Beach Hotels in Hangzhou

"I've always had a soft spot for Anya since I stayed at Anya Dali a few years ago. Hangzhou is a city I visit frequently, but this was my first time staying at Anya there, as Hangzhou has an overwhelming number of hotel choices. This time, I wanted to visit Manjuelong and太子湾公园 (Taiziwan Park), so I picked Anya Hangzhou, which had been in my saved list for a while. Just like Anya Dali, the hotel's style is minimalist and grand yet elegant, with features reminiscent of Republican-era architecture. The hotel is located just a short walk up a road next to Sihoujing on Hupao Road, making it a convenient distance to Hupao Park. The hotel's breakfast and complimentary afternoon tea are just as distinctive. Although served as a set menu, the variety is so extensive that you feel incredibly satisfied even before you start eating. You can enjoy afternoon tea in the restaurant anytime you're at the hotel. Breakfast is divided into appetizers, main courses, and staple foods. You choose one staple food, and you can, of course, ask for more if needed. On the first day, I had beef noodles, and on the second, I had small wontons and soup dumplings. The quality of the main dishes is also excellent, and there's a self-service area as well. The restaurant also provides coffee, tea, and fruit 24 hours a day. The room was quite clean, and they even prepared amenities that women appreciate, such as facial towels and baby wipes. There was also a canvas bag containing tissues, water, and wipes, convenient for taking out while exploring. The staff's attitude was pleasant and very thoughtful, without being overbearing, clearly indicating professional training. I do have a suggestion: the spotlights in the washroom area and the bedroom area are too dazzling. It's hard to keep your eyes open when washing your face or lying in bed. Also, the sink in the bathroom is too small and narrow, causing water to splash all over the counter after washing your face. These aspects could be improved."
