I this was last minute booking, the hotel is fantastic with large rooms, great showers and fantastic owners, I had the privilege to join in on Karaoke, (the whole family is very musical). Location is tucked away and quiet but still only a 5 min walk to town.

A Convenient and Comfortable Stay in Hoi An, Vietnam I recently stayed at the Tran Family Hostel in Hoi An, Vietnam, and I had a wonderful experience. The hostel staff was incredibly helpful and assisted me in organizing trips to My Son and Hue, which went smoothly without any issues. Additionally, I thoroughly enjoyed their outdoor swimming pool. The location of the Tran Family Hostel is just a 5-minute walk from the city center, making it extremely convenient for exploring the vibrant streets of Hoi An. The hostel's proximity to various attractions, markets, and restaurants allowed me to fully immerse myself in the local atmosphere. The rooms at the Tran Family Hostel are modern and spacious, providing a comfortable and relaxing environment for guests. The highlight was the super comfy bed, ensuring a restful night's sleep after a long day of sightseeing. The cleanliness and upkeep of the accommodation were also commendable. One of my favorite amenities at the Tran Family Hostel was the outdoor swimming pool. It provided the perfect spot to unwind and cool off during hot Vietnamese afternoons. The pool area was well-maintained and added an extra touch of relaxation to my stay. All in all, my time at the Tran Family Hostel was fantastic. The staff's assistance in organizing trips to My Son and Hue ensured a hassle-free and enjoyable experience. The convenient location, modern rooms, and comfy bed added to the overall comfort of my stay. I highly recommend the Tran Family Hostel to fellow travelers visiting Hoi An.

The hotel is in a street off the main road through town. Our taxi driver struggled to find it as it doesn’t say Royal Villa outside- it says Royal Room to rent. It’s well positioned, a 10 minute walk into the town centre and old town. 5 minutes to the river. We paid around $15 per night and booked 3 nights. We had room 301 which overlooked the road but had good sound proofed windows- with the windows open it could be a bit noisy through the day. The room was small with walk in, wet room shower. All was modern and clean with a fridge, TV, good ac, lots of electric sockets but no safe. The other rooms (not ending 01) looked bigger and were set back from the road. The bed was very firm with good quality mattress but may be too hard for people who like a soft bed. The staff were friendly but didn’t speak much English. They rented us a scooter for 120VND which seemed a good price. Good price and a nice clean option for a budget room.

The hotel is massive and is right on the beach. Has a great pool and pool bar. The gym is big, spread over 2 floors which is great. The room is standard, nothing special but was nice enough. Balcony could have had some seating.

The location is good, and the night market is also better because it takes about 10 minutes on foot, so it's not noisy. The service was great. They tried to do everything, you could rent a bicycle, and they helped you check in a little faster. The pool is large and clean However, the room I stayed in had a very strong mold smell.

This was one of my favorite stays during my year long travels. The room was super clean, and the bed was unbelievably comfortable. You can’t beat the location, and the family that runs the home stay are so incredibly nice and helpful. Great value, don’t hesitate to stay here.

The Delicacy Hotel was a delight to stay at. The staff are so welcoming and friendly and very helpful with anything you need to know etc. They recommended and then booked a great snorkeling day trip for us with Tiger Fishing boat for my 80 year old mother and myself knowing that my Mum (we are from Australia) was very fit and well and could do the trip. Mum had her 80th birthday when we were there and they gave her a little cake at breakfast and made a beautiful homemade card and envelope which was lovely for us all. The variety of food at breakfast was great and they have a chef ready to cook your eggs anyway you wish. The swimming pool was large and a very good temperature and the Deluxe Twin Room with Pool View we stayed in was a very good size with a bath separate to the shower. As the hotel was only built in Dec 2022 the TV was large and very good quality, and the furnishings were very nice. The only recommendation we have is that they put a soap and soap dish in the bathroom but that is only minor as they did have soap wash. The mocktails were fantastic with a big variety. I can highly recommend the Rooftop Delight (I think that was the name but it had lychee and mango puree and something red (berries maybe?)) Mocktail as it was thick and luscious and at Happy Hour I was happy to get 2 for the price of one. Really enjoyed my conversations with Sarah, Chloe, Victor and Lisa at the front desk and Emma and Anna in the restaurant and everyone remembers your name so it feels very personal and a special place to stay.

We stayed here in March for the duration of our stay in hoi an . We initially booked 8 nights but we changed it to 9 . The place is very clean and safe . Ie there is staff at reception till midnight and security in the day and night . There is also cctv. The rooms are comfy and clean , the bedding always smelled nice and clean . The marble bath is to die for if you like a good soak in the bath . The room has a tv , air con , fridge with stocked mini bar and you get water free daily . Mini bar prices are same prices of the shops locally. Breakfast was nice , Asian style breakfast such as rice , stir fry , tropical fruits , egg , roasts etc , staff are kind enough to fry an egg if requested . Lona, Anh, Kim who worked on the desk were absolutely wonderful and very sweet and kind . We enjoyed talking to them everyday . Nothing was too much trouble and they was always very helpful to our needs and stuff we needed such as taxis and scooter hire . They are very chatty , speak English and they really made our stay enjoyable . We really enjoyed speaking with them and they really are the sweetest and kindest and sincere Vietnamese people we’ve ever met . We was sad when our holiday ended , they truly are a ray of sunshine . To be honest, the hotel service is not very good. Our two girls dragged two large boxes to the door and no one helped us in. No one in the hotel came to help. The threshold is relatively high. We ourselves one by one. I brought it in, and the room opened to us was also very small, and on the first floor, people walked up and down, and the swimming pool slapped the big place. I couldn’t do anything at all. Anyway, everything was average.

1. On 16/7/2022 when receiving the room, my room for 3 people needs to ask for an extra share to facilitate moving between members. The front desk staff said that the hotel with me only gave one key and did not agree to provide more to guests (this is the key of the word) 2. I wear a slipper to need to iron, the hotel does not have a service. 3. The phone call to the front desk is not clear. 4. On 17/7/2022 my whole family of 17 people departing to Hue at 8:30 am. Night 17/7/2022 the guide informed the hotel staff that the group had to leave early, so breakfast was needed to prepare at 6:30 am. However, when going down to the restaurant, the hotel has not yet opened and the service staff with a very bad attitude. 5. Staff are very rare smile, unprofessional, no quality in the hospitality industry.
