"I attended a concert at Die Kantine and that’s the reason why I stayed here. It’s pretty close to the concert area. There’s a wedding venue near by, but the sound isolation of the hotel is perfect that it doesn’t disturb at all. The room was so silent and clean, the bed was comfortable. I had a really good sleep! The reception stuff was so helpful and friendly. Next train station in 10 min by foot. I can recommend it!"
"After a long trip, had a nice rest here. The location is one stop from Cologne Main Station and 3 minutes walk away from station. The room is clean and warm. But you should turn on heating of bathroom. And everything is exactly as described. Reception is working 24/7. Highly recommend to the travellers."
"It's about a 12 minute walk to the Cologne cathedral. The hotel is on the upscale side, has great amenities. A Nespresso machine w pods in the room and a few included minibar items. There are also qtips etc. The soap and shampoo smell very nice. The room is very spacious. I would just get rid of the office chairs without wheels. They also have a very uncomfortable design where the seat is tilted forward, do you slide forward when you sit in it. Also, the sheets are threadbare - I literally saw a hole in the sheets - doesn't really suit a hotel their caliber. Breakfast is excellent. Nice teas and coffee. Plenty of sweet and savory options, smoked salmon etc. I'd stay again."
"Already again the second stay during this year for us and I still can recommend the hotel. Professional staff during check in at the the reception and nice clean room during our stay. 👍"
"It was a wonderful stay! The room was spacious and clean. There was a table and chairs, so we could have light meals there. The front desk staff were extremely kind and listened attentively to our requests, responding thoughtfully. It's also ideal for sightseeing, being just a short walk from Central Station or Cologne Cathedral."
"Hotel is in a quiet area driendly staff can be bizzy in the weekends. The hotel carpark outside was completly full but you can use the undergroud Carpark."
"Great Hotel. The rooms are beautiful and very nicely furnished with modern amenities such as built in Bluetooth speakers. Breakfast buffet and dinner were of great quality and price. The room prices were still fair when many other places were through the roof so I didn’t mind that the location is a bit remote (of course as it is part of Bayer it’s only supposed to be convenient for Bayer guests. I’d definitely stay here again."

Amazing
GGuest UserStayed as a couple at Club King Double room for 5 nights during the Amphi Festival. Pros: - Unbeatable location, walking distance to everything while not within the Old Town which is way too touristy. Five-minute walk from the train that takes you straight to the airport. - Room 99% soundproof, very private and peaceful (stayed at the Club floor, 6/6). - Amazing bed. - Full-size working desk in the room. - Daytime service very professional, helpful, and friendly. - The Club Floor lounge has it's own very good breakfast buffet (included with the Club rooms at no extra cost - apart from the higher cost of the Club room itself - so you might skip paying extra for the regular breakfast at the restaurant). Also daytime tea with cake and an evening snack are served as well. The snack could become your legitimate dinner if you need it, as there are hot options and appetizers. Amazing view of the cathedral from the Lounge. - The food was amazing. Cons: - The night shift staff is not at the same level as the day shift, so try to resolve your matters during the day. - Some visible wear and tear in the room (not important to me, but might bother some who expect everything to be 100% at this price point). Overall: - Highly recommend, would stay again.
GGuest UserWhen I was checking in, I was a little worried the staff would be unable to speak English. However the two receptionists who helped me were perfectly fluent and answered any questions I had. I did unfortunately have to pay a city tax on top of my room, but it wasn’t expensive and this is a common thing in most hotels in Europe. The room itself was pretty decent and had plenty of space for my suitcase and to walk around. The en-suite was great and had good towels and hot shower. The bed was comfy with a good mattress and duvet wise, but the pillows were a bit limp and didn’t have a lot in them. I spoke to another member of staff who spoke little English, who said he’d look and bring one to my room, but this never happened. Whatever the case, still had a good sleep, would have better with extra head comfort. As for breakfast, there was a great variety of choice from fry-up food (bacon, sausages, eggs) to continental pastries and drinks. I would say the only downside was there was not enough for fruit, as there was only a few apples and plates of sliced oranges. Would have been better if there was more to choose fruit wise, but everything else was great and was a good fuel up for the day in Cologne. When checking out, they also allowed me to place my luggage and bags in their storage room with zero charge which is great when you’re exploring for the day and have a later departure time. Overall, if you’re in Cologne for a day (like me) or two, this place is a great option and I would stay here again!
GGuest UserI had a great stay at Hotel Flandrischer Hof! The location is excellent — right in the heart of Cologne and just a short walk from everything I needed. My room was clean, comfortable, and quiet, which made it easy to relax after a busy day. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was tasty with a good variety. I’d definitely stay here again next time I visit the city. Great value for the price!
GGuest Userlocation far a bit Near train station about 600m Suitable for backpackers travellers Room just nice and big Very comfortable pillow and bed Cleanliness 10/10 Recommended
GGuest UserExcellent. Clean and enough parking spaces (15 euro). Free swimming pool and bathtub in the room are also a big plus for my kid. 2 Large supermarkets across the street. Will come again.
GGuest UserGreat stay! Clean, cozy room with comfy beds. Friendly staff, quick check-in/out. Perfect location—close to shops and transit. Breakfast had good variety. Will definitely come back!
