Hotels near Liquor Mountain in Kyoto

The accommodation was clean and the staff was very friendly. We have a system to call a taxi at the counter. It's a long way to walk from the subway station to the accommodation, so it's better to take a taxi when you have a lot of luggage.

I stayed in a standard twin room, but I was able to spend a relaxing time in a room that was perfectly large even if I spread a large suitcase. There are also 6 coin laundry units, which is appreciated for long-term stays. It seems that a group of school excursion students was staying there, and I was worried that I could hear a slapstick noise at a fairly late time. There is also a convenience store, so it's very convenient, but it was very disturbing because a group of school excursion students was shopping and it was very crowded, and I didn't know how to use the self-checkout and was making a fuss. Staff Are very attentive and quick, they are able to assist you in English too if you can't communicate in Japanese. You can go from Kyoto Station by １ station and take a taxi within 1000 yen. When going to the guest room area from the front desk, there is an automatic door, and it will not open unless you hold the room key, so security is also solid. The elevator is also large. General hotel rooms have many dim orange lighting, but the main lighting of this hotel is white, so it was good. It was comfortable because I couldn't hear the noise in the next room, the upper floors and the corridor. You can rest assured that the large communal bath has a security card dedicated to women only. There were many kinds of breakfast buffets and it was very delicious. When I checked out, I was asked, ”Did you have any inconvenience in your room?”, but nothing was wrong. I heard about the inconvenience and thought it was to respond quickly. You can leave your baggage for free after check-out, so you can go sightseeing empty-handed. The only inconvenience I felt was ... If you are in a room near the JR track, it is far from the elevator to the room. It was difficult to walk with a heavy suitcase because it was quite fluffy floor material, probably because it was to improve the soundproofing of the corridor. Even if I walked normally, I felt tired feet walking on the sandy beach. It may be unavoidable due to the structure of the building, but it was a pity that I could hardly see the Kyoto Tower from the rooftop, but I could see the trains and Shinkansen, and the mountains 々 in the distance. Tables, chairs and benches are installed, so I think you can spend a pleasant time in spring and autumn when the climate is good. It was a very good hotel, so I would like to use it again.

It is an international brand but it runs like a local small hotel. Reservation team only know how to uphold the policy without any flexibility. I need to write seven emails to ask for a free cancellation due to a carefulness mistakes. They will make you feel inferior if you are not booked direct with its official channel. However they cannot offer the best price in official channel. Accorplus platinum member cannot enjoy any members’s privileges if you booked by other channels. Such arrangements is not the same as the premises located in Asia pacific. Late check out policy is rigid as well. Front desk claimed that customers need to pay 1000 yen for only half hour late check out. Overall staff cannot use English or Chinese, spoken or written to communicate well with customers. No services at all when they are not using the naive language. Price is an international brand one but services is not. You can very easy to find a better quality in Kyoto with the same price. The only good point is location is very good.

Hotel with focus on its onsen natural hot spring services. Very beautiful and well designed Japanese vibes. Large onsen services, free ramen supper and drinks. Great Traditional breakfast. Sadly the period I visited was peak season, so it can get very crowded. Overall, good location . Worth to revisit.

Strategic location besides Karasuma Oike station and 5mins walk to Karasuma station if you need to take the Hankyu line. Quaint area with nearby 7-11 for your snack runs and Starbucks on the main road. Good security too with hotel card access. Note that there is a main and annex building (2 buildings for different rooms selection).

Thousand Kyoto is a very good hotel modern and hip great services breakfast is average so can actually go for budget breakfast at station instead. Otherwise happy with the hotel generally! Would be nice if can offer hot bath at no extra charges for hotel guests.
