My first stay at Mercure Hangzhou Fengqi Road was very pleasant overall! First, the location is excellent, right near Fengqi Road, making transportation incredibly convenient. There are plenty of dining and shopping options nearby, and it's easy to hail a taxi. It's only about 2km from West Lake Scenic Area, which is great for anyone visiting Hangzhou for business or leisure. The room was spacious and bright, spotlessly clean, with soft and comfortable bedding. The soundproofing was also excellent, allowing for a very quiet and restful night's sleep. The toiletries were of good quality too; though not a big brand, they left a subtle citrus scent, and my hair and skin felt smooth afterward. The bathroom featured a smart toilet, and the shower had excellent non-slip measures and grab bars, with plenty of hot water – very senior-friendly! What impressed me most was the service. Both the front desk and housekeeping staff were warm, attentive, and polite, with quick response times, making me feel right at home. When I checked in, I emphasized that I needed a non-smoking room, but upon opening the door, I found a strong lingering smoke smell from the previous guest. I reported this to the front desk, and they immediately moved me to another room on a higher floor. The security guard on the first floor was very responsible, carefully verifying visitors' identities. The housekeeping ladies always greeted me with a smile. The breakfast restaurant, though not large, offered a rich variety of fresh ingredients, catering to different tastes and needs from both north and south. Areas for improvement: 1) I wanted to go to the gym but found the door locked. 2) The hotel lacks a service elevator, so guests and staff share just two elevators. Sometimes, due to goods being transported, the wait for an elevator can be quite long. 3) The rooms do not provide an iron and ironing board. If you need to iron clothes, you have to go to the laundry room on the first floor, and there's only one in the entire hotel. This is very inconvenient and not user-friendly. 4) In the 11th-floor room I initially stayed in, the lettering on the bedside phone was faded. When I wanted to report the smoke smell to the front desk, I didn't know which button to press. I had to use my mobile phone to call the hotel. I suggest the hotel replace the phones and clearly label the buttons, or provide a small card on the bedside table with the service hotline information. 5) The bedside lamp and overhead light in the room couldn't be controlled separately, and there was no night light. Turning on the light in the middle of the night would disturb anyone else in the room, but without it, you'd be fumbling in the dark and risk falling.

Chose this hotel because of its location & value for money price - Just a stone throw away from the Southern Song Imperial Street & did can drop us off directly at the door step (as opposed to many hotels which are located on pedestrian street). Plenty of food within short walking distance as well. Although the hotel is a bit dated, it was really clean and comfortable - the decor was rather unique & classy (not tacky at all, as I initially thought). Rooms were clearly refurbished and added with smart features. Take note though that there’s a construction going on currently opposite the hotel. Our room was upgraded and we were given a room that does not face the construction site so we weren’t bothered by it at all! Staff were incredibly helpful throughout our stay. Couldn’t recommend this place enough if you’re planning a visit to Hangzhou

The hotel is conveniently located near Hefang Street, within walking distance. The room was clean, spacious, and equipped with smart devices, ensuring a comfortable stay. We were also provided with complimentary snacks and free drinks in the fridge. The only drawback was the lack of a partition between the bathroom and the bed, which made it inconvenient for a family of three to change clothes after showering. Additionally, the hotel doesn't have its own parking lot; guests need to use the nearby Wuliu Lane parking garage. This is a multi-story car park where people and cars are separated, making it very inconvenient if you need to quickly grab something from your vehicle.

There's always a concern about staying at nature-themed hotels this season: the environment might not be very appealing. However, this hotel was a pleasant surprise. The design team had clearly considered autumn scenery from the very beginning, carefully selecting trees and even including reeds, creating a unique and enchanting atmosphere under the autumn sun (actually, it's winter). Staying there and appreciating it fully evoked the feel of a Canadian or North American forest movie. Behind the hotel is a large autumn woodland where you can walk on fallen leaves in the morning – very relaxing and comfortable. And at night, the sky is filled with far more stars than just one or two, along with a full moon. The hotel staff were very welcoming, and there were even some cats, creating a relaxed and comfortable atmosphere. Of course, there were some drawbacks. Not all rooms were well-maintained; some areas looked quite old, and some chairs on the balcony were dusty, which negatively impacted the experience. Hopefully, future guests will check the outdoor areas for dust before checking in. As for the issue of the condition of the rooms, I really don't know how to suggest improvements. Previous guests have mentioned the cold winter weather, but this time, they had provided heaters, which was very thoughtful. In short, the scenery and architectural design are both excellent and worth seeing, especially in autumn!

The environment here is fantastic! The lobby has books, a guzheng (Chinese zither), and calligraphy brushes, plus two adorable parrots 🦜. I'm very satisfied with this hotel; the rooms are spotless, and the front desk staff are wonderful. It's also very convenient for getting around. To go to West Lake, you just need to take the subway to Xiuxi Road Station. I really love it and will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Hangzhou.

I booked this hotel thinking it was close to West Lake. Before checking in, I quickly scrolled through Xiaohongshu and didn't have high expectations, but after staying there, I felt it was pretty good. From the moment we checked in, I had a good feeling. The front desk saw we had a child and offered to include breakfast for them, even though we only had a double breakfast originally. Honestly, when we travel, my husband never wakes up for breakfast, so it's usually just my son and me eating anyway, but I still appreciate the front desk's thoughtfulness. The room was also great; the 2-meter bed was perfectly fine for two adults and one child, not at all cramped. The bedding and cleanliness were good too. The soundproofing wasn't as bad as some reviews claimed; I thought it was decent. When we left, we accidentally left our new headphones on the nightstand, and they promptly helped us find them. The view from the 10th-floor observation deck was also nice. Overall, it's great value for money and suitable for families who want to visit West Lake.

Since my friend and I were traveling with our dogs, we chose this hotel. The hotel environment is very good, the front desk service is also very good, and we upgraded the suite because our child is older (16 years old). The breakfast is also OK, although there are not many varieties, but the taste is good.

They offered complimentary late-night congee every evening and free laundry service. It's about a 10-minute walk to West Lake, which is a bit of a distance, but overall, highly recommended!

Front desk staff, Ms. Wang Xiao, kindly upgraded my mother's room for free. The room was spacious and bright, with a bathtub for a relaxing soak. The environment was quiet, ensuring a great night's rest. Breakfast was plentiful, and they even gave us a souvenir upon check-out. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends and family when they visit Hangzhou.

My stay at Hangzhou Tower Hotel was exceptional. The hotel boasts a prime location, right next to West Lake, making it incredibly convenient to walk to many famous attractions. The rooms are spacious and bright, with modern and well-maintained facilities. The bedding was remarkably comfortable. The staff provided professional and attentive service, from check-in to daily inquiries, responding efficiently and with a kind and polite demeanor. The dining options were extensive and of high quality, especially the breakfast, which offered a wide variety of both Chinese and Western dishes. The overall environment was clean and elegant, with attention to detail that showcased its quality. This stay far exceeded my expectations and is truly an ideal choice for a visit to Hangzhou. Highly recommended.
