Guest UserMy stay at WPLUS in Hangzhou was the final stop on my trip, a perfect journey for rest and rejuvenation. I was worried about traffic restrictions when driving into Hangzhou, but the staff member registered my license plate, so I had no issues entering the West Lake scenic area. The uphill road was indeed narrow and steep, and the parking lot could only accommodate a few cars. The room was a bit on the smaller side, but the excellent service more than made up for these minor drawbacks. The welcome fruit was substantial, and the afternoon tea was both exquisite and delicious. For the evening, I enjoyed a passion fruit tea nightcap, and drifted off to sleep with the scent of osmanthus. Breakfast was a semi-buffet with an à la carte option. After breakfast, I returned to my room, brewed a cup of black tea with water from Hupao Spring, and savored the aroma while gazing at the tea mountains. Watching butterflies flutter among the flowers outside my window, time seemed to stand still. Upon check-out, I was even given a parting gift. WPLUS is definitely my top choice for a vacation in Hangzhou.

Guest UserThe hotel is right in front of the bus stop. If you're walking from Metro Line 1, you'll pass through a commercial street, and there are plenty of dining options nearby. The lobby has excellent air conditioning, and there's a free coffee machine and tea available.
The room isn't huge, but it looks exactly like the promotional pictures. The smart home features throughout the room are very convenient, and I was quite satisfied. The only minor thing is the mirror facing the bed, but you can just cover it with a towel if it bothers you. The hotel service was also excellent; it was pouring rain when we arrived, and while we were resting in the lobby, the front desk staff kept checking on us. Even the cleaning staff was very polite when we asked for our room to be tidied.

Guest UserThis hotel has great style. However, the shampoo is very watery; even with five or six pumps, it's not enough. This doesn't really match the hotel's standards, so perhaps they could switch to a better shampoo. The ceilings are quite high, and the blackout curtains work well, so I slept soundly. The carpet was a bit dirty and could use regular cleaning. The front desk manager was very warm and friendly. There's a large mountain behind the hotel, perfect for a hike. Breakfast was plentiful.

Had a wonderful three-day, two-night stay at the Fuchun Resort, a place I've long admired. The architecture, rich in Chinese aesthetics, blends seamlessly with the natural environment of Fuyang, creating a truly harmonious feel. Hiking here was wonderfully wild and scenic. The resort's thoughtful service was evident in every detail: from the welcome greeting and the consistently helpful and responsive personal butler (Benson) before arrival, to the doorman's proactive and natural assistance with luggage, and the waitress's meticulous inquiry about dietary preferences at breakfast. All these touches reflect the hotel's high standards of service and made me feel truly respected. I even left my hat in the calligraphy class and only realized it when the instructor notified me and said it would be promptly returned to the lobby. The shuttle drivers were also very punctual, almost always available on call. The housekeeping staff were diligent and friendly. The hotel also offers a wide range of activities, and the travel photography service was particularly high quality. Fuchun Resort truly lives up to its reputation as a high-end resort. I'd love to visit again!

MCCaoTwo nights, three days – I'd always heard that when it comes to hotels in Qiandao Lake, there's the InterContinental and then there's everything else. This trip really drove that point home.
The drive from Wuxi to Qiandao Lake takes four hours. Since the InterContinental occupies its own island, having a car makes getting around much easier.
The scenery along the Hangzhou Ring Expressway leading to Qiandao Lake is absolutely stunning, especially once you enter Qiandao Lake itself, with its myriad of winding islands and towering mountains. As soon as you exit the highway, you're practically in the mountains. The InterContinental's flags lining the mountain road gave a real 'welcome home' feeling.
Driving with the windows down along the lake, you're enveloped in fresh, oxygen-rich air.
Before even entering the hotel, I spotted the lighthouse and the Arc de Triomphe. The hotel lobby entrance is a beautiful photo op, a perfect blend of lake and sky.
I stayed in a lake view room, and the view was absolutely breathtaking, overlooking Qiandao Lake. Add a Qiandao Lake beer, and my mood was instantly uplifted. The floor-to-ceiling windows had a sofa for enjoying the view. The room was spacious and very well-maintained. They even provided a crib for my child, which was reassuring. The toiletries were excellent, and the bathtub was perfect for a relaxing soak.
I'd read many reviews about the dinner, and after trying it myself, I thought it was quite good. While the variety might not be extensive, it was definitely sufficient, and the taste was decent.
For breakfast, I'd seen reviews mentioning long queues, but it's really just for registering your room number. Seating was quick, and the food was good. I recommend sitting by the window in the priority seating area, where you can see the infinity pool seamlessly blend with the Qiandao Lake scenery.
Swan Lake offers animal feeding, but this area could definitely be improved. There were too few animals, and I suggest increasing the interactivity.
The kids' club has different zones, but I think it could be even better. The space is quite large, and with better planning and layout, a more integrated approach could offer more movement options for kids, and improved climbing and ground-level activities.
I highly recommend both the infinity pool and the indoor pool. My kids didn't want to leave! The pools have shallow and deep areas, catering to children of all ages. You can also rent or buy swimming gear at the hotel, which is very convenient. The scenery is stunning, and the water quality is excellent.
Being a large hotel, it's perfect for an evening stroll, whether to the viewing platform, the lighthouse, or just along the lake – it's very relaxing.
Renting an electric tour car for 120/hour is a great way to explore the mountains comfortably in the summer.
The hotel offers many activities, such as children's themed events and morning guided hikes. It would be even better if they added more water activities or equipment.
It's wonderful to slow down and relax on this tranquil island amidst a busy life.
Finally, a special thank you to 'Butler Landy'. Landy's service was impeccable – attentive, thoughtful, and reliably efficient. She responded quickly and resolved any issues. I felt her genuine sincerity throughout, and the service experience was top-notch. If you stay here, you must find her!

MellyOoAn unforgettable luxury wellness retreat.
I discovered Xixi Xin Hotel while searching for a peaceful escape, and it exceeded every expectation. The architecture is breathtaking, blending traditional Chinese culture with modern luxury in a way that feels elegant, authentic and incredibly calming. The attention to detail throughout the property is exceptional.
The suites are beautifully designed with natural, eco-friendly materials that create an instantly grounding atmosphere. Upon entering, you’re welcomed by a Marshall speaker with a curated selection of nature sounds—waves, birds, rustling leaves and crackling fire—setting the tone for complete relaxation. The bathroom is equally impressive, with beautiful curtains opening to a soaking spa prepared daily with fresh rose petals and natural bath salts. Thoughtful touches such as soft linen loungewear and complimentary disposable swimwear made the experience feel effortlessly luxurious.
Service is truly five-star. Each suite is assigned a personal butler who is attentive, responsive and genuinely committed to making your stay effortless. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble, and the hospitality was warm, personal and sincere.
I was initially hesitant about the vegetarian restaurant, but it was one of the highlights of my stay. The dishes were nutritious, beautifully presented and worthy of fine dining, while still being surprisingly filling. For those who prefer meat, there are also excellent restaurants nearby.
The wellness program is outstanding, with daily yoga, Tai Chi, sound baths, traditional Chinese medicine consultations and other healing experiences. Classes run for around an hour and are led by knowledgeable instructors who genuinely care about your wellbeing, creating a deeply relaxing and restorative experience.
With only around 8–10 suites, the hotel remains wonderfully quiet and intimate, allowing guests to completely disconnect from the outside world. After just three nights, I left feeling genuinely relaxed, grounded and restored.
A rare hidden gem that combines exceptional architecture, thoughtful design, impeccable service and meaningful wellness experiences. If you’re looking for a peaceful five-star retreat focused on luxury, wellness and tranquillity, I couldn’t recommend Xixi Xin Hotel more highly. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Anonymous User1. The hotel's location is excellent, right next to In77.
2. You can park in front of the hotel, but spaces are very limited. We arrived at noon, and the front lot was full. We then went to the multi-story parking garage behind the hotel, but our car was too long to fit. In the end, a security guard directed us to park nearby. It was a bit worrying as a typhoon hit in the middle of the night with heavy winds and rain.
3. The hotel is 40 years old, and all the facilities still have an old-fashioned style. I'd suggest a renovation; the carpet looked quite dirty. The room also had old wooden furniture.
4. Since I was traveling with my high school-aged child, I specifically booked a two-bedroom executive suite. Having two separate bathrooms was great. However, the toilet rooms were very small. The sofa looked old, and the curtains were dirty. The executive suite itself was very spacious.
5. Breakfast is on the second floor. By 8 AM, it was already bustling with people. There wasn't a huge variety, but there was enough to eat. They made ci fan tuan (sticky rice rolls) fresh on the spot, which was a nice touch.
6. Overall, the service was great. The parking security guards, the service staff we encountered, and even the cleaning aunties in the hallway almost all proactively greeted us warmly and asked if we needed help. The training is clearly good 👍

Guest UserFront desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

The staff were really enthusiastic. Before my stay, I chatted with them to understand what was around the hotel for evening visits and how long it would take to get to Lingyin Temple, and they patiently explained everything. When I left, I forgot my invoice, but after contacting them on WeChat, they promptly helped me get a new one. The overall quality of the front desk staff is excellent. The room was small but perfectly adequate, and I had a very good night's rest. If you're planning to visit Lingyin Temple, the scenic area has traffic restrictions, but there are special shuttle services nearby to take you in. Highly recommended!
