As a business traveller, when I go to a hotel, I crave familiarity, as there are often enough surprises at work. At the Radisson Xing Guo, I had high expectations, check-in process was smooth and the room was nice. However, when I came back after work, the dirty cups were still inside my room and when I called down to front desk, they sent replacement glasses from room service without any spoons after a long wait. On my second day returning from work, there was only half the normal nunber of bottles of water. The continuous little errors were unfortuante as I never knew what else would go wrong. Hotel overall was nice, and should definitely spend more time training room servicing staff.
Located in a very quiet neighborhood in Shanghai, perfect for those who enjoy short scenic walks. The subway entrances are only 2 minutes away so its ideal for a quiet yet convenient stay in thr big city. The rooms are pretty tight for more than one person.
The entire staff is friendly, helpful and accommodating - from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the kitchen staff. Amazing people! The breakfast is also not bad. Chinese cuisine but foreigner friendly.

Came to Xi'an with friends for 8 days and 7 nights. We chose to stay at Wanda Meihua for the first 3 nights. It is close to the subway (right next to SKP). The hotel is clean, especially the towels~clean. We didn't even need to use the disposable towels and bath towels we brought with us. There is drinking water (unlimited) and a washing (drying) room. Clothes can be washed at any time, so you don't need to bring too many clothes. The room is spacious and comfortable, with great sound insulation and smart controls. The breakfast is rich, with local snacks and noodles. The front desk staff is even better, speaking softly and smiling, and answering every question, which deserves praise, especially Mr. Xiao Zhao, who provided thoughtful service. We originally planned to move to a homestay near the bell tower for the next 4 nights, and canceled our stay at Wanda Meihua. Mr. Xiao Zhao also helped us get free breakfast from the leaders. Thanks 🙏Xiao Zhao⋯⋯

We chose Capella for our first visit to Shanghai. Truly, it is a charming and supremely tranquil hotel in the heart of the city. The warmth and eagerness of the staff to assist us left us deeply moved. Every detail in our villa was meticulously and elegantly arranged, from the placement of the slippers to the absolutely silent light switches. We've stayed in many luxurious hotels and received beautiful luggage tags upon checkout, but the farewell gift from Capella left an impression far warmer and more memorable in our hearts. A truly elegant and exquisite experience.
We had an amazing stay at Blackstone M+!! The service at the reception and at Breakfast was fabulous. The suite was fantastic with plenty of space for 3 pax. Love the decor and the ammenities. The location is also the best, a short walk to Anfu Lou and a bike ride away from all the nouk and crannies of the French concession. Will Definitely stay here again next time! Love everything about it. Highly recommend.
Oh I was so impressed by EVERYTHING… the beautifully adorned rooms, the water themed restaurant, the delicious vegetarian breakfast (and I mean delicious!) and the kind, attentive and knowledgeable staff. I had a massage by a lady who clearly knows her craft and I still feel better for it. My butler Chen was so helpful and always available for assistance, identifying my interest in all things history showing me different rooms and things in the hotel that would spark my interest. I will be recommending this hotel. What a wonderful discovery! Thank you so much for making it a very special and memorable experience (and only minutes walk from Shanghai Cultural Area).
The hotel is well-designed and feels like a studio apartment. The hotel staff were super friendly and accommodating. They managed to arrange for early check-in when we arrived in the morning. Always checking on us and making sure we are well-rested! Will return for a stay again :)
The hotel staff are extremely helpful; especially the front desk workers! I have encountered many obstacles throughout my stay in Shanghai and the staff are patient, resourceful, and efficient to resolving all my obstacles. 嚴曉珍, one of the front desk workers, who is warm, friendly, and professional and has high problem solving skills! The hotel is very lucky to have a staff like her!
The location is really nice! The neighborhood is beautiful and convenient. You can find nice restaurants, cafes, and bars. All in walking distance! I highly recommend this hotel to all kinds of travelers; business or pleasure!
The Nanying Hotel in Shanghai offers a comfortable and pleasant stay for travelers visiting this bustling metropolis. Situated in a prime location, the hotel provides easy access to major attractions and transportation hubs. The rooms are well-appointed, featuring modern amenities and a serene ambiance for a restful night's sleep.
The hotel's staff is courteous, accommodating, and attentive to guests' needs, ensuring a warm and welcoming atmosphere throughout the stay. I requested an ironing table at 11PM and the maid showed up within 5 minutes with all the required items. Additionally, the hotel breakfast is pretty tasty.
For an affordable and enjoyable stay in Shanghai, the Nanying Hotel is a reliable choice, catering to both leisure and business travelers with its convenient location and pleasant amenities.

GGuest UserIt's really superb 👍🏻 I thought that the praise was brushed, and I had a try attitude. I didn't expect it to be a good place to be quiet in the middle of noisy, and I will come next time! The boss is very good and patient, a rare good boss 😊
GGuest UserI originally booked a king-size bed room, but the front desk guy was very nice and helped me upgrade to a superior king-size bed room with bigger windows and better ventilation. I really like this hotel. I have stayed here before when I came to Shanghai. The area around this hotel is also very nice. The hygiene is very good. I like it very much. It is a quiet place in Shanghai. I stayed here for the second time.
GGuest UserI booked at Soho Garden Villa because I was traveling with my dog and needed a place to have a day of rest in Shanghai before continuing our trip. Booking for an additional dog was extremely easy, and the staff at the hotel were all extremely kind and helpful despite our language barrier. I am very grateful!!
In terms of space, the room I had was quite basic (small) size-wise and it would be a squeeze for more than 2 nights. If I had been staying for other reasons I might have asked for a view. That said, what existed what quite comfortable and very functional. The fruit and snacks were a nice additional touch. (I would just suggest that the refrigerator be colder.) The location is excellent, especially for exploring the French Concession area and generally walking around. Especially true if you have a dog (or any travel companion who enjoys a walk!).
GGuest UserIt’s hard to beat this location, connected directly to the MRT and walking distance to so many good places on Hengshan Rd. The hotel is also beautiful, with many works of art. I would stay again if the price was reasonable.
Breakfast was mediocre, so I wouldn’t suggest paying for it. And service was not as good as some other hotels I’ve stayed in Shanghai, not the 5 star standard.
GGuest UserThe room was clean and tidy.
Hygienic: Hygienic supplies are complete.
Facilities: The shower washed a person and waited for more than 10 minutes. The temperature was screwed to the hottest, and there was no hot water. I took a cold shower and washed my feet. The air conditioner was turned on and the warm air was turned on, and the socks were hung on the heights and did not dry all night. The wet shoes were not dry all night.
JJun123456The room is clean, the breakfast is good, the staff is conscientious. The transportation is convenient and there are many attractions around.
TTianxiarenwoxingzouThe front desk service was enthusiastic and upgraded us to a room with a window free of charge. The room was clean, quiet in a busy area, and had a well-equipped bathroom. It only takes about ten minutes to walk to the nearby subway station, and there is a bus stop diagonally opposite, which is very convenient for travel or other trips. If you have time, you can also sit in the small cafe next door, take a look at the street view, and fully enjoy the leisure time.
