Best Hangzhou Spa Hotels

We received warm welcome. Overall excellent service from hotel staff to the restaurants. We had a happy and enjoyable stay at the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree. Highly recommend this place. After staying at the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree for 3 nights, we went on to stay at the Shanghai on the bund Bayan Tree. We experienced a stark contrast in service from the front desk staff from the bund Banyan Tree. We wondered why they kept stopping us from getting into the room that we have booked for. In the end, we went through changing 3 rooms before they finally gave us the correct facing room. So, beware of the Shanghai on the Bund Banyan Tree and do not believe in the free upgrade or upsize room. We rejected the first corner room only to be given another corner room at the other end that were both warm and uncomfortable. The staff kept assuring us that they were bigger rooms and better view than the Panorama Riverside Retreat-King room that we have booked for but we want the room that we have booked. Why can't they give us the right room in the first place and have to made us go through changing from one room to another. A clear dishonest play here. We missed the Hang Zhou Banyan Tree front desk staff.

Good location at 10 minutes walking distance from the west lake scenic area and shopping malls. We had a deluxe room and it was very large, comfortable and clean. The men at the entrance door (who are not Chinese) speak perfect English and gave us useful advices to visit the city.

The hotel is in a good location and quite near a subway station. Well decorated with good size room. The cleanliness was very well done, everyday after we return back to hotel for our rest in the afternoon, the room feels so clean and refreshing so we are very impressed with the cleaning staff. One particular staff worth mentioning is Ms.Hai from the morning breakfast restaurant. On our first morning, we came down to the restaurant at almost 10am, it was very crowded but Ms. Hai took care of us very well, got us our table all cleaned up and made sure we have enough food and the items we wanted as the kitchen was slowly closing up for breakfast to end. On our next few mornings, she did the same excellent service for us and we also saw that she took care of many other guests that needed her help also especially the elderly ones. We think Ms. Hai gives her service from her heart so please convey our special thanks to her. However, we find that the front desk staff are not as friendly as they just put on a superficial smile and they don't really listen and want to help you, maybe you should train them more so that they are able give your guests a more sincere service just like Ms. Hai from the breakfast restaurant. We found one interesting feature when we ordered our food online, its being served by a robot who brings the packed food right in front of our door! Overall experience is a good one. Thank you.

Great, clean hotel in convenient location. Good room size and nice breakfast. My biggest complaint is how dliw is the internet. It's not even good enough to have a video call or Zoom meeting. Also, it is too bad that almost no staff member speaks English They have a simple gym, but I needed to ask it to ve open since nobody was using it the entire time we were there.

The hotel experience is great! The location of the hotel is unique and convenient for travel. It is close to both scenic spots and shopping areas. The hotel has all the facilities you need. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the layout is very exquisite. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the bathroom is clean and tidy with a large space. The service is impeccable. From check-in to check-out, Xiao Hu at the front desk is warm and thoughtful, and always responds to our needs in a timely manner, which makes people feel particularly considerate. The hotel's breakfast is rich and varied, not only with a variety of Chinese and Western food, but also with fresh fruits and exquisite desserts, which taste very delicious. I stayed here for a few days and had a very pleasant time every day. I will choose here next time.

The scenery of Hangzhou in April is absolutely top-notch. How can you enjoy Hangzhou during the Qingming Festival? First of all, I made sure that I had to book a room in a scenic area. I could reach it by walking or riding a bike even if there was a huge traffic jam outside, so I chose the familiar Yaguquan Villa. The hotel itself has a very high greening rate. The key is that there is an ancient teahouse path in the hotel, and you can reach the beautiful turtle pond in Aohao Bay in 3 minutes (Figure 1-6). There is also good news. Hellobike can be ridden directly to the hotel bicycle parking area, which is a normal parking area. The hotel's software service is also very nice. When I checked in, there happened to be a Mr. Ji at the front desk who was enthusiastic and very skilled in business. He understood my request in seconds before I finished speaking. The communication was extremely smooth and he knew everything about the surrounding area of ​​the hotel. On the afternoon of my stay in the courtyard, the excavator was digging cables. Although it was promised that it would be closed before 2:30 pm, it still had a certain impact on my stay. After knowing this, Mr. Ji took the initiative to offer me a double set meal. Since I had ordered a meal out in the evening, it was replaced with breakfast for my son during my stay. In short, the crisis public relations ability is very strong, good reviews, and I will come again during the osmanthus season.

Booked this hotel for my friends, they all said the hotel is good, the location is good, it is convenient for travel, the transportation is convenient, the front desk Yingying and Xiao Zheng are very good, enthusiastic, smiling service, worthy of praise. And the room is clean and tidy. There is no odor, recommended to stay

The hotel is a dream come true for all. Kids enjoyed every second of their stay. The room and the facilities are all catered to the little ones. The pool and the gym were also fantastic. The staff was very welcoming and provided my kids with everything they needed to have fun at the pool. The kids club was also well equipped. The breakfast was spectacular and offered a wide variety of Chinese and western food. Overall we were very impressed with the hotel and it will be our home from now on in Hangzhou.

The overall stay in the hotel is very satisfactory. The front desk provides free luggage storage and wake-up service. The front desk staff V and G are efficient and enthusiastic. The room is clean and tidy, the bed is of suitable height, the space is large, the cost performance is very high, the experience is very good, the experience is very good

Our party of 3 adults spent 3 nights at the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort in early 12/2024.  We came to Fuchun to see the scenaries that had inspired the famous 富春山居圖 painting.  We booked 2 basic rooms (Linyin Garden View), but received free upgrades (Guizhou Lake View) at check in.  I must admit our initial feelings as we arrived was one of creeping doubt, because the Fuyang city streets we had driven through (we drove in from the Hangzhou Xihu area) were very industrial, just giant factories one after another and the immediate area outside the property was just a bunch of small suburban farm homes and shops.  Furthermore, as our car pulled up to the front lobby entrance, no one greeted us.  Not a soul was in sight.  Our driver had to poke his head inside and announce guests are here and service is needed.  From there on, however, things only got better and better.  So, yes, this was a quiet property.  There wasn’t a lot of staff standing about.  But, there was enough personnel to provide all the basic services expected.  And I found they were very friendly, quick to respond, and efficient.  During our 3.5 days here, we explored and enjoyed this beautiful hotel inside and out.  The hotel itself (the main building) was simply grand.  Its design and decor was a perfect balance of East Meets West, modernized traditional, understated elegance.  The layout was a bit of a labyrinth.  There were wings, corridors, and stairs you can go down to find restaurants, spa/gym/pool, conference rooms, sitting nooks, a small boat dock, and even an impressive collection of embroidery art on display.  Our rooms were large and airy, spotless, the ceiling was high, and the windows opened onto the lake.  The bathroom was spacious with a double sink and lots of counter space.  Beds and pillows were very comfortable, definitely in line with 5 star international standards.  Outside, there was a man-made lake with 2 groups of swans (or were they white geese?).  They crisscrossed the lake during the day and slept below our windows at night.  There was also a little children’s playground (with a pair of ducks) and what looked like a small amphitheater.  Several short paths allowed us to walk the sizable grounds.  Early one morning, we followed one across a little brook to the edge of the tea terrace.  Another morning, we strolled down a road flanked by bamboo that led to the beautiful villas that stood apart from the main hotel.  Everywhere, the atmosphere was tranquil and the views spectacular.  We ate most of our meals at the hotel since we were unfamiliar with the area and didn’t really want to go out looking (this was the end of a 2 week trip).  We tried both of the restaurants on-site (the Chinese and the Western/Fusion) and thought they were fine overall, since food/ingredients were fresh and of good quality.  Taste and craft were okay, not great but acceptable.  In truth, we were probably not too demanding at this point, as we had already gorged out during our previous stay in the HZ/Xihu area.  In summary, our family really liked the Fuchun Mountain Golf Resort.  We were very comfortable during our short stay.  We really appreciated the quiet calmness of the place as well as the warm service provided by the entire staff.  We would love to return.  It was an easy car ride from the HZ city area, and it was easy to hire cars to nearby and more distant attractions.  Lastly, for those interested in the 富春山居圖, there is a replica of the painting (both parts and to scale) displayed downstairs in the spa :)
