I chose the Hilton Garden Inn Kunming Economic Development Zone for my trip to Kunming, and overall it was a pretty hassle-free experience, highly recommended for families with kids! The hotel's location is convenient for getting to Kunming South Station and Dounan Flower Market by taxi or car, and there's a Walmart and a lifestyle plaza nearby for dining and snacks. The front desk staff proactively offered us kids' slippers, toothbrushes, and toilet seat covers when they saw we had a child with us. The room also had a parent-child sofa bed, and the cleanliness was quite good, which made us feel at ease with a child. The breakfast offered both Chinese and Western options with a good variety. What sets this hotel apart from most is that it's divided into two buildings, front and back, with a lawn garden in between, providing plenty of space for kids to play. The environment is excellent and also great for photos. For families traveling with kids, the biggest need is often laundry, and the hotel has a free self-service laundry room, which was a huge plus for our long journey! The service attitude was also great; the front desk staff would proactively greet us when we came and went, remind us about sun protection, and offer complimentary water.

After placing the order, I told the front desk to continue to clean the room and help me change things. The receptionist was friendly and professional, handling check-in and check-out quickly. The housekeeping was prompt and attentive, providing adequate service throughout. Excellent value for money! I'll definitely stay at Ji Hotel again next time!

I was extremely satisfied with my stay. The hotel environment was quite nice, and it's conveniently located with restaurants just a short walk away. It seems to have been recently renovated; the lobby and rooms looked brand new, as did the sofas and TVs. Most importantly, the air conditioning worked perfectly. It's been so cold in Kunming lately, and the other hotels I stayed in the past few days were so cold I almost caught a cold. Last night was very comfortable, especially since it's a new hotel. The heating came on quickly. I'm currently traveling in Yunnan and heading to Dali today, otherwise I would have stayed here again. The receptionist was very polite and provided excellent service, enthusiastically introducing local snacks and recommending attractions. I really liked them! I'll definitely stay here again when I return home. Very satisfied!
