Best Hotels in Sainte-Foy-les-Lyon, France

I wasnt expecting much, i was really surprised. The hotel room was clean, spacious, safe. You have a secure parking. The hotel stuff is extremely helpful. The food in the restaurant is superb and the breakfast is awesome! For me important, they are pet friendly, and they allow pets in the restaurant. A pleasant surprise! Keep up the good work!

I recently stayed at the Eklo Lyon hotel and I have to say, I was thoroughly impressed. The hotel is incredibly clean and well-maintained, with a modern and stylish decor that creates a comfortable and inviting atmosphere. But what really stood out to me was the friendly and accommodating staff. Everyone I interacted with was genuinely welcoming and eager to make my stay as enjoyable as possible. The location of the hotel is perfect for exploring Lyon, with the Tram conveniently located right in front of the hotel. This makes it incredibly easy to get to the city center and explore all that Lyon has to offer. Additionally, the hotel has a great vibe, with a relaxed and laid-back atmosphere that made me feel right at home. The breakfast at the hotel was also a highlight. There were plenty of options available, with something to suit every taste. From fresh pastries to eggs, everything was delicious and well-prepared. Overall, I highly recommend the Eklo Lyon hotel. The combination of its clean and comfortable rooms, convenient location, friendly staff, and delicious breakfast make it a fantastic choice for anyone visiting Lyon.

My expectations were low and I was still disappointed. We had booked two rooms for a two day stay to attend a concert. The first room was ok, except for the smell of tobacco. It was also missing a plug so the bathtub was useless. The second room was filthy. Plenty of dust and grime on the walls several places, but that I could have accepted had it not been for the floor. The entire room was carpeted and on one side of the bed it was soaking wet. It stayed wet for our stay, even after maintenance checked it out. My husband accidentally stepped in it and his white sock turned brown. They also used some sort of perfume in the rooms and the hallways, which were nauseating. The food was edible. Pretty flavorless and bland. We ordered a charcuterie board and the sliced cheese had dried edges. The bread was also extremely dry, like cut to days ago and left on the counter. Breakfast was ok. Pancakes and eggs were good, but the rest wasn't much to write home about. Overall a very disappointing experience. Except the lobby and the staff. Lobby is gorgeous and the staff was extremely pleasant.

The hotel is a very good hotel and is a good hotel. The rooms are sparate in the 1970s, which is more glacial despite the heat in the ground. Traces of humidity at the ceiling just above the bed head. Let au matlas défoncé, certainly we feel well the resorts. The bathroom is very date with the washing spots, black traces on the walls left by a wall accessory (hair dry?) missing, mosquito shower joints, hair and hair in the washing and shower! ... And it was the same for my 4 colleagues who had also booked. To avoid absolutely. And it is a 3 stars!!! ???

I was fortunate enough to visit The Boscolo in August of this year (22) and have to say I wasn’t disappointed. The staff were welcoming and very helpful and the first impression of the hotel is fabulous. The room was beautiful, clean and very well finished with lovely comfortable beds. The treats left were very welcome too. The pool area was wonderful and the meal we had in the evening, around the pool, was exceptionally good. I would love to visit Nice again and if I do the Boscolo would be my first choice!

The hotel is very close to the Padiu train station and bus station, just 200 meters away from the north gate. The train station has recently been renovated and requires a detour. There are many restaurants, supermarkets, and large shopping malls next to the hotel, making eating and transportation very convenient. Breakfast doesn't have much variety, but it's clean. The structure of the room is a bit messy, not very big, and the balcony is not well protected. It is probably because the apartment was converted into a hotel. The service staff were very warm and friendly. The room didn't seem to be cleaned every day. I stayed alone for two days in a row so I didn't mind.

After 3 nights (payed in advance)passed at the hotel from 5 to 8 July 2023 I extended one night from 8 to 9 in agreement with the hosts paying initially with breakfasts In this night from 8 to 9 while I was sleeping, I receive a call at midnight and half of the night watcher to specify that: as I wasn't here, I should go and set the room. I tell him he wakes me up and I'm in my bedroom. He intimates me to go down to pay my room immediately. I remind him that he just wakes up and that I will fix before I leave, as agreed on the request for extension. He replies: ”If you don't go down to pay next, I go up.” Twenty minutes later, he came to my door and I woke up again and after opening, I tell him that it is not a question that I'm going down to pay now. Following these repeated incidents, I don't find my sleep because of the surprise and anger related to her attitude I talk about this morning to the host employee who is surprised by such behavior. I don't think I'm guilty of this night of hotel, but the employee tells me that if I don't pay it is to her to pay. I'm still waiting for his call despite two calls from me.

Booking in advance is cost-effective, breakfast is good, the location is in the scenic area, it is very convenient to go to the top of the mountain church.

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. Room with a pleasant balcony. I strongly recommend this hotel.

I am 5ft3, 55 kgs and felt claustrophobic in that bathroom, you could hardly move around. Awful. We, as a family, are used to staying in basic hotels when we are only having a stop over during our journeys but this one was beyond basic. As said before tiny bathroom, the mattress on our bed was terrible (collapsing on one side). We booked a family room for the 4 of us and once all the beds were made we literally could not moved around the room, no space to sit or walk around. Dreadful. It was clean though so that is one thing. The parking was gated and you could walk in 15 mins to a McDonald's, the area felt safe enough. The staff was very pleasant but the evening staff could not speak English properly. Only one towel per person no hand towel or floor mat.
