Scenic Hotels in Macau

"Facilities: The facilities are excellent, with a bathtub and a small fridge. Soaking in the tub after walking 20,000 steps a day was incredibly relaxing, and you could even watch TV (though the TV programs seemed to repeat; I watched the same news two days in a row). It was a sea-view room, directly facing the Macau Tower, perfect for photos. There's also an infinity pool on the 2nd floor, open at 8 AM. It's great for swimming, taking pictures, and checking in. Just remember to bring your room key card for registration. There are changing rooms and showers, and they provide slippers. The lighting in the morning is fantastic for photos. Environment: The hotel is located inside a mall. There's a slope to get in, but you can avoid it by taking another route: from MGM, there's an underpass that leads directly to the hotel lobby (L floor). If you enter from the slope side, you'll be on the G floor, and you'll need to go down one escalator to check in. The location is close to MGM and Wynn, so you can easily use MGM's shuttle bus. I never needed to use the hotel's shuttle. Service: The front desk staff was very thorough and attentive. A MOP 1000 deposit is required. I had seen on Xiaohongshu (a social media platform) that some people had deductions from their deposit, so I asked the front desk what was chargeable. The deposit refund was quite fast; I checked out at 11 AM and had already received it by the time I wrote this review. The hotel also provides a set of discount coupons. I think they'd be quite a good deal for family trips (or at least for two people), but I was traveling solo so I didn't use them. Both the G-floor exit (next to Pop Mart, where food deliveries are also picked up) and the L-floor exit have staff guiding guests and helping to call taxis. However, I didn't think it was necessary, haha. I took the elevator directly to B2, followed the signs, and asked for directions to MGM (thanks to Xiaohongshu tips) to catch MGM's shuttle bus to the airport. It cost 0 MOP, and the bus ride was about 20 minutes, with two stops at border crossings – very convenient."

"Overall, the Grand Lisboa Palace Macau offers a great experience. The rooms are spacious and brand new, with elegant New Chinese-style decor. The garden is also a beautiful spot for photos. The butler service is attentive and responsive, and the breakfast offers a wide variety of choices. Its location is a bit off the beaten path, so transportation primarily relies on the shuttle bus. Check-in can be a bit slow during peak hours. However, it offers good value for money and is highly recommended for a vacation stay."

"Who on earth is praising this hotel? Because my company covers travel expenses, I used to always pay the difference to stay at places like St. Regis or Banyan Tree. This time, I saw this newly opened hotel for just over 600 a night, not much different from The Parisian, so I thought it wouldn't be too bad and decided to stay for two nights as a stopover. The experience was simply… indescribable. 1) I booked a suite, but when I arrived, I found there was no shower, only a bathtub where I had to squat to wash. I can't understand how a hotel could be designed like this. 🙄 I contacted the front desk, and they told me all suites are designed without a shower. If I wanted to change rooms, I'd have to downgrade without a refund for the price difference. That's pretty ridiculous. It's their design flaw, not clearly stated on the booking page, yet the customer is expected to bear the consequences. 2) The Wi-Fi signal was terrible, couldn't connect anywhere, whether on the balcony or by the pool. 3) The outdoor pool, forget about being heated, it was an ice-cold pool. And during my two-day stay, I never saw the water being changed. 4) The location is very remote. Although there's a shuttle, it only goes one way. I ended up taking taxis back and forth, and even taxis were scarce, requiring a long wait. 5) Ordering coffee by the pool incurred a service charge… St. Regis, Conrad, and Galaxy don't charge service fees, do they? There wasn't even a bottle of water by the pool. This hotel is on my lifetime blacklist."

"The hotel was clean and located in a residential area. Downstairs, there was a great supermarket and various restaurants. It was quiet and comfortable, and the bed was cozy, ensuring a good night's sleep."

"I couldn’t have asked for a better place to escape the big city. The hygiene standard was excellent – everything felt very clean and well-maintained. Breakfast offered so many options, something for every taste. The swimming pool was a highlight: nice and deep, great for a proper swim. The staff were super friendly and helpful throughout my stay. The whole atmosphere was incredibly relaxed, making it the perfect choice if you truly want to unwind. Highly recommended!"

"The hotel's facilities, cleanliness, and views are all top-notch, but the service really leaves something to be desired. It says check-in is at 3 PM, but we registered at around 11 AM and didn't get our room until past 5 PM. Then, when we asked if we could have a late check-out to make up for some of the lost time, the front desk guy reluctantly said we could only stay until 12 PM. This is the only thing I wasn't happy with; everything else was great. I'm just being objective, not exaggerating or being unfair. Hope this helps future guests."

"Stayed at the Riviera Hotel in Macau and overall really enjoyed it. The location is great if you want to explore the old part of the city. One of the best things was the view from the room — absolutely amazing, прямо looking at the Macau Tower. Definitely a “wow” view, especially at night. Breakfasts were good and had enough variety. The hotel is also about a 15-minute walk from the metro/light rail station, and they provide a free shuttle to Border Gate, which was very convenient. A few downsides though: The nearest grocery/convenience store is about a 10–15 minute walk away, which can be annoying when you just need something quickly. Taxis around the hotel were also not always easy to find. And not all staff members speak English well, so sometimes communication was a bit difficult. Still, for the location, views, and overall atmosphere, it was a very good stay."

"The hotel amenities are comprehensive. The location is super convenient, and the room view is fantastic; you can see the Grand Lisboa building right from the window, offering an amazing panorama. The dining experience is quite unique. The hotel staff are very attentive and thoughtful, and the room is cleaned daily with a fresh set of toiletries replaced, which truly made for a comfortable and worry-free stay. With such great value for money, I'm definitely satisfied!"

"Right by the airport entrance, this is an excellent choice for early morning flights! Facing the airport, my room had a window with a view. The soundproofing was great; I couldn't hear any airport noise at all, which made for a very good night's sleep. Group check-in for room cards is on the ground floor, but individual guests need to go to the 11th-floor front desk to check in."

"Extremely comfortable stay! The hotel is conveniently located right next to the airport, and the staff are incredibly friendly, truly showcasing the warmth of the people of Macao. The room was clean, hygienic, quiet, and cozy – a peaceful retreat amidst the hustle and bustle. It's absolutely perfect for anyone with a layover who doesn't want to just sit around the terminal.
