"The rooms were really spacious and the breakfast was delicious!! I would really recommend booking that if you‘re staying here. The only thing I have to criticize is that the gym is really small and it will quickly get crowded if multiple guests want to use it at once. There is only one multi use machine and treadmills, a bike and some weights which are way too heavy for most trainings. Overall we had a really great stay though!"

"I arrived late and was told there were no rooms available, so they wanted me to go to another hotel. After a long discussion, they managed to arrange a temporary room for me. The night shift front desk staff were pretty unhelpful, but the day staff were much better and more responsible. Personally, I don't think the front desk is the problem; it's an issue with the booking channel. The hotel doesn't have an elevator, so if you have a lot of luggage, you'll have to carry it yourself. The reception in Europe is often on the ground floor (level 0), so staying on the 3rd floor means a bit of a hike with bags. I wouldn't recommend this place if you have a language barrier, a lot of luggage, or are prone to late arrivals."

"the room is clean, the owner is gentle and responsive. The only problem is there is no sound proof at all - considering this is a general flat problem, we can still bear with many random noises coming from outside or inside the building. But there are two permanent residents who share the flat with us cooking and talking to each other from 23pm to 1am, just outside our room. we felt weird to tell them to keep quiet as we are the 'temporary guest'. there must be some rules to be set up if the owner wants to mix long-term and short-term stays."

"The hotel located just right beside the train station. The room was ok but the bathroom stinks. We stayed one night together with my family from Malaysia and my newly wedded German husband. Maybe because of security concerns, the night shift receptionist was asking my husband to tell him our room number, booking under whose name and show him the room key after he went down to smoke outside the hotel. My husband felt uncomfortable by the way he questioned."

"I booked the mixed 4-bed dorm as there were no other options in the city under €300/night. The location is very convenient and quiet, making it easy to get around by foot or public transport. The reception staff were extremely kind and helpful.
However, I didn’t feel fully comfortable sharing the room with three men, especially since there were no curtains for privacy on the beds. Cleanliness could be improved, as there was visible dust, the room wasn’t well lit, and the outlets and reading light at my bed didn’t work. The bathrooms also lacked ventilation and a bath mat, which caused humidity and puddles after showering.
For €74 per night, I expected more comfort and cleanliness. Still, this hostel has great potential if some improvements are made."

"I had an overall pleasant stay at the Pullman Hotel. The staff and facilities were good, and I enjoyed my time there. Unfortunately, on Thursday evening there was a water outage, so there was no running water until the next morning, and hot water was only restored around noon. This was inconvenient, but apart from that, my experience was positive."

"Location is amazing no problem but even there is no bottle of water at the rooms, paid more then 400 euros per night but not even 2eur water at the rooms.
Also all hotel evacuated because of fake fire alarm at 01.15am.. nobody came to rooms to evacuate or explain to problem just an alarm that’s all. Staff is nice but their numbers are so low they can not reach to everybody.."

Small supermarkets and small eateries are nearby, making daily groceries and meals convenient. The room was of moderate size, spacious enough for a single occupancy but a bit cramped for a double. The furniture and furnishings showed some signs of use, but were generally clean and tidy, and the bedding was perfectly soft, ensuring a pleasant sleep. The bathroom had a nice, dry/wet area with a reliable hot water supply. The toiletries were basic, but those with skincare needs are advised to bring their own. Regarding service, the front desk staff were friendly, efficient, and helpful. Check-in and check-out were both prompt and helpful. They patiently answered questions about directions to attractions, but they didn't proactively offer any extra touches (such as local recommendations or extended luggage storage). Breakfast is a simple buffet with basic items like bread, ham, eggs, coffee, and juice. The taste is quite satisfactory and can satisfy your hunger, but those who seek a richer meal may find it a bit monotonous. MM60917****Highly recommended! The room was excellent and very spacious. The bed was big enough for me and my child; since we booked for two adults and one child, they even provided an extra bed, so we had three beds in total! The location is fantastic. It's very close to the train station and Cologne Cathedral, just a 5-minute walk away, yet it's tucked away from the main hustle, which made us feel quite safe and secure. We took a stroll near the hotel and discovered a highly-rated restaurant. We tried some authentic German cuisine there, and it was quite good. Cologne is truly wonderful; we even got some photos just like Jay Chou's!
I highly recommend Trip.com! All our hotels for this Europe trip were booked through them, and it gave us great peace of mind. I compared their prices with several major platforms, and they truly offered the best rates. Highly, highly recommended!

GGuest UserOne night stay so all good with close to station. Room very small so bed was very small. Smallest double bed we got in our 5 weeks Europe trip.
Breakfast was good and that’s why we booked so not disappointed. Got room early so we got more time to walk around town. Fruits and water at reception.

It is especially just a short walk away from the new market and all the neighbouring restaurants, bars, and it is connected to the famous Cologne Cathedral and train stations. In a word, I am very satisfied with my three - day stay.

The hotel is just a few minutes’ walk from Cologne Central Station (Hauptbahnhof) and Cologne Cathedral (Kölner Dom). It’s incredibly convenient if you’re traveling by train or planning to explore the old town on foot. You can easily walk to shops, restaurants, and major attractions in under 10 minutes.
💰 Excellent Value for Money
For such a prime central location, the room rate was very affordable. It’s rare to find a hotel this close to the station and city center at such a low price. The room was basic but clean, and included breakfast, which made it an even better deal.
🛏️ Room Tips
Rooms facing the street or train station might get a bit noisy, so I recommend asking for a quiet room facing the courtyard if you’re a light sleeper.

GGuest UserStay was ok but even for 3* I found various factors very upsetting;
#1. Stairwell main fire escape ALL doors were wedged open!! Is this legal?!
#2. Entering the room my first impression as a stained seemingly worn out carpet looking disgusting!!
#3. Using the toilet I found I could not close the door because the toilet IS IN THE WAY!!! *******!!!
#4. The safe for my keys, money and passport was BROKEN and impossible to use - no handle, no batteries. This gave me a worried feeling throughout my stay!!!
#5. THE TELEVISION DID NOT WORK - and it seems HASNT WORKED FOR WEEKS!! Outrageous and in breach of your contract.
#6. A small but simple point to correct - a missing bedside lamp shade.
#7. Finally just a point of service with the lady serving breakfast noisily clipclooping about in her shoes as well as being surly and noisy with serving and clearing breakfast
