I had a wonderful stay at The Yard Tian’anmen in Beijing and would absolutely recommend it. The location is excellent—right on Qianmen Street, yet tucked away enough to guarantee peace and quiet, which made a huge difference after long days exploring the city. It’s also within walking distance of Tian’anmen Square and very close to a metro station, with plenty of restaurants nearby. The staff were incredibly kind and helpful. They all spoke good English and even offered me a complimentary room upgrade, which was a lovely surprise and much appreciated. The room itself was beautifully designed in an elegant, contemporary Chinese style. It felt both stylish and comfortable. The bathroom was spacious and well-equipped, including a bathtub—perfect for relaxing. Another great feature is the hotel’s internal restaurant, which is open 24 hours. Super convenient, especially after a late return. Cleanliness was excellent, with daily housekeeping keeping everything spotless. Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!

the location is superb, near to Forbidden City attractions. walking distance to Wangfujing malls as well. our family bedroom is very spacious. love it so much, everyone is comfortable and we feel like home. the staffs are very friendly, from the cleaner to the receptionist. we also go complimentaey 1 carton bottles of water coz i asked for it! a true happiness, indeed 😀 it's unfortunate there is some construction going on while we were there, esp at the Level 8 foyer area and surrounding the building as well. quite an eyesore view. nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay there. no regrets at all!

An outstanding hotel, my favourite in Beijing and one of the best I have stayed in anywhere. It’s only five minutes’ walk from Beijing Railway Station, in a characterful Hutong neighbourhood, and you can see the trains from some rooms.  The service is brilliant, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They speak Chinese, English and some Russian, and helped me check in even though I arrived at 1am after a late flight. The food in the restaurant is excellent, especially the breakfast.  The rooms are simple, comfortable and a little bit old-fashioned, but I liked this. The price is very reasonable and the beds are comfortable and clean. I particularly liked the historical-themed tea mugs in the room, which you can buy at the front desk. As the former home of Edgar Snow, located on Armour Factory Alley and just a few minutes from the Ming Walls, it is a must-visit for history enthusiasts.

Ibis Hotel was conveniently situated on the famous Dashilan Street in Qianmen, surrounded by a wide range of culinary selection, ranging from street foods, casual small restaurants, to renowned restaurant brands. If you are in Beijing to try Peking Duck, you'll have plenty of brands to select from right next to your doorstep. Famous attractions like Tiananmen Square, Forbidden City, and Temple of Heaven are also close by. The only downside was that the hotel is located on a pedestrian street, hence cars cannot stop in front of the hotel & you'll have to carry your luggages across the street. The nearest MRT exit also only had stairs which made it hard if you have a lot of luggages/someone with mobility issues in your group. Nevertheless, the hotel itself was nice & frontdesk service was very helpful!

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and truly enjoyed every moment. The room was comfortable, clean, and very well maintained, making it a perfect place to rest after a long day. What made our experience exceptional was the outstanding service, especially from Mr. Liu Gang. He went above and beyond to make sure our family was comfortable. He thoughtfully prepared items we didn’t even request, such as a deep pillow, children’s toothpaste, and children’s slippers. It was such a pleasant surprise and showed great attention to detail. He also consistently checked on us and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine care really made a difference and made our stay even more memorable. Highly recommended, and we will definitely come back again!

The hotel's location is absolutely fantastic! It's within walking distance of Wangfujing Street and Tiananmen Square, and the subway entrance is only about a 3-minute walk away, making it super convenient to get anywhere. The room was clean and tidy, and the bedding was so soft I slept soundly all night. All the toiletries were provided. The front desk staff were very friendly and efficient with check-in, and they even proactively recommended sightseeing tips. The breakfast spread was extensive, with both Chinese and Western options, and the coffee was delicious. Excellent value for money – I'll definitely stay here again next time I'm in Beijing!

The location is excellent, with a subway station just a hundred meters away. It's very close to Wangfujing Street, Peking Union Medical College Hospital, and Oriental Plaza. The staff were okay, a bit cool but still helpful. The hotel is a bit old, and the facilities show their age. However, the room was clean and comfortable, and the bedding was just right—not too soft, not too firm. The breakfast was delicious with a wide variety of options, though mostly Western. The taste was great. The restaurant staff were very warm and friendly. We had a minor issue on the first night, but it was quickly resolved. Overall, it offers great value for money and I'd recommend it.

Beijing was the first stop in my trip to China with my dad. And this hotel set the bar pretty high for the rest of the hotels in the trip. The place itself was really nice it all looked very modern with some interesting touches. The room was really good too very spacious with a sofa, table, big bathroom, the only downside is that we asked for 2 single beds but instead got a double one but the rest of the amenities of the hotel made up for it. I have to mention the gym, wow it was really good equipped, very spacious and amazing views, even though I was walking around Beijing all day I couldn’t wait to go to the hotel to go to the gym and pool. The pool was quite big, although I expected more rooftop it was closed because we went in march which makes sense. The only downside I would say is the location, it is a bit far from the main attractions and railway stations, but getting Didi in Beijing was so cheap I can’t complain. I also found that the city is so comfortable to go around cycling. It was an amazing experience and you can rent the bikes everywhere with Alipay or WeChat. The hotel was also in a good area to get good food from anywhere, if you want Chinese or European food it is close to really good restaurants. While also having fast chains and breaks fast spots nearby.

They were very proactive in communicating and helped us upgrade our room type. Our room was a bit cold, and the front desk staff thoughtfully brought us a space heater. The hotel is located right next to Wangfujing Street, which is incredibly convenient. Both the front desk and the housekeeping staff were very patient and provided excellent service! It's also very close to Peking Union Medical College Hospital, and when they found out we wanted to make tea, they provided us with plenty of water!

GGuest UserLovely hotel to stay at in an absolute prime location in the middle of the hutongs and a 1 min walk from Qian Men Street. Also walkable distance to Tian’an men Square and the Palace Museum. Theres plenty of food spots around and it’s nice and quiet in the evenings. The staff was incredibly kind and also helped us arrange reservations. The room was spacious and very clean. Free water, teas, snacks and fruits 24/7 in the lobby area. Very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Also lucky enough to have booked the only room with a balcony overlooking the hutongs. Absolutely no complaints.

GGuest UserThis stay was a last-minute decision because my flight was cancelled that night. We're not familiar with Beijing at all and it was so late, we didn't know which hotel to choose. Luckily, I've always liked the HUAZHU brand, and I figured it wouldn't disappoint. The overall experience after checking in was excellent! First, the service was incredibly thoughtful. From my initial phone call to checking in at the front desk, the staff were all very enthusiastic and efficient. Second, although the room was small, the facilities were very new, with plenty of power outlets and ports. The bedding was soft and comfortable, and the water pressure in the bathroom was great. I particularly loved the 'hand hand' wooden smoky-scented toiletries. The soundproofing in the room was also excellent. Additionally, the hotel's location is very convenient, especially for an overnight layover. It's right by the Airport Express and Sanyuanqiao subway station, just about 200 meters from the exit. There's also a large shopping center, Phoenix City, nearby with many high-quality restaurants. The only minor issue might be that the heating was a bit too high and couldn't be adjusted down. But considering the city, location, convenience, and both soft and hard amenities, I can easily give it 5 stars! Highly recommended!

JJHW918This hotel is in a perfect spot—steps away from Jinyu Hutong station and Wangfujing malls. The rooms are spacious and clean, featuring strong water pressure and very comfortable pillows. The best part? They accept Taobao packages and deliver them (and ******* orders) straight to your door using a robot! The staff are incredibly accommodating. The only downside was that the restaurant was closed for renovations, and the laundry room could use a few more machines to avoid wait times. Still, a 10/10 experience and highly recommended!

CCaseBooked this place because it was relatively cheaper than some other places that are smaller and farther. Room was huge, as we were just two friends so we have enough space for both of us. There was a laundry room on our floor you can use, and they have a robot to deliver food from your app deliveries. Location was, kinda far from the main attractions but thankfully didi is cheap. They change towels everyday but we noticed that the floors are sometimes not mopped enough for our standard but it was clearly passable. They have centralized air-conditioning so you can’t make it cooler on days that are warm unless it’s their summer season so you have to note that. Overall, they were nice to us with our queries and requests. Room’s spacious and they also have good breakfast option!

GGuest UserGot an upgrade! This trip was such a pleasant surprise. The staff here are absolutely wonderful. The location is superb, right on Qianmen Street, with a Lawson convenience store just across the road. It's on the central axis of the city, and you can walk to Tiananmen Square, the Forbidden City, and the National Museum in about ten minutes – everything is so close! This made my trip incredibly convenient. When you're traveling, a good location is key, and since it's off-peak season, the price was great. Definitely excellent value for money. The staff are also fantastic and truly think of their guests; they even helped me cancel a more expensive booking to get a cheaper one.

CCharlesjuranbeizhanyongThis is my Nth stay at this hotel. I've been staying here since 2017 when I applied for my US visa, and for the past few years, it's been my go-to when transferring to high-speed rail after returning to China. First, the pros: the rooms are spacious, it offers great value for money, has a swimming pool, and the rooms even have bathtubs – it's hard to find these amenities in hotels at a similar price point. It's an established star-rated hotel, and it's very close to Beijing Chaoyang High-Speed Railway Station and not far from Capital Airport. You can also get a late check-out until 2 PM (they've improved this significantly; it wasn't great back in 2017). The service is also very good. Now for the cons: being an older hotel, the facilities are relatively dated. In the room I stayed in this time, the bathroom door wouldn't close, but since I was alone, it wasn't a big deal. The next day, when I took a shower, only hot water came out, and I couldn't adjust it to cold. However, I was in a rush to pack and check out, so I just quickly finished my shower without contacting staff – I'm sure they could have resolved it. A 500 deposit is required upon check-in, even if you book through platforms like Trip.com or Fliggy, credit-based waiver isn't an option. Once, I didn't have a domestic card, but they accepted Japanese Yen as a deposit, and I was able to check in smoothly. I saw staff doing a live stream in the lobby; I assume booking through Douyin might be even cheaper.

YYuyeyoumingAfter looking at three or four hotels, I decided to stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing for my trip to Beijing, mainly because of its proximity to the subway, making it convenient for getting around. The hotel itself is quite grand, and while the service is very traditional, it gets the job done. I contacted the hotel in advance and asked the front desk to book a room on the highest floor within the same price range, with a view of the CCTV Tower. They managed to arrange all of this, which I was very pleased with. However, the hotel is a bit old-fashioned; if you order takeout, there's no robot or staff to deliver it, so you have to go down and pick it up yourself. The room itself is quite spacious and also has a traditional feel. One quirky thing is the power outlets: one nightstand has an outlet, but the other doesn't. This made it impossible to charge my phone while lying in bed, so I had to go to the supermarket the next day to buy an extension cord. Also, the power outlets are quite old-fashioned, not the new national standard, and many of them are loose. The bathroom has two showerheads, a main one and a side one. I assume the side one is for people sitting down, but one thing they might not have considered is where to put clean clothes for changing. If you put them inside, they'll get wet during the shower. If you put them outside, isn't it a bit awkward to walk out naked? The breakfast buffet at the hotel is quite good, with a wide variety of dishes. The mini hash browns, in particular, taste exactly like the ones sold at McDonald's and KFC. Finally, I want to especially thank the bespectacled housekeeper on the 24th floor. Her service was excellent, she was very polite, and the room was cleaned impeccably. She left a particularly good and warm impression. I didn't take many photos of the hotel, so consider these for reference. Also, the Hema Supermarket is about 600-700 meters west of the hotel, which is convenient for buying things.
