"Very clean and tidy hotel. Room was clean, stayed 2 nights and stayed extended 1 more night. Good shower pressure. Reasonably priced. About 10mins walk to Dali south ancient city entrance. Hotel facilities and amenities as shown in their photos. Gave a box of local pastries when I checked out. Cons: 1) Same breakfast all 3 days of my stay - pork bun, porridge, boiled egg, cut corn, local noodles soup and hot soya drink. Can’t expect your customer to eat the same food every morning isn’t it. 2) There were construction work going on opposite the hotel. They start drilling 8am, finish around 6pm daily. If you are not someone who can handle those kinda noise, please contact the hotel and ask upfront before booking whether the construction work is ongoing or not."

Environment: Although it's right by Erhai Lake (super convenient, next to the ecological corridor), it's quiet with few people. The overall decor is unique and stylish, and there's a viewing terrace on the rooftop, perfect for watching the sunrise. Cleanliness: Tidy and clean, with a pleasant air freshener. Facilities: There's a bar on the first floor serving specialty cocktails and coffee."

"I booked this place after reading the reviews about the above and beyond service, and the connection that guests were able to make with the owner of the accommodation. When there are hundreds of hotels to choose from, I value getting to know the humans behind a business. Unfortunately during my stay the main owner whom the reviews refer to, was away. The staff that was in place was helpful, but I felt gave me the one simplest solution to any question I had, rather than the best possible solution, or even options, for what I needed help with. I probably had an anomaly of an experience. The room was spacious and fairly clean. There was a bathroom window in the room that had no blinds or curtains, and the courtyard lights would stream into the room past 10pm, which meant that the room was not completely dark. I included a photo - the light is a lot more obvious and pervasive in a dark room. I had to sleep with an eye mask on, which thankfully, I had. I would suggest to the owners to put a curtain or some blinds up in the bathroom window. I would still recommend this hotel for its quiet location and proximity to the ancient city (8-10yuan Didi ride). Hopefully you'll have the lady boss around during your stay."

"The luckiest thing about coming to Dali was finding this beachfront guesthouse. 🌊 Environment: The view from the window is absolutely stunning, overlooking Erhai Lake. The sunset views are breathtaking, and the room is stylishly decorated, giving it a truly relaxing vacation feel. 🛏️ Facilities: The room is fully equipped with all necessary amenities. The bedding is soft and comfortable, and the toiletries are high-quality, with attention to detail throughout. 🧹 Cleanliness: The cleanliness is impeccable. The bedding is changed after each guest, and even the corners are spotless, making for a very safe and comfortable stay. 🤵 Service: The staff are incredibly welcoming and attentive throughout the entire process, from booking to check-in. They even helped us plan a fantastic itinerary and provided tips on avoiding common tourist pitfalls. The healing experience of staying at this beachfront guesthouse in Dali was made possible by the thoughtful touches of this place. I wholeheartedly recommend it; a five-star rating is well-deserved! "It’s our first trip to Dali, and I’m so charmed by this city. As foreigners who don’t speak the local language, travelling around can be challenging. But we were lucky to have the most wonderful hosts at this hotel. They took such good care of us that I couldn’t help writing this review. The rooms are extremely clean and spacious. It’s nice and quiet, perfect for anyone who wants to stay away from noise. When we checked in, I asked if we could see a room. They immediately upgraded us to a much larger one. The room was incredibly spacious and lovely, with mountain views right from the window. They attended to even my smallest needs. The two ladies working here are incredibly kind. I felt right at home with them. They always greeted me with warm, beautiful smiles. I would absolutely recommend this hotel to everyone. My husband and I are really happy and satisfied with the service. Give it a stay!"

"Great value for money! The two-bedroom suite is very spacious, and the two rooms are separated by the washroom area, ensuring privacy and a good night's sleep. The afternoon tea provided was delicious. The common area on the second floor is truly beautiful, with exquisite window views. We passed by it daily through a small door, and the kids always stopped to say hello to the fish. The laundry service with pickup and delivery is a thoughtful touch. The location is within the ancient town, yet just a short climb up some stairs leads to the main entrance, making getting around very convenient. Overall, it's highly recommended for families with children!"
