HHuashinaibaobeiI was in Shenzhen Nanshan near Nantou Ancient City and absolutely fell in love with this Qiuguo S hotel! The service was incredibly warm, and check-in was super fast. The hygiene was also top-notch, with no strange smells in the room. The smart 'Xiao Du' assistant was fantastic, letting me control the lights and air conditioning right from the bed. There are two adorable, fluffy cats in the lobby, and they offer a self-service breakfast and a laundry room. Plus, there are tons of places to eat and shop nearby. I had a wonderful stay!

GGuest UserThe location is excellent, and the hotel staff are responsible, friendly, and attentive. The hotel facilities are great, especially their private gym, which consists of individual rooms. They even provide towels and bottled water, although the temperature in the small rooms is a bit high, and the control doesn't seem to work. In the laundry room, housekeeping staff are always present to ensure machines aren't hogged, preventing other guests from waiting. The housekeeping staff who deliver linens are also very pleasant, warm, and thoughtful. The only disappointment was the one-on-one butler service, which was absolutely no help at all.

Near the subway station, it is a commercial and residential apartment, partitioned, 2 floors up and down, the ground floor space is large, the top floor height is small, relatively narrow. Space utilization to the extreme. Full, typical wooden space capsule bed, 2 toilets with bathrooms are a bit tight, public areas are also, health can be, there is a special person to clean, that is, the space is too small and narrow. Suitable for short overnight stays, people who walk after getting up. There are some resident guests, on the high floor of 26, waiting for the elevator for a long time, the morning and evening peaks are even more tense, about 10-20 minutes. Other times it's fine. Enter the door to change slippers, this is very good, there is a special person responsible for cleaning up, changing the three-piece suit, very good. Good location, good health, general facilities, narrow space, good service, long elevator, average price. There is a large flow of people.

Ccircle920As the best hotel in Shenzhen, it truly lives up to expectations. Although it opened several years ago, it's incredibly well-maintained. The bedding and bath products are very thoughtfully chosen, and the welcome tea and snacks were a nice touch. The afternoon tea selection might not be huge, but it's very refined and tastes excellent. I particularly want to mention breakfast – the eggs Benedict were perfectly made, and the braised beef noodles were incredibly authentic. The fresh coconuts also met the high standards you'd expect from a luxury hotel. However, there was a small hiccup during check-in. When we arrived at our room, we found the door wide open and a man sitting on the sofa! Luckily, a staff member was passing by in the hallway. After hearing what happened, they escorted us to the lobby to clarify the situation. Leo, the lobby manager, sincerely apologized for the hotel's error, and the solution he offered was acceptable. For someone who has stayed in many ultra-luxury hotels worldwide, it's quite unacceptable for a Mandarin Oriental to make such a basic mistake. This was truly a first for me, and I hope the hotel takes this seriously!

GGuest UserMy overall experience at JW Marriott Hotel Shenzhen Bao'an was excellent, and I'd especially like to thank Guest Service Specialist Reina. The check-in process was efficient and smooth. Reina was professional and meticulous, proactively understanding my business travel needs. She thoughtfully arranged a quiet, high-floor room for me and patiently explained the hotel's office amenities, internet usage, and local business travel information. The room was clean and elegant, with complete office facilities, comfortable bedding, and good soundproofing, allowing for a restful night after a busy day. During my stay, I contacted Reina for some last-minute needs, and she responded quickly and handled everything appropriately, communicating with a warm and polite demeanor. Her service throughout truly showcased Marriott's professional standards. The hotel's location is excellent, making travel convenient, and the overall environment is grand and comfortable, suitable for both business meetings and short breaks. Reina's attentive and thoughtful service was incredibly heartwarming. I will definitely choose this hotel first for my next business trip.

GGuest UserPros - Both our rooms at level 10 were relatively close to each other facing the Wong Tee Plaza. It might be a way of the said front desk staff allocating these rooms to us to compensate for our unpleasant check in experience (see below). Spectacular views and we managed to spectate the night light show on Saturday without needing to go to the Civic Centre. - Facilities are great including 24-hour well equipped gym and sauna (best of all hotels in China we experienced so far). - Rooms are relatively new and fully equipped with necessities, has a dyson air dryer, Toto automatic toilet, automated curtains and a steamer to iron the clothes. - Breakfast had a lot of varieties to offer (personally loved the oden and sushi section), good service too. - Housekeeping was amazing. As I was leaving my room, Joy asked if we were interested in their laundry services and we declined as we do not have much laundry to do. After the first day of housekeeping, she noticed we did simple laundry (1-2 pieces of undergarment) and offered us a complimentary mini laundry detergent. We appreciate her thoughtfulness despite the fact that we initially declined her services. - Check out was relatively seamless, I believe it was the front office manager that managed our check out and explained the deposit refund procedures accordingly. - Concierge was decent too as they suggested we are better off getting a Didi to transfer our move to our next destination, and helped us load our bags to the Didi. Cons The only downside experience was check in. We requested if it would be possible to have interconnecting rooms (all good if not, at least as close to each other as possible within the same floor). We were advised that given interconnecting rooms are not available for the same type of rooms: 1.The staff provided an offer (upgrade to one of the bigger rooms that has interconnecting room with free 3 days hotel breakfast for 2 out of 4 pax). The quote/offer was outside of our budget hence we declined the offer and we just accept our original booking via Trip.com with no interconnecting rooms. 2.After we declined, the staff informed us that she miscalculated the price (from RMB 31k down to RMB 20k) for the same offer. This is very odd/confusing to us especially with the price difference due to miscalculation, and she was trying to push this offer to us again which we declined. At this point, whatever price quoted to us of this offer lost its credibility and we proceeded to stick to our original booking. 3.The staff said that she will notify us via WeChat (she added us on WeChat) once the room is ready. Understood at that time it was before check in time (i.e. before 3pm) hence we decided to grab lunch and come back after the check in time. It was past 3pm and we heard nothing from her upon returning to hotel and had to approach the front desk to ask for an update. The same staff managed to provide us key card for one of the rooms while the other room is still not ready (it was past 3:20pm at that time). She said that she will arrange one of her coworkers to deliver the keycards to us once that other room is ready. Around 3:50-4:20pm, we heard nothing (I walked past the other room and noted the housekeeping has finished cleaning up the room and left). I had to go to the front desk to request an update and eventually obtained the keycard. I am not sure if the above stems from the individual's motivation or if this is part of the hotel's standard procedure to aggressively upsell (even if we already said no) or if the front desk is pressured to meet monthly KPIs, but that left us an unpleasant check in experience and obviously did not represent the check in hospitality standards of the hotel itself. Aside from the check in, we loved everything hence we had to give 4 out of 5.

The guest rooms are clean, tidy, and spacious, equipped with smart voice control devices. The King Koil mattress is just right, ensuring a good night's sleep. The breakfast on the 14th floor offers a rich variety, with both Chinese and Western options. The lobby also provides complimentary tea and drinks 24/7. The service from the staff (Tibbers) was warm and attentive. The hotel is conveniently located near a commercial district, making travel easy, yet it's quiet despite being central. It's suitable for both business trips and leisure stays. I'll definitely choose this hotel again next time I'm in Shenzhen.

GGuest UserOur whole family came from Hong Kong to celebrate our child's birthday. We pre-ordered a cake online and had it delivered to the hotel. We informed the concierge beforehand, and they were incredibly thoughtful, helping us receive it and carefully placing it in the fridge to keep it fresh, saving us a lot of hassle. The family room we booked exceeded our expectations; it was fully decorated with charming cartoon themes and even had a small tent, which our child excitedly played with the moment we walked in. The hotel lobby has claw machines, perfect for keeping the kids entertained. The concierge also proactively gave us detailed recommendations for kid-friendly attractions nearby. The room itself was spacious and bright with a great view from the window. The interior decoration was cozy and soothing. There was a variety of pillows on the bed, including neck support pillows and soft pillows, ensuring a very restful sleep after our long journey. The staff were all very kind and attentive, from helping store our cake to offering comprehensive advice on local activities. The room was clean and tidy, and the facilities were excellent. Overall, our birthday trip was very relaxing and comfortable.

GGuest UserFirst off, the hotel's location is absolutely fantastic – super convenient for the subway, buses, taxis, and dining. Also, the service and communication from one of the female supervisors were excellent. Now for the facts. I arrived at the hotel a little after 3 PM. The first time I tried to use my key card, it didn't work. The second time I got into a room, it hadn't been cleaned. The third time, the room I was given already had guests in it. I had to go back and forth myself each time; no hotel staff offered to help or actually checked the rooms beforehand. After all this happened, the hotel staff didn't immediately offer compensation or a new room. Instead, they suggested I wait for my booked room to be cleaned. I refused to wait and mentioned I would report it to the consumer association. Only then did the hotel offer a free room upgrade, but nothing else.
