"Expectation/Reality: fair representation of photos from reality. Bunks are organized in a clever way which make it feel quite private.
Security: good lock in bed room. Code required to get into the bunk area. And generally felt belongings were secure.
Hygiene: generally very clean, seems like a pattern in Japan. The ceiling of the top bunk is open style, rugged but clean.
Hospitality: sometimes it took some patience to deal with a human. But the online check in / out works fine. You need to take an elevator to get to the hostel
Social Atmosphere: only stayed a few nights so did not have best opportunity to engage, however, there is an abundant amount of common space and would expect it to be good.
Overall would come again and would reccomend."
"Walking distance to Susukino station. The room is small and compact, but it's very quiet, probably because it's one street away from the main street.
There is also a large public bath, and breakfast is free. it is value for money.
There is a Lawson on the first floor, which can be accessed without going outside.
I will choose to stay with Route-Inn hotel if I come back to Hokkaido as all its hotel provide public bath."

"I rebook Daiwa after my short trip to Otaru mainly because my previous stay is fantastic. Room fixtures are still very new and clean. The bath and shower are separated and is huge compared to most Japanese hotel. It is close to metro station. I have to say that staff are awesome and with very positive attitude and willingness to solve any issues. What I also like most is that they have a status update on the public bath and restaurant so that I don’t go in those times when the place is super crowded. Will definitely stay here again. Genuinely Thank you all staff in DRH who make my stay so enjoyable."
"I recently had the pleasure of staying at The b sapporo for six nights, and I can confidently say it was a delightful experience. From the moment I arrived, the excellent service provided by the staff made me feel welcomed and valued. Their attentiveness and willingness to assist with any inquiries truly set the tone for my stay.
One of the highlights was the wonderful Japanese breakfast served each morning. The variety and quality of the dishes were impressive, offering a perfect start to the day. I particularly enjoyed the fresh ingredients and traditional flavors that made each meal a culinary delight.
The hotel's location is another significant advantage. It is conveniently situated next to several convenience stores, which made it easy to grab snacks or essentials on the go. Additionally, the proximity to the shopping area and access to Pole Town made exploring Sapporo a breeze. I appreciated being able to step out and immerse myself in the local culture without having to travel far.
A lovely touch that I looked forward to every afternoon was the selection of tarts, cookies, coffee, and tea offered in the lobby until 6 PM. It was a perfect way to unwind after a day of sightseeing and provided a cozy atmosphere to relax in.
The b sapporo is a newly built hotel, and it shows. The cleanliness of the facilities was impeccable, and the modern decor added a fresh feel to the space. The neighborhood was surprisingly quiet, allowing for restful nights after busy days.
Overall, my stay at The b sapporo was exceptional, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and quality service in Sapporo."
"location is rather outside the main busy tourist area, but the hotel offer free shuttle to sapporo, it could be better if they have evening schedule too. Room is rather spacious as in Japan, amenities are good in quality. Bottle of drinking water has been provided everyday. Breakfast is great, a wide variety of choice."
"This is a great hotel. The room layout was well-designed with partitions clearly separating the bedroom, bathroom, and toilet. The work desk was functional and comfortable to use. The hotel is modern, convenient, and in a very good location. The staff were lovely and welcoming. I would definitely stay here again."
"The hotel is located between Sapporo Station and Odori Station, very convenient for taking the railway. The hotel offers hot springs and free Sapporo beer at 7:30 p.m. The room is well-equipped and has a great view, with a beautiful night view of Sapporo. The Christmas decorations in the hotel are beautiful and the staff are very polite. The only downside is that the towels were dirty one day and the bed sheets were not changed. I will definitely stay at this hotel next time I visit Sapporo."
"1. Provision of room cleaning service only once on 2-day basis with bed sheet changing.
2. Corner room with nice view (photo attached)
3. Hot Spring Bathing facility on B1 Floor with 2 small pools (4-6 persons) and 1 outdoor tiny pools ( 3-4 persons).
4. Breakfast is good at all, however stop at 1000 a.m.
5. Hotel location is very close to JR staion with 5-6 mins subway walk."
"Advice: Ask the staff how to get from the hotel to Sapporo station instead of Google maps. They know a fast way that cars cannot use. Everything was perfect. Great location, quiet rooms and the staff are 5 star. The meals were amazing. We used the buffet as well as a la carte on the top floor."

Amazing
Kkifteh97Excellent hotel, we stayed here again on the our 2nd leg in Sapporo, and it was a consistently pleasant experience.
Wanted to showcase the underground tunnel linked directly to the hotel that made travel to and from Sapporo Station quick and convenient, as well as the ice machines that were available on every floor (with a cute container to hold them provided in the room too!).
HHenLeeBrand new hotel. Open in 2024. Design is modern. Hotel room is of reasonable size.
Hotel is at the busiest junction of Susukino of Sapporo. There are numerous restaurants and shopping areas nearby. There js a shopping mall underneath as well. Very convenient if you take public transport.
For drivers, use the jumbo 1000 parking. ¥1500 for one night. However, parking lot is extremely small for Japan standard.

JJuillardThis hotel is a must especially if you’re going during the Sapporo Yuki Matsuri (Snow Festival). Susukino and Odori site are only few blocks away and the Tsudome site is only a subway ride away. It’s super close to the subway station and it’s also close to Nakajima Park where you can play in the snow. The Susukino site is a very lively place with plenty of shops and restaurants.

RR J WRelatively clean, though it is evident that the hotel is quite old. The room and toilet were cosy. One main upside to this hotel is that they offer free drinks (coffee, tea, red/white wine, fruit juice, and hotel-made soup) from 1pm to 7pm, which is free flow as long as you are a guest at the hotel. There are also two fine dining restaurants at the top two floors, one of which is teppanyaki-style. There is also breakfast buffet at Lvl 5 which is quite nice.

FFun Traveler5mins walk from Sapporo station North exit. Water dispenser and ice maker at our level makes it convenient. Only 1 big luggage can be placed at corner of the room. The other had to be on the walkway in front of the bed. Rather standard space for Japanese hotel. Public bath was nice especially in the cold winter. There is a separate space for relaxing. Wasn’t being told of the coffee lounge during check in as read from reviews here.
MMr. Alex2045Centrally based busy hotel, quiet inside, lots of amenities, coin operated washing mashine downstairs. Strict policy for checking in, staff is friendly snd client focused. Lots of 24h convenience stores nearby.
It is very close to subway, snd to parks and TV tower, would very much recommend it .
GGuest UserThe room is not that big, but there is enough space, you can even easily keep your suitcase open. The staff is very responsive. The location is just great - everything you need and even more is nearby. If necessary, you can wash your clothes here, which is very convenient. The bed is very comfortable, the soundproofing is good, or I just didn't have neighbors :)

VVergencita RabacThe food was great. Facilities are also great. The location is just around the city so access to shopping centers and tourists spots are easy. No need to spend for transport because all you need for sightseeing and shopping is just by walk.

MMing Ying YLoved the location, can be accessed directly from JR station without having to go out into the snow. Also surrounded by lots of eateries & 3 malls. Room is a tad bit small but otherwise clean and has all necessary amenities. Great for a short stay while we transit
EEpianThe hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of major attractions, making it a great base for exploring the area. The room features traditional Japanese-style interiors but feels quite dated, including the furniture. On the positive side, the buffet for both dinner and breakfast offers a wide variety of options to suit different tastes. A standout feature is the free shuttle service from Sapporo Station, which adds convenience for travelers. Overall, it’s a practical choice for its location and amenities, though the rooms could use some updates.
