"Disappointing! The room we were given on the 2nd floor was dated, nothing like the photos shown in the reviews. The bed linens were clean, but the floor was dirty upon check in, even pieces of instant noodles laid between our beds. The bathroom was quite a disaster, rustic hose (new shower head though), moldy shower curtain and broken sink cabinet. It smelt bad on the first day and got better when we let the ventilation fan on 24/7. The positive experiences - located 10 minutes on foot away from the metro station, bus stops and eateries, two free bottled water daily, air conditioner and small fridge worked properly, and a nice brand new kettle. We made a full payment online prior to our trip and arrived late at night, otherwise would have changed hotel after the first night."

Yet, the moment you're back at the hotel, it's wonderfully quiet, ensuring a really restful sleep. The family room was spacious, more than enough for a family of three. There's the relaxed 360° Restaurant featuring fine food, live cooking stations and all-day dining and My China, with its classic Beijing, Sichuan and Hunan cuisine served in a relaxed setting. Those on tight schedules will appreciate this hotel's proximity to the airport and the 24-hour live flight feed displayed on screens in the hotel lobby.

"They have robots that deliver food, which is incredibly convenient and frankly, puts many hotels in the same category to shame. Don't even compare it to budget hotels like Qiu Guo or 7 Days Inn; go try to find how many international five-star brands offer this service. It's a huge plus, especially for an airport hotel, because most guests are already exhausted from traveling or on a layover. Any reduction in walking is a welcome relief. The shuttle to the airport is also very convenient, efficient, and punctual. Finally, regarding the rooms and hotel facilities, in a word, they are high-end, elegant, and sophisticated. The bedding, in particular, is unbelievably comfortable. I'll definitely be back!"

"Beijing Capital Airport T2/T3 Terminal pick-up and drop-off service: Once an hour, the driver helps with luggage, which is great. Hygiene: Pretty clean. Environment: The windowless room was dimly lit and stuffy. I stayed at Qiu Guo before and they provided facial towels, so I didn't bring any this time, but found none at the hotel, which was quite disappointing. It's less than half an hour to the airport, so for the price, it's still good value for money."

Hotel near Universal Beijing Resort and Sorrounding,Beijing
"Environment: The environment is really good. It's a small courtyard with flowers, plants, and even little cats. Service: The landlady's service attitude is excellent. Facilities: It's not suitable for those who like to sleep in because the soundproofing isn't great. I could hear other people talking and laughing even at 11 PM, and I could hear them again in the morning. After a tiring day at Universal Studios, I just wanted to get some good rest, but I was disturbed several times."

"Prime location, and the hotel is truly luxurious with excellent facilities. Even though it's an older property, it's very well-maintained. The cleanliness is top-notch, though the hairdryer felt a bit old and could use an upgrade. I used to always stay at the Regent across the street, but next time I'm in Beijing, I'll definitely choose this hotel again – the bed is much softer and more comfortable than at the Regent."

"I first visited Beijing in June 2024 and have been back five times since. After my initial trip, I stayed at this Park Plaza hotel for my second visit. Honestly, I didn't have high hopes when booking online, but the moment I stepped into the hotel for the first time, I was pleasantly surprised! The environment was much better than I expected! The staff were all very kind and enthusiastic! The whole vibe was fantastic! That's why every time I've returned to Beijing since, I've booked this hotel! The environment is comfortable, and the location is excellent, making it convenient to get anywhere. There are also many restaurants around the hotel, which is super handy! The reason I keep coming back to this hotel is because the entire atmosphere makes me feel incredibly comfortable, and there's a real sense of being at home. Especially last January, I had a medical issue. I called the front desk, and thanks to Mr. Xia Tongpu from the front desk, he helped me call an ambulance and got me to the hospital. While I was semi-conscious in the hospital, I vaguely saw Mr. Xia – who was a complete stranger to me at the time – busily helping me pay for expenses until my friends in Beijing arrived. He didn't leave until they got there! A year later, I went back to Beijing and stayed at their hotel again. This time, it happened to be a couple of extremely hot days! My health can't handle stuffy heat; I tend to get sick easily when it's hot. So, I called the front desk, and Mr. Xia Tongpu arranged for a cooling machine to be sent to my room. The next day, when I went for breakfast, it was particularly hot, and my body couldn't cope. My smartwatch kept alerting me! I quickly went back to my room to take my medicine and then looked for Mr. Xia Tongpu at the front desk because I saw him on my way to the restaurant. I asked him to send me some ice water, and he quickly arranged for a robot to deliver a cup of ice water. That wasn't enough, so I told him I needed some ice cubes, and again, he quickly arranged for a robot to deliver a box of ice cubes. This physical cooling prevented me from getting ill! I sincerely thank Mr. Xia Tongpu from the front desk; he helped me once again! If I ever go back to Beijing, I will definitely stay at this hotel again! Although my near-illness those two days was due to the extreme heat, it was also because the hotel wasn't yet able to provide air conditioning, as they have to comply with government regulations. So, it wasn't the hotel's fault. I'm mentioning the heat because I've seen many reviews giving this hotel a bad rating due to the hot weather, and I think it's unfair to the hotel. If they could provide air conditioning, I'm sure they would, but they also have to cooperate with government departments. I usually never write reviews, but I'm writing this honest account because I genuinely appreciate Mr. Xia from the front desk, and I also feel that those negative reviews are truly unfair to the hotel! I'm just speaking fairly!"

"My stay at the hotel was a genuinely relaxing and memorable experience, striking a great balance between comfort, style, and attentive service. From the moment I arrived, the atmosphere felt calm and welcoming, with a thoughtfully designed lobby that set the tone for the rest of the visit. The room itself was spacious, clean, and well-appointed, with modern furnishings and subtle touches that made it feel more personal than generic. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, and the large windows brought in plenty of natural light, creating a peaceful environment to unwind after a long day. Small details—like quality toiletries, soft linens, and a quiet ambiance—made a noticeable difference. Service throughout the stay was consistently excellent. Staff were approachable and professional, always ready to help without being intrusive. Check-in and check-out were smooth, and any questions I had were handled efficiently. The amenities added another layer of enjoyment. Whether it was the well-maintained fitness center, the relaxing pool area, or the on-site dining options, everything felt thoughtfully curated and easy to access. The restaurant in particular stood out, offering a menu that was both varied and well-executed. If there’s one minor drawback, it would be that some services came at a premium price, but the overall quality made it feel justified. Overall, this hotel delivered a comfortable, polished experience that I would happily return to. It’s an excellent choice for anyone looking for a restful stay with a touch of understated luxury."
