi daifuku – two weren't even enough! Usually, I'd go for two rounds at a hotel breakfast, but this time, the noodles and pastries completely filled me up before I even got to the stir-fries.
