Romantic Hotels in Macau

This was my first time staying at The Venetian, and the hotel's location is excellent. There's a shuttle bus to the ferry terminal, and many shopping centers and attractions nearby. The hotel staff, especially Roy?? (I don't quite remember his name) and Raymond from the luggage department, were incredibly kind and friendly. They both gave us great recommendations for nearby food and places to visit, and also helped us store our luggage securely. The hotel room was very spacious, and the bedding was super comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised by the complimentary welcome snacks. We ordered breakfast the next morning, and it was great value for money.

Traveling with my family, I finally booked the hotel I've always wanted to stay at. Summer is super busy, so I avoided the peak season – what a relief! The front desk lady was very responsible and meticulous; she saw that my child's birthday was this month and upgraded our room for free, even giving us a thoughtful little gift. The hotel is impeccable, the details are just perfect. My child loved playing in the water, and we could go shopping and eat downstairs. It was fantastic!

Every time I visit Macau, I always stay at the Grand Lisboa. If you're looking for a hotel on the peninsula, the Grand Lisboa is definitely the most convenient and best value for money. It's very close to the Square and the Ruins of St. Paul's, and shopping is incredibly easy. It's about a seven or eight-minute walk to Wynn to see the Tree of Prosperity. The hotel's breakfast buffet and dinner are also of very good quality.

The location is fantastic! As soon as you exit the hotel, turn left, and you're right on the path to the Municipal Affairs Bureau, the Na Tcha Temple, and the Ruins of St. Paul's. It's incredibly close. Plus, there are tons of snack shops and boutiques downstairs. Here's the best part: the free shuttle for the Grand Lisboa is only about 200-300 meters away (that's the Grand Lisboa shuttle, not the Lisboa's, and the Grand Lisboa is right next to the Lisboa). This area offers excellent value for money.

Let's start with check-in. When I arrived in the afternoon, the lobby was packed with a tour group, but the front desk didn't open another counter for other guests. Although someone eventually helped out and the front desk was willing to process my check-in, otherwise I would have had to wait an hour. Overall, the service felt average, not particularly attentive. The signs were unclear; I spent a long time looking for the pool, and even calling the front desk from the room phone was a hassle. The biggest issue, though, was a moldy smell in the room. There were no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or combs, so remember to bring your own. The gym and indoor pool met standard expectations, no surprises there. As for the spa, the decor was really tacky and didn't match the hotel at all. However, I must say that the value for money was okay because the price was low on the day of my stay.

The service was excellent during my stay! However, I ran into an issue during checkout that required police assistance. While waiting for the police to arrive, my phone was almost out of battery. I asked the front desk if I could borrow a power adapter. The male front desk staff said they had one and asked for my room number. I told him I had already checked out but just needed to charge my phone in the lobby for a bit and would return it right away. The staff then immediately said they didn't have one. Hmm! I've stayed at your hotel many times during my trips to Macau, and the service has always been great. But this time was really disappointing! If my phone wasn't about to die and I couldn't scan for a power bank, I wouldn't have even asked to borrow an adapter after checking out. I understand you have a right not to lend it, as it's your property. But I still wanted to share this experience. After all, even if a guest has checked out, shouldn't there be a bit more humanity when they're in urgent need of help?

The location is great, and the environment is clean and hygienic. Most importantly, the price is reasonable. The surrounding amenities are very complete, with supermarkets, banks, shopping malls, and restaurants all available. It's especially convenient for getting to Wynn and StarWorld. I've stayed here several times, and Mr. Jin at the hotel is always very attentive and helpful, just as good every time. In short, when in Macau, it's always Hotel帝濠 for me; I haven't even bothered with the complimentary rooms offered by other hotels.

Staying here with my family of three, it was a good thing there were two toilets, otherwise we would have been in a real bind. But with two toilets, they only installed one shower – that really feels like a waste of space. Every time we entered the room, there was an odor, and the soundproofing was terrible. Even though it's called a suite, it's really just one room with a cardboard partition in the middle. I have no idea what the designer was thinking; wouldn't it have been better to just have two separate rooms? After the casino was canceled, the crowds have definitely thinned out a lot. The breakfast isn't good either. Sigh, it really feels like it's going downhill...

The hotel is a bit old, so the facilities feel a bit dated, but the cleaning lady was very enthusiastic, and the linens were clean. There's renovation work going on in the building, so it was noisy. The absolute best thing about this place is its location. It's perfect for anyone looking to do a deep dive into Macau's casinos. Wynn and StarWorld casinos are right across the street, and it's just a few minutes' walk to the old and new Grand Lisboa. After clearing customs at Gongbei Port, you can take the free shuttle bus from Wynn or StarWorld directly here. I'll definitely stay here again next time, and I'm sure by then the renovations will be finished and the room facilities improved.
