Hotels near Chiayi Station, Chiayi City

We just checked out of Spring 12 house, a true gem in central Chiayi. The owners have taken one of the lovely old wooden houses and really lovingly restored it. It’s a real piece of architectural and cultural heritage, but also at the same time very tastefully equipped with all modern facilities and comforts. There is even a little machine dispensing free Asahi beer. The owners were also extremely welcoming and helpful both on check-in and check-out. The location is also great - it’s down a narrow alley so there’s no traffic noise but it’s just a few steps away from the main shopping, eating and night market areas. All in all, a truly unique and wonderful place to stay.

This is a new hotel or it has just been renovated. The facilities are good. The room is clean and cosy. The breakfast is much better than expected.

Chiayi is a quiet town on the edge of alishan mountains, as such there are not many major shops and eateries around. South Urban is a luxurious hotel standing in the middle of the quiet town. The popular food and night market are within 15min walking distance from the hotel (there is u-bike stand just opposite the hotel, but there were no bikes available when we headed out in the evening). The hotel staff were generally friendly, but there are not many amenities available to guests. There were only hair dryer and bedroom slippers available. The hotel did provide two bottles of water, and there is a water dispenser at the lobby if guests need more water. Other tourist attractions within 20-30 minutes walk around are prison, Hiroki village, railway park.

Around 500 m from the TRA Chiayi front exit, the staff are friendly and kind. The room is big enough for two people and their luggage. The lobby smells good; there is a small café in the lobby. The bathroom is a separate wet and dry area. A hairdryer is in the room, and the toilet is an automatic bidet. The bed is comfortable, and the pillows are soft for sleeping well. We were able to leave our luggage after checking out because of my Alishan itinerary.

Orange hotel wenhua is located nearby wenhua road night market, location is convenient. I book room for 3, the bed is comfortable with a soft comforter. Downstairs have one convenient store. Breakfast buffet is good with multiple choice. Have turkey rice, and is so good.

On the way back from Alishan and stay one night here. Kids love this hotel with free snacks at level 7. There also a toddlers room and boardgames room at B1. Breakfast is delicious come with many local specialties. Beef soup is good. Hotel also has supper offer at TWD 250 per pax. The food is good as well. I like the fish fillet.

The accommodation experience at Nice Prince Hotel was highly satisfactory. The hotel is conveniently located near commercial areas and transportation hubs, making travel exceptionally convenient. The room was clean and comfortable, with well-maintained facilities. Rooms on higher floors offered expansive views and a wide visual range, contributing to a relaxing atmosphere. The bed was soft and provided a good night’s sleep, and the room layout was thoughtfully designed. The staff were courteous and professional, delivering high-quality service throughout the stay. Overall, the hotel combines both convenience and comfort, making it a highly recommended option for both business and leisure travelers.

I wish we could have more time to spend in Chiayi so that we can stay longer in this hostel. My kids enjoyed the room and loved our stay in An Lan Jie. The family room is spacious, clean and has all the amenities we needed. Thank you An Lan Jie, hope we can come visit again next time.

Customer service good and friendly, environment quiet, breakfast for me is ok.

Located very near to the TRA train station. Service was fine; they didn’t clear the rubbish or clean up the room every day. There is a water cooler at lvl 2 to fill up water bottle.
