"Environment: The location is really remote. It is difficult to get a taxi. We have to rely on chartered cars to survive. The biggest problem of not chartering a car is that we have to eat dinner at the hotel. If we eat in the ancient city, it is difficult to get a taxi back at night. Although it is on the Napa Sea, we can't get in. There is a horse farm nearby. Napa Sea is just a place to look at and take pictures from the outside. It is quite close to the Gate of Heaven. Facilities: Maybe the business is very bad in the off-season. Cost reduction. The building that was originally quite decent to check in was closed. We changed to check in on the first floor of the residential building next to it. There are some steps when going out. If you have heavy luggage, you need to carry it. When checking in, there was an old man to help carry the luggage. When leaving, the girl at the front desk said to help carry it, but it was embarrassing to let him do it. [When I first checked in, I was given a Hada with a sense of ceremony. The result was more outrageous. When the room was cleaned, it was taken back without telling us! "We spent a week in this lovely family run hotel in the old city, surrounded by cafes and tea-shops, but still quiet. Four rooms total for guests in this house. We rented the spacious one on the 2nd floor with two king-size beds at the opposite ends of a wide living area.Modern bathroom, very big shower, state of the art toilet, and a washing machine, so that you don’t have to travel with a lot of clothes. Regional tasty breakfast provided (milk-tea, rice soup, bread, honey, bell peppers, hard boiled eggs) with the owners, around the tradtional stove in the main hall. Owners were very friendly, attentive to details, and always ready to help and assist. They took time showing us some beautiful places and picked up us. They don’t speak English, but if you speak a little Chinese or travel with someone in command of Chinese, it will be a perfect place to stay."

It was really cold in Shangri-La Haba Snow Mountain in November, but it was really great to sit in the camp and look at the Haba Snow Mountain opposite. It is very warm. If there are many people coming together, you can sing by the bonfire at night. The foot of the snow mountain is so beautiful. The owner and the proprietress of the B&B are very nice. They also raised a very well-behaved and enthusiastic German Shepherd. They can guard the house at night and ask for food when eating. Hahaha, there is also a coffee shop at the foot of the mountain, which is also super good. If the weather is good, three or two people will get together in the coffee shop at night to chat about life and look at the starry sky. It is beautiful. It happened to rain when I came to Haba Snow Mountain this time, so I didn’t see Haba Snow Mountain, but camping on rainy days has a different flavor. I always have to leave some regrets and look forward to the next wonderful encounter."

"What an amazing place… the couple runs this place so wonderfully. The husband helps us to go to wonderful places. He drove us to see beautiful place and one remote place called bottomless lake . He brought his little daughter and there cute dog . We loved every minute of our stay . Important to mention that many scenic places in Shangri La has dangerous roads but the hotel owner drive us very careful and was very sensitive to our need’s. I really recommended this hotel to foreigners even though we didn’t speed Chinese and they didn’t speak English we had everything we needed. The owner couple are wonderful people and they keep a very clean modern home stay ! Highly recommended for a fantastic home stay and experience! My son was sad to say goodbye "
