Enjoyed the stay a lot! The room was very neat and nice. Breakfast was very tasty and the staff brought little snacks each day. They were also very helpful with every question and accommodating. It's a 10/10 hotel!

We were a party of four: myself, my two children, and my mother. When booking, I specifically requested a high and quiet floor. We were given a room on the 12th floor with two beds, and the window overlooked a school playground, which was blissfully quiet during the summer holidays.
Breakfast was included and incredibly generous, offering a fantastic mix of Chinese and Western options. There were stir-fries, fried dishes, freshly prepared items, fruits, drinks, milk, soy milk, eggs, cakes, bread, salads, and more. They were also very quick to replenish dishes on the buffet. Considering its location in economically developed Pudong, this hotel offers excellent value for money!
While the room size was average, it was very practical. The bed was extremely comfortable. The shower room, though a bit compact, had excellent water pressure, and there was convenient counter space around the sink for toiletries.
With three elevators, waiting times were minimal. The laundry room was well-equipped; the washing machines are front-loading washer-dryer combos, with separate dryers available on the upper level. Cotton clothes dried in about 20 minutes on high heat. They even provided clean laundry bags and complimentary sewing kits.
Upon entering the hotel, guests can enjoy a variety of complimentary infused waters. In the evenings, several types of congee are also offered free of charge. The staff, though seemingly young, were incredibly enthusiastic and helpful. The front desk, in particular, was exceptional – they were always ready to assist and acted immediately on any request, which was truly commendable.

Check in and check out was very easy.
High speed wifi.
Rooms are clean.Bathroom was comfortable.Good water pressure on the shower.
Apartment style rooms.Microwave, large fridge, washing machine,Stove etc was provided.
Location is nice.Family mart and starbucks are just on the opposite side of the road.Chinese restaurants are everywhere which is a good plus.Lianhua super market is around the corner where everything was available.Dominos at a walking distance.
Overall it was a nice stay.

First room is clean but lack of maintenance.
Second room no clean as first one.
Toilet and washing machine leaking and cause the floor in the room to be wet. They change a room for me but end up the room is smaller and no warm water for shower and also there is some hair over the shower head bracket……..
Afternoon shift front desk service is good but they delay my checkin time for 45minutes
Night shift front desk service is poor especially the young guy having his supper and video games when on duty and ignore customer requests.
But the technical stuff uncle provide a very good service.

Pros:
Located near the Maglev station, Metro Super Market, and the Shanghai Metro station (all within approximately 5 min walking distance). Lots of local foods near the maglev station. Approx 10-20 minutes walk to the Expo. Friendly staff with limited English conversation. Use translation apps to communicate. Drinking water and coffee is available 24/7 at the lobby. Local breakfast buffet for 25RMB.
Cons:
Cigarrete smells in Non Smoking room and visible dust on the wallpaper.

The hotel is about a 10-minute walk from Pudian Road Station (Line 2, Exit 6). However, because it's a busy area with many traffic lights and narrow sidewalks, it's not very convenient when dragging luggage. The Yuxingji restaurant next to the hotel serves delicious crab roe noodles and xiaolongbao; it has three floors, so you generally don't need to queue. There are also malls and convenience stores nearby, which is quite convenient. For food delivery, you can pick it up from the front desk on the 5th floor yourself or have a robot deliver it to your room door.
However, one unsatisfactory aspect was the poorly managed laundry room. Since there was no staff supervision, when I wanted to use a machine, all three washing machines had finished cycles, but no one came to collect their clothes. There was also no staff to help move washed clothes aside so other guests could use the machines. I also heard from other guests that the dryers were inefficient; even after three 30-minute high-heat cycles, clothes were still not dry. Consequently, I waited twice for others to finish, but they all said their clothes weren't dry and needed more drying, refusing to vacate the machines. I had no choice but to take my wet clothes back to my room to air dry. This left me with a rather unpleasant experience...
Overall, though, I would still recommend this hotel if you plan to visit areas like the city center or The Bund.

The hotel is very well located, very close to the metro station, with several dining options in the vicinity, which is very convenient. The staff is very friendly.
The facilities are fine, the room is very nice, very spacious, clean, and has good amenities. In addition, I was able to use the washing machines and gym for free without any problems. Breakfast is a buffet, varied, and has several options for Westerners as well.
Personally, what I didn't like is that all the time, when I left my room, I saw all the garbage and clutter from when they cleaned other rooms, which wasn't very nice. I show it in the photos. Also, the coffee and tea offered in the room were all expired. I noticed after trying one, and it tasted very bad.
In short, the hotel is fine for the price you pay; it would simply be better if those details were corrected.

The hotel is only 100 meters from Exhibition Hall Gate 2, a quick three-minute walk. You'll find plenty of restaurants and convenience stores right downstairs. They also offer a super convenient breakfast with both Chinese and Western options. The subway station is approximately 200 meters away, about a 5-6 minute walk.

I recently stayed at Jianguo Hidden Hotel in Shanghai and had a great experience! The room was newly renovated, very spacious, and super clean. The hotel itself is well-maintained and located conveniently near shops and restaurants, making it easy to explore the area.
I was pleasantly surprised when the hotel upgraded my room to a better one, which made my stay even more comfortable. One of the highlights of the hotel is the cozy lounge area – a perfect spot to relax or have a chat with friends.
All the staff were friendly, helpful, and professional. Their warm hospitality really made me feel welcome. Highly recommended if you’re visiting Shanghai!

The environment is very good and clean. I arrived very late and the front desk guy prepared milk snacks for me. He also upgraded my room for free. When I left, the girl gave me a small wooden comb. The service attitude was very good.

GGuest UserI stayed at Fairfield by Marriott Pudong South Shanghai during a recent business trip booked through Trip.com, and it delivered well on comfort and convenience.
Check-in was smooth, staff were professional, and the room was clean, modern, and functional with strong Wi-Fi and a proper work desk—ideal for business travellers.
The one clear limitation was breakfast for vegetarians, especially Indian travellers. Beyond fruits, bread, cheese, and jam, there were practically no vegetarian options. Most hot dishes were non-vegetarian, so the variety felt very restricted if you’re not eating meat.
Location is practical for Pudong area meetings, with taxis easily available and airport access fairly quick.
Overall, it’s a reliable business hotel: good rooms, efficient service, and value for money. Just be prepared for limited vegetarian food at breakfast.

SSYstarryrimI stayed here for a concert as it is of walking distance to the Mercedes benz arena. I arrived in the evening and was checked in to the room immediately. I've gotten river view twin bedded room. The view is so beautiful. Fruits, prunes and chips were given in the room, probably also because of the power disruption later in the night. I woke up in the middle of the night as the aircon was off and tv on by itself when the power resumed. I was scared for awhile as I stayed alone. Staff were nice but some are not really approachable. Food delivery and parcels will have to be collected downstairs inside a dark room on both sides of the hotel. I lost a parcel and was never found. It's still nice to come back to hotel due to the hot weather outside. Plenty of water were given in the room. The smart toilet always flushes by itself somehow, little scary for me as I travel alone. It is near to a mall, metro station and many eateries.

AAnanziFirst, the cons: After checking in, when I pulled back the covers, I noticed a small stain on the bed. It looked like an old, persistent mark, which was a bit off-putting. 🤣🤣🤣
Now, for the pros: The location is excellent, with a dedicated pick-up/drop-off point. The hotel's environment is quite good; the lobby and corridors were well-maintained and clean. Delivery of tissues and toiletries was also very prompt. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful, even assisting me with sending/receiving express packages, which I greatly appreciated.

Aside from the poor soundproofing, everything else was fine. The robot delivery service was very convenient.
As for cleanliness, it seems they have a maid come every afternoon. If this bothers you, you might want to let the front desk know in advance. Otherwise, everything else was fine.

The facilities are old, but there are no broken items, and both hot and cold water flow well.
Changqing Road subway station is less than 100 meters away, and it is 2 subway stops to the Shanghai International Expo exhibition center without transfers.
It is about 15 to 20 minutes on foot to the exhibition center, and there are many local restaurants near the subway station.
The front desk does not speak any language other than Chinese. (A translator is essential.)
It is a very cost-effective accommodation for accommodation for attending the exhibition.
However, for tourism purposes, it is lacking in facilities and cleanliness.
