This was my first ever booking and visit to China and I have bit of a mixed feeling about this booking. When I was booking from overseas, a single room option popped up with relatively good price Australian $ 286 for 5 nights. The room had photos which shows that its pretty small room with single bed which was OK with me as I was solo traveller. But the pics did not show that its not only squat bathroom but shower fit right on top of the squat basin. So one has to literally stand on toilet to take a shower. That arrangement was unbearable for me. So next morning I paid additional $126 Australian dollars to switch room which made this Australian $400 dollars for 5 night which is bit pricey for 2 star hotel. I feel that displaying the single room option with out showing toilet situation was bit misleading. On plus pint, the hotel staff was supper friendly and cooperative, The breakfast was very good for 18 Chinese yuan Staff well accommodated all questions and aways willing to help. The location is great quite near to subway. The double room they gave me was good size, the bedding was clean and general cleanliness was fine. The bathroom is bit old and run down with some mould around sink but it had all amanitas and shower facilities were good so it was king of OK. At the end I feel I had paid bit more then its worth. Finally my over all experience was fine as result of great customer service. The staff efficiently used translation tools and communicated well.

Walking along the temple wall of Fayuan Temple and following the sound of the bell, the rich fragrance of lilac flowers comes through the temple wall. In an auspicious place in the southeast of Fayuan Temple, the Zen-filled Huayun·Lilac Hotel was built here. As the Buddhist saying goes, "One flower, one world; one leaf, one bodhi". The lilac trees in Fayuan Temple were transplanted from the imperial palace of the Qing Dynasty. They left the inner courtyard of the palace walls, abandoned the worldly prosperity of the imperial family, put down the mundane world, and took root in the ancient temple. In Huayun·Lilac Hotel, there is also a lilac tree planted. Listening to the morning bells and evening drums, and hearing the Sanskrit sounds of the ancient temple, it can be said that it is in the same vein as the lilac in Fayuan Temple. Living here allows the soul to enjoy a kind of secluded peace. A thousand years have passed in a flash, and time is always moving forward. Huayun·Lilac Hotel not only inherits the Zen meaning of the ancient temple, but is also connected with modern fashion. The hotel is a perfect interpretation of art and taste, with a simple and fashionable design style, a generous and comfortable living environment, elegance and refinement, providing humanistic care services, and conveying warm feelings. Living here, you can forget time and savor the quiet moments of the years. The lilac flowers are in bloom, exquisite and beautiful, not only with bright colors, but also with rich fragrance. Although the flowers are a small cluster, their quality is supreme and their fragrance is diffuse, just like the Huayun Lilac Hotel, with its own noble feelings, not forgetting where it came from, not changing its original intention, creating a place for physical and mental rest that perfectly integrates Zen and modernity, allowing worldly travelers to enjoy inner peace and comfort. Although the lilac is small, it can be fragrant. The history of the vermilion temple wall is precious, and the fragrance of time is condensed. The Huayun Lilac Hotel welcomes guests from all over the world here, regardless of where they came from or when they return!

Nostalgia S Hotel (Beijing Tianqiao)is located at Building 13, Xijing Road, Xicheng District, adjacent to the cultural heritage of the millennium old capital, with a unique geographical location. It's only a 10 minute walk from Exit A of Tianqiao Station on Line 8 subway; A 15 minute walk from Exit C of Hufangqiao on Line 7, two subway arteries connect the hustle and bustle of Beijing with fireworks, allowing you to easily reach various parts of the city. The Tianqiao area where the hotel is located is the birthplace and spiritual totem of Beijing's folk performing arts culture. A hundred years ago, the magnificent scene of "Wine Flag Playing Drum in Tianqiao City, How Many Tourists Don't Remember Their Homes" was staged here, with the sound of cheers, the startled sound of tea house storytelling, and the silk and bamboo orchestra in the theater weaving together the most vivid picture of old Beijing's common people. To this day, this place is still immersed in a unique pedestrian bridge culture, where tradition and modernity intersect and collide. Surrounding attractions are numerous, institutions are gathered, and commercial vitality and humanistic atmosphere complement each other. As the third generation upgrade of the Time Walk brand and also a cultural themed hotel under the group, the hotel deeply integrates the cultural heritage of old Beijing with a high-end nostalgic aesthetic style. Stepping into it feels like crossing time and space, recreating the past glory of the pedestrian bridge. In the misty atmosphere of Tianqiao culture, the hotel adds a sense of weight and charm. Every afternoon, there are two professional lectures on Tianqiao culture, one at 1:30 pm and the other at 5:00 pm. From the legendary stories of the Eight Eccentrics of Tianqiao to the inheritance of intangible cultural heritage skills, from various aspects of the city to folk customs, every guest can immerse themselves in the vicissitudes of Beijing's thousand year history and the unique charm of its cultural customs, touching the soul of old Beijing in the cracks of time. In terms of health care, the hotel spares no effort. The newly introduced domestic brand Baicaoji series of high-end cleaning and care products not only have a soft and non irritating texture, but also have a fully enclosed bottle design, making your use more reassuring. Xilinmen high-end bedding, paired with zero pressure pillows and mattresses, ensures your sleep quality in all aspects. Walnut solid wood furniture further enhances the healthy quality of the living environment. In addition, the hotel provides daily thoughtful snacks such as AD calcium milk and white rabbit milk candy, instantly evoking beautiful memories of a worry free childhood. The late night cafeteria is open at 21:00 every night, providing a warm night snack to dispel the fatigue of your journey. The room is also equipped with intelligent facilities such as Xiaodu smart terminals and electric curtains, allowing you to enjoy the convenience and comfortable experience brought by technology. Time Walk has branches in 8 cities across the country, including first tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, and Tianjin. Since its establishment, the brand has always focused on "generous management, service first" as its operational focus, and has gained the support and love of hundreds of thousands of customers on various platforms.
The hotel staff service and amenities are wonderful. The full hotel laundry service helped to save a lot of time. Happy with the stay and breakfast. They also helped to group all your parcels according the phone number on the parcels, you do not need to find your parcels yourself in their store room. Even though there is a walking distance to the nearby mrt, I enjoyed the walk in the neighbourhood. Found great local food in the neighbouring streets. It is also near to the Temple of Heaven .All in all, will definitely stay again if I revisit Beijing.

GGuest UserThe location is pretty convenient; we passed by it constantly. I'm not sure how far it is to the subway station since we took taxis everywhere and didn't use the metro, but I did notice a subway station nearby. The room was a bit small, but the staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic. The breakfast was also quite good. Overall, I'm satisfied.

AAnonymous UserLocation was a really plus point. Hotel is clean and the room is as per what is stated on the website. I used the washer and dryer and you can tell they are clean and well maintained too. Clothes smell really good after the wash.
Service was excellent. Staff can help with your laundry and accept your taobao parcels.
Just note that the restaurant is currently under renovation so there is limited breakfast selection. But the staff told me if I think the choices are too limited, they can always do a refund. Happy that they are being flexible. Overall, I am happy with the hotel and will stay here again if I ever come back to Beijing again.

”Our stay at Grand Concordia was excellent, but their post-stay service was even more impressive. We needed help forwarding our stored luggage to Hohhot, and Mr. Don Chao was incredibly helpful. He coordinated everything professionally and kept us updated until our bags arrived safely. The level of trust and helpfulness we experienced here is world-class. If you are looking for a hotel that truly looks after its guests, this is the one. A huge thank you to Mr. Don Chao for his exceptional assistance🫶🏻👊🏻🎉

AAnonymous UserWhat a pleasant surprise! Every detail in the room made us feel incredibly comfortable. My son especially loved the setup of the lounge area; the wall art and lighting were perfectly matched, creating a stylish ambiance. The kitchen was an absolute bonus, fully equipped with a Siemens dishwasher and washing machine, and all the dishes and pots were neatly organized. Traveling with a child, I didn't have to worry about a thing – it was so convenient to prepare baby food or warm up meals for him. It truly felt like home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Beijing!
GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel has an absolutely superb location!
I'm not sure why it's called a 'restaurant' (饭店), I didn't specifically ask. I also didn't see any F&B department, so maybe it's been repurposed?
Facilities: The decor is very simple and basic. Nothing too special, but it's very clean.
Hygiene: Quite clean. The room was thoughtfully arranged and tidied, and there was even a small tea set.
Environment: The exterior looks beautiful, but the interior decoration is just average.
Service: Excellent. They specifically called me before I arrived to confirm and mentioned that the room had a slight smell of disinfectant, in case I minded. I didn't smell it when I got there. But I was really touched and warmed by the front desk's gesture. I especially want to commend the young man at the front desk; he was very conscientious and responsible.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the area. It's incredibly convenient, very close to the Forbidden City. Plus, as soon as you step out of the alley, you're at Longfu Temple. Pretty good!
