It is unbelievable to find such an amazing Chinese style hotel in Dashilan area. We booked two rooms with two kids, hotel staff kindly provided extra supplies for us. It’s so easy to find delicious foods and souvenirs around, a vey satisfying stay experience. Moreover, kids really liked ancient garments and calligraphy activities. One suggestion is more clothes options would be better.

We checked in on Sunday morning and were warmly welcomed by a helpful receptionist who assisted with luggage storage. Hotel room is clean, spacious, and well-furnished.
The hotel location is great, between Tiananmen Square and Wangfujing. However, scaffolding was set up around the building due to repair works. Despite this, the staff handled things well—helping us change rooms, fixing minor issues, and even returning items we left behind.
A staff member named Baozi stood out for his professionalism and helpfulness, especially when assisting us with Didi transport for our group and luggage.
Breakfast was average but convenient, starting at 6:30 a.m., though we missed it one day due to an early trip to the Badaling Great Wall.

Really adorable setup! The hotel is located close by the South rail station, but it is kind of in this hidden alleyway behind a residential neighborhood. The hotel room itself was very clean, beds are soft, and the staff was very kind (they even gave both our rooms an upgrade!). The design of the hotel is also super vintage and cute!! They also have a complimentary breakfast which is convenient, and there are also a lot of restaurants near by. However, the showers were a bit strange. There was a curtain, but no floor barrier blocking the shower water from the rest of the bathroom. The entire bathroom becomes flooded whenever you shower (though it does drain eventually).

During my stay with family at the Sunworld Hotel in Beijing, I really enjoyed my stay. In the 7 days we stayed in April, I had quite the utmost quality of every hotel in the district. The twin room we stayed was very nice with 2 queen size beds that can be joined together to form a very spacious bed fit for a couple and a kid. The interior of the room was recently renovated with comfy beds and well deaigned bathroom. I would like to thank the cleaning lady on the 8th floor who would systematically clean rooms with the best quality experience, each day. Next, about the food for breakfast. I really enjoyed the food they offer at the hotel buffet, with lots of really cool options, such as noodles cooked on the spot, bread, fruit with watermelon and banana, and yogurt. I also appreciate the location of the hotel, with the site near the major sites, such as the Wangfujing shopping district, Forbidden City, Tiananmen Square, and Jingshan Park. I recommend this hotel because it is close to two metro stations in Beijing, Line 8's Jinyu Hutong and Line 5's Dengshikou, and the facilities are very high quality. It will be more perfect to include a running machine in the fitness room.

Location is good, although car couldn’t drive in but short walking distance to main road is fine.
Staff is friendly and helpful, recommended us to take level 1 room which is very convenient to get hot water from lobby.
Breakfast choices are limited, only grab some in the morning before start our itinerary of the day.
Hotel amenities with clothes dryer is an important factor for me to book this hotel (Per trip and hotel information, it should have clothes dryer), however we were informed the clothes dryer is spoilt after we washed the clothes, which is a minus point for me. Hope hotel can take note on this feedback.

This hotel was the perfect choice for my Beijing trip! The location is absolutely fantastic – right in the middle of a lively district, making it super easy to explore and find great food. Yet, the moment you're back at the hotel, it's wonderfully quiet, ensuring a really restful sleep. The family room was spacious, more than enough for a family of three. Housekeeping was prompt and thorough, keeping the room spotless every day. The bar staff were incredibly friendly and proactively recommended sightseeing routes and a delicious Peking duck restaurant – so thoughtful! It's also very close to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square, with excellent transport links. Overall, an amazing experience; I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Beijing! Peking Yard Boutique Hotel is located in the key protection area of the old Beijing Hutong. It is a century-old quadrangle building, which was originally the residence of a eunuch in the Qing Dynasty. It is close to Lama Temple, Nanluoguxiang, Duan Qirui Executive Government (Qing Dynasty) and other attractions in the north, and Dongdan and Wangfujing Street Market in the south. In addition to the strong commercial atmosphere, it is also surrounded by many former residences of celebrities, giving it a unique Hutong cultural atmosphere.
The location is excellent and the transportation is convenient. It takes about 3 minutes to walk to the Line 5 subway station. The straight-line distance to the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square is about 2 kilometers. Take the Line 5 subway to directly reach the National Stadium Bird's Nest, Water Cube, Temple of Heaven, and Summer Palace. It takes about 10 minutes to drive to Houhai Sanlitun Bar Street.
Peking Yard Boutique Hotel is committed to creating a boutique homestay with Beijing Hutong characteristics, a "Wizard of Oz" hidden in the Hutong. All guest rooms use Bulgari mattresses, water purification devices, dry and wet separation in the guest rooms, all bright windows for lighting, and a panoramic view of the garden. There are also shared office coffee bars and garden terraces, allowing the exquisite space to soothe interesting souls.

Overall, it's pretty good! 😊 It's also convenient for getting around, quite close to Zhangzizhong Road subway station. As you walk in, there's a multi-functional area with a bar and the front desk, and the staff are all really welcoming. Then, you walk through a restaurant filled with greenery and flowers to the accommodation area in the back, which has a key card access for a good level of privacy. The room is a bit compact, haha, but since I'm here to travel, the room is just for sleeping, so it's perfectly adequate.

The location is very convenient, close to Beijing's city center and JinYu Hutong subway station, making it easy to get around with elderly family members and kids. The hotel service deserves a perfect 10 out of 10; the staff are patient with children and attentive to guests. I'd definitely stay here again if I have the chance!

I brought my child to Beijing for a trip during Chinese New Year, mainly because my kid was set on seeing the flag-raising ceremony at Tiananmen Square. This hotel is just one subway stop from Tiananmen East Station, so it's super convenient if you're planning to go see the flag-raising. Even though it's surrounded by residential areas, it's not noisy at all, and the other guests were very considerate. For this price and location during the New Year period, it was quite a good deal 😊.
Everyone, from the greeters in the lobby to the front desk staff, cleaning ladies, and servers, was very kind and spoke softly. They were also very generous with bottled water. The heating in the room was excellent, and they even provided a humidifier, which was especially needed for us southerners.
Just a short walk from the hotel, in the next block, you'll find Xidan Joy City, Guangzhou Building, Hanguang Department Store, and more. There's a wide variety of food, shopping, and entertainment options, all within easy reach. The Juqi restaurant on the hotel's B1 level is delicious 😋, and guests even get a discount. The hotel breakfast is simple but filling, and the steamed buns are tasty.
What truly deserves special praise is that on New Year's Eve, the hotel thoughtfully sent up a plate of dumplings 🥟, a dish of Laba garlic, and a bag of melon seeds and peanuts 🥜. These little touches were really heartwarming. I especially recommend the hotel's delicious dumplings 😋 – definitely order them! If you're feeling lazy, ordering takeout to the hotel is also very convenient, as nearby restaurants deliver quickly.
Beijing is huge, and we were constantly on the go every day, so coming back to the hotel and lying down was incredibly relaxing, and we slept wonderfully. We stayed for an entire week without switching hotels, and it was a very comfortable and pleasant stay. My kid even said they want to stay at Fuyoujie again next time we visit Beijing! Remember to keep up the good work, hotel, and don't get complacent!

The Jingshan Garden Hotel-Forbidden City (Hong Qiang Jingshan Huayuan Jiudian) offers a slightly more modern take on the traditional courtyard style found around Beijing. The pagodas of Jingshan Park across the street are visible from the hotel while the Forbidden City is just a short distance away. Located in the hutong, the hotel stays quiet despite its location in the center of the city. The hotel should not be confused with the Red Wall Garden Hotel, located in Shijia Hutong.Traditional doors and windows look out onto the hotels courtyard from guestrooms equipped all the standard amenities as well as in-room safes.Guests may enjoy Chinese foods at the on-site dining outlet. For those looking for something more social, there is also a bar and a teahouse on the premises.
GGuest User2026.04.11
The Jingshan Garden hotel is absolutely charming. Pretty and quiet courtyard location at the edge of the hutong. The location is a little challenging because DiDis come from one direction and they can get stuck in the narrow hutongs. It's a bit of a hike to a metro station but easy to grab a bus to the Forbidden City and other nearby locations. Finally succeeding at unlocking bikes on our last day was key. Best of all you can just stroll out to enjoy Jingshan Park at any time.
The rooms are spacious and have lots of nice touches. We especially appreciated the room's multiple attractive lighting options. The courtyard cherry tree was in bloom and we enjoyed our self-catered breakfast there. The hotel breakfast may not satisfy continental or American travelers as it was a little light on western options.
Staff is friendly and helpful but English is pretty limited.

Atmosphere in the hotel is so cozy and authentic, feels like you live in the old China town. In the courtyards there are tables where you can chill and have a morning cup of coffee.
Hotel staff was very willing to help, even though I don’t speak Chinese they went out of their way to help us with every question we had.

GGuest UserThe location is pretty convenient; we passed by it constantly. I'm not sure how far it is to the subway station since we took taxis everywhere and didn't use the metro, but I did notice a subway station nearby. The room was a bit small, but the staff were all very friendly and enthusiastic. The breakfast was also quite good. Overall, I'm satisfied.

AAnonymous UserLocation was a really plus point. Hotel is clean and the room is as per what is stated on the website. I used the washer and dryer and you can tell they are clean and well maintained too. Clothes smell really good after the wash.
Service was excellent. Staff can help with your laundry and accept your taobao parcels.
Just note that the restaurant is currently under renovation so there is limited breakfast selection. But the staff told me if I think the choices are too limited, they can always do a refund. Happy that they are being flexible. Overall, I am happy with the hotel and will stay here again if I ever come back to Beijing again.
AAichisongshudebaxisongziThe location is super convenient, right near the south gate of Qianmen Street scenic area. It's just a 100-meter walk to Exit A of Zhushikou Subway Station, making it easy to get to Tiananmen, the Forbidden City, and Universal Studios. This street also boasts a lot of great food options like Nanmen Hotpot, Fangzhuan Factory, and Mendian Roubing, all just a few hundred meters away. Some restaurants even offer discounts if you show your hotel room card, which is perfect for a dinner after a long day of sightseeing. Plus, the hotel's decor is very distinctive, and they offer handicraft activities and traditional cheongsams. I didn't have time to experience them this trip due to a tight schedule, but I'll definitely be back to try them next time.

AAnonymous UserWhat a pleasant surprise! Every detail in the room made us feel incredibly comfortable. My son especially loved the setup of the lounge area; the wall art and lighting were perfectly matched, creating a stylish ambiance. The kitchen was an absolute bonus, fully equipped with a Siemens dishwasher and washing machine, and all the dishes and pots were neatly organized. Traveling with a child, I didn't have to worry about a thing – it was so convenient to prepare baby food or warm up meals for him. It truly felt like home. I'll definitely choose this place again next time I'm in Beijing!
IIris-kaI recently stayed at the Grand Concordia Hotel and had a memorable experience. We booked two double beds, which, while comfortable, were a bit on the smaller side for a family of four. The hotel has an old-world charm that creates a unique vibe; it's definitely a place with character!
One of the highlights was the breakfast spread, which was impressive and offered a variety of options to start the day right. We particularly enjoyed the fresh fruits and local delicacies.
The swimming pool was another fantastic feature. It’s worth noting that you need to wear a swim hat, which they sell for 20 CNY. The pool area was well-maintained, and we made good use of it during our stay.
Overall, Grand Concordia offers a blend of history and modern amenities that made our trip enjoyable. I would recommend it to those looking for something a bit different in Beijing.
GGuest UserLianjie Hotel is a well-established star-rated hotel in the Changying area, and it's my go-to whenever I'm on a business trip. The rooms are especially spacious, the facilities are excellent, and it's always clean and tidy. The breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. It offers great value for money.

GGuest UserThis was my first stay at the Grand Millennium Beijing, and it exceeded my expectations by far. It wasn't overly crowded, so it felt very peaceful and quiet. The swimming pool is a major highlight, integrated seamlessly with the gym on a different floor, creating a spacious, high-ceilinged area with a Southeast Asian vibe. I encountered many Hong Kongers there, from business travelers in the elevator to an elderly couple in the executive lounge; they were all very humble and friendly. The surrounding area boasts a wide variety of restaurants, and the Fortune Plaza Mall is practically a canteen for Beijing's white-collar workers. The night view is also top-notch, with the CCTV Headquarters lit up beautifully. A pleasant surprise was bumping into a celebrity while working out – the 'rooster among roosters,' haha. The Grand Millennium is fantastic, giving me every reason to return. The male manager who handled my check-in was very gracious, and the service was just perfect.
AAnonymous UserThis hotel has an absolutely superb location!
I'm not sure why it's called a 'restaurant' (饭店), I didn't specifically ask. I also didn't see any F&B department, so maybe it's been repurposed?
Facilities: The decor is very simple and basic. Nothing too special, but it's very clean.
Hygiene: Quite clean. The room was thoughtfully arranged and tidied, and there was even a small tea set.
Environment: The exterior looks beautiful, but the interior decoration is just average.
Service: Excellent. They specifically called me before I arrived to confirm and mentioned that the room had a slight smell of disinfectant, in case I minded. I didn't smell it when I got there. But I was really touched and warmed by the front desk's gesture. I especially want to commend the young man at the front desk; he was very conscientious and responsible.
I'll definitely stay here again next time I visit the area. It's incredibly convenient, very close to the Forbidden City. Plus, as soon as you step out of the alley, you're at Longfu Temple. Pretty good!
