"Super convenient location right in the beginning of Yandai Byway. And just few minutes walk to Shichahai Metro station . Nestled within many Hutongs which is what we are after. old Beijing experience . I love the morning quiet walk along Houhai and Shichahai .With lots of local street food and popular restaurants . Super friendly and caring staff . We were very well received . The hotel is very new and with retro design . Very boutique feel. I loved their room card and asked for if I can have one as souvenir . They kindly gave us 2 and other souvenir items. We will come back to stay in this hotel !"

"My wife and I really like this hotel. It's best asset is it's location, just a few short steps away from the beautiful Houhai lake waterfront. Eventhough it's so close to the lively waterfront, it is still set back far enough to be completely quiet at night. We also liked the modern facilities combining contemporary design with traditional Chinese influences. The hotel itself is very new and all facilities are newly installed. The young staff are also very helpful and enthusiastic. Bonus is the pair of plump cats that grace the reception area, and carefully inspect each guest! However, my only concern with this hotel is the other cats who are kept in cages in a side building. I hope the management will allow them more space to roam. Other than this concern, we like this hotel a lot, and will return here whenever we are back in Beijing."

"We absolutely loved our stay at Junhefu Courtyard Hotel. The staff went above and beyond in every way. We have a toddler who is a serious fruit lover, and every time she cleared the fruit plate in our room, they would restock it without hesitation. It was such a small gesture, but it showed how thoughtful and attentive they are. Honestly, I would stay again just for the service alone. And the location—wow. Don’t underestimate what the Hutongs have to offer! Staying here ended up being the highlight of our trip. Wandering the surrounding alleyways was magical: authentic, full of life, and best of all, incredibly safe. If you want to truly feel the cultural heart of Beijing, this is the place to stay. A small note for light sleepers: the rooms aren’t very sound insulated, so noise can travel. We managed fine with our toddler thanks to a sound machine, but it’s worth being aware of. Overall, we would absolutely book again. A beautiful cultural experience with some of the kindest staff we’ve ever encountered."

"This place is very close to most tourist spots. The staff is super friendly. They use robot to deliver your food, toiletries. If there is anything else to comment is to bring a smaller luggage cos you will need to walk in and out of the hutong to get transport."
