"The front desk staff told me they upgraded my room, but I don't think they did; I suspect they were just saying that. The room looked exactly like the pictures. I think if there's no upgrade, they shouldn't even mention it, as it actually worsens the experience. The hotel is conveniently located near the Second Ring Road with easy parking. The environment is quite good, and there's a laundry room. The room even has a microwave, so I guess it's more of an apartment. Other than the bathroom being a bit small, everything else is great, especially considering the price. I'll definitely choose this place again if I'm driving. It's also close to what I believe is the embassy district, and there are plenty of delivery food options nearby."

"This room is perfect for a family trip; it's very kid-friendly and the views from the window are incredible! Whether from the bedroom, living room, or even while soaking in the tub, the scenery is absolutely delightful – you can enjoy the lush greenery while bathing. The service is also very warm and welcoming, and there are cafes nearby, which is super convenient. Choosing the right Airbnb really makes for a relaxing and perfect vacation!"

"Our stay was very satisfying. The room was spacious and clean, and the facilities were well-maintained. The view was also good. The hotel service was excellent; everyone from the security guard downstairs to the front desk staff and managers were very welcoming. They even brought packages I ordered up to my room, and the robot delivered food from outside. The chef in the breakfast restaurant was also very friendly. Overall, I highly recommend it!"

"This hotel is located in a residential area, right next to my friend's house. It was much better than I expected! The decor and facilities are all brand new, and the bedding is very comfortable. I'd suggest adding a towel rack in the bathroom for convenience, but everything else was excellent."

"The place is clean and beautiful . The owners were hospitable, and we had a fantastic stay. The room was well-equipped with all the necessary amenities, including a hot shower and heater to keep us warm during the chilly days. If you’re planning a trip to the Badaling Great Wall, I highly recommend staying here. The breakfast was delicious, and there’s a lovely cafe on the premises with a beautiful view of the Great Wall. There are a few other cafes nearby, but we spent most of our time at their cafe, where we met their adorable corgis. They were incredibly friendly and playful. There are also some nice restaurants just a short walk away."

"After comparing several hotels in the same price range, I chose Zǐlóng Gardens. I'd also looked at their usual rates, and it seemed a bit pricier then, but booking it in advance for a holiday trip was definitely a steal. **Stay:** For the same price, other places offer rooms under 30 square meters, but Zǐlóng Gardens gives you 50 square meters. It's nestled in a hutong, offering a quiet escape in the midst of the bustling city. It's actually the former residence of Prince Taò, who was an advisor to the People's Liberation Army's equestrian administration. We opted for the family room, which even had a small balcony with a view. The room had a great wet/dry separation in the bathroom, so washing up wasn't cramped at all. **Food:** The mini-fridge was stocked with complimentary drinks (mineral water, Coke, Sprite, beer), and they'd replenish it anytime. Although the restaurant isn't huge, the food is incredibly fresh, with different dishes every day. I initially thought breakfast wasn't included, but it turned out to be free! From 11 AM to 11 PM, they offer afternoon tea with chef-prepared dishes like wontons and Zhajiangmian, all completely free of charge. You can even take fruit back to your room. The 'Sìyuè Hétún' restaurant on the first floor also had good prices and flavors; no reservations needed for their fugu or roast duck. **Getting Around:** It's very close to Nanluoguxiang, the National Art Museum of China, Wangfujing, and Longfu Temple. The subway station is about a 10-minute walk, but I mostly used taxis, which made getting around super convenient. **Service:** The hotel staff's service was impeccable. Finally, although check-out was officially at 12 PM, they were fine with us leaving at 2 PM, and even gave us a farewell gift. Overall, it was a truly satisfying stay. Our 5-day, 4-night trip during Chinese New Year was a fantastic family experience and definitely enhanced our vacation."

"This is our third time staying at this hotel for my child's speech academy annual performance. While it could use more recreational facilities, the service is truly commendable. Manager Qu from Ctrip at the front desk gave us a warm welcome during check-in, explaining the hotel layout and services, and even kindly showed us to our room. Seeing I had a child with me, she also helped with our luggage. The room was as spacious as always, bathed in warm sunshine, and any amenities we requested were delivered quickly. Thumbs up! 👍"

"The room was quite large and spacious, and the courtyard was beautiful, with lots of greenery and a Zen-like atmosphere. It felt like a peaceful retreat away from the hustle and bustle of the city. They also have a large courtyard house, which has a very old-fashioned feel. The staff were very attentive, providing disposable toiletries and helpfully showing you the route to the Badaling Great Wall. The environment and price were much better than staying in a hotel!"
