"My second time celebrating my birthday here and this hotel is highly recommended. The room is spacious, clean and well maintained and has a nice view of the Nam Van Lake. The amenities are complete. The facilities are great. The breakfast buffet included is okay though not much of variety. The staffs are nice from the reception area and their customer service is superb especially Nelson, Dennis and the one who assisted us until we reach our room but I forgot to get his name."

"I specifically chose to celebrate my birthday in Macau and stayed at the Mandarin Oriental. The entire trip was made incredibly special and memorable by the hotel's warm and thoughtful service. From the moment we arrived, the welcoming staff were exceptionally warm and attentive. They not only helped us with our heavy luggage but also offered refreshing towels and hot tea. Later, when we received a delivery, they even brought it up to our room on a cart. Their meticulous service created a great first impression. The service during our stay was full of delightful surprises. The turndown service, in particular, was incredibly detailed and considerate. Initially, my husband and I weren't familiar with the hotel's service procedures, mistaking it for routine housekeeping. So, when the turndown service attendant came, we politely declined. Only later did we realize we had missed out on the turndown service and quickly called the front desk. We then discovered it was already past the staff's working hours. We thought it wouldn't be possible to arrange it, but to our surprise, the hotel was incredibly thoughtful. Soon after, a housekeeping staff member specifically came to provide the turndown service for us. This level of understanding and dedication was truly touching. Furthermore, the hotel's in-room dining service was excellent. Every staff member was genuinely kind, polite, and provided meticulous service throughout. I especially want to thank Hallie and Ray at the front desk. No matter how late we called with inquiries, they always maintained a patient and gentle demeanor, carefully answering our questions, clarifying important details, and diligently assisting with all our booking arrangements. Their professional and attentive service made us feel incredibly at ease. The entire stay was warm and delightful. From the front desk to housekeeping, from the welcoming concierge to various thoughtful services, every staff member was genuine, enthusiastic, and exceptionally attentive. I truly fell in love with the perfect blend of warmth and quality at the Mandarin Oriental Macau. Love you, Mandarin Oriental, see you next time!"

"The hotel's exterior looks a bit dated, but the interior decor, both soft and hard furnishings, is very upscale. It's exceptionally clean, and the doorman proactively opened the door and helped with luggage. The staff were all very warm and attentive. The breakfast selection wasn't extensive, but for someone with simple needs like me, it was more than enough! The afternoon tea had a rich and exquisite variety. The restaurant staff were all incredibly enthusiastic and meticulous, promptly attending to every customer's needs and responding immediately. Overall, it's excellent value for money and highly suitable for bringing older family members. Recommended! 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻"

"Knowing this hotel was a bit far from the main attractions, we planned to spend most of our time relaxing at the hotel. We initially wanted to go for a swim right after checking in, but at 3 PM check-in, we were informed that it would take another two hours to clean the room. The front desk gave us our room cards and an extended 1-hour late check-out. During this time, we explored the hotel's mall; there's a Yata supermarket on the second floor that helped us pass the time. The pool area includes an indoor pool, an outdoor pool, and a jacuzzi, which I thought was great. We had dinner at one of the hotel's restaurants. The food quality was decent, but the service was poor. Dishes were served very slowly; one guest waited an hour for their food, and the staff didn't apologize or actively follow up. The room was spacious and, apart from some stains in the shower area, was very clean overall. Our room offered a garden view. The mini-bar drinks in the room were complimentary. Breakfast at 'The Buffet' offered a wide variety of choices, and the food quality was above average. Overall, I was very satisfied."
