Best Xi'an Spa Hotels

Services: The hotel arrival experience was average; some staff members were friendly, while others came across as quite stern. The person who assisted with my luggage seemed a bit unfriendly, which made me hesitant to ask him any questions. The rest of the staff were generally fine, though. I appreciated the birthday cake and the decorations in my room, which certainly added to the experience. However, the overall warmth and hospitality from the staff were lacking. One moment that I found slightly insulting was when a staff member asked me if I had taken their hotel room pouch while I was waiting for my taxi to my next hotel. It felt as though they suspected me of theft. Additionally, the hotel did not provide basic amenities like a toothbrush and shower caps, and I was too fatigued from jet lag to request them. Fortunately, I had packed my own toothbrush. Restaurant: The restaurant staff provided a much better service than the hotel staff. They were polite and accommodating, in contrast to the person who assisted me with my luggage and drove the golf cart. His tone was quite off-putting, making him seem unapproachable and even confrontational at times. Facilities: The bathroom was somewhat dated, with some corners showing signs of mold. The room itself was a bit dimly lit. The highlight of my stay was definitely the private onsen and the performance of ”长恨歌!” 👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Conclusion: The money spent was well worth it for the private onsen and the VIP tickets to the ”长恨歌” show! It was truly a fantastic experience and well worth seeing.

My wife and I decided to visit Xi'an for her birthday from November 30th to December 4th, 2023, and we chose to stay at the Grand Hyatt Xi'an during that time. In short, it is an exceptional hotel, offering super delicious breakfast with a wide variety of both Western and Chinese dishes. The staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating. For examples, the gentleman in the front door of the hotel always welcomed us with very beautiful smile, the lady who took care of our room every day, displaying meticulous attention to detail that never failed to surprise us. The employees at the Italian restaurant were exceptionally kind, going above and beyond to provide extraordinary care and respect. When they discovered it was my wife's birthday, they surprised us with a small cake, decorated our table with balloons, and even offered us complimentary cocktails. Furthermore, the staff in the Lounge went out of their way to help me arrange a surprise birthday cake for my wife. They decorated the table with great care and passion, and even presented her with a thoughtful gift and a postcard, sharing their kind wishes with us. I almost forgot to mention that they also surprised me by offering a birthday cake when I was in my room. So, we ended up with three birthday cakes in one night that gave us the opportunity to share our joy and share a slice of happiness with the incredible staff. These are just some examples of their great team of their staff. Without doubt, I would highly recommend this hotel if you are planning to visit Xi'an.

First of all, let me talk about the overall evaluation. I personally give it 5 points. It is a very pleasant stay experience during the Spring Festival. Let me talk about it in detail: Geographic location: near the city wall, there are 2 subway stations nearby, and there are 2 super large shopping malls. During the 5 days of stay, we used a shared bicycle for 6.8 yuan** to go back and forth from the hotel to the subway station, which was very convenient. Eating: There is a large shopping mall called Yitian Holiday near the Chaoyangmen subway entrance of the hotel. The Chang'an food stall in the mall is a very famous snack in Xi'an. The environment and taste are super good. In-room facilities: The 2.2-meter big bed is really friendly to families with children. The store also specially added a quilt. Service: The service is very good and enthusiastic. Big praise! Sanitation: Because it was newly renovated in 2023, the hygiene is also super good. Suggestions: 1. Add a convenient clothesline in the appropriate place in the room

The price of the hotel is very good, the location is also very good, you can park at the door, the room is very spacious, a little bigger than many hotel rooms, the quality of washing and care is also very good, the takeaway is delivered by a small robot, the room is also intelligent voice control, there is ”small degree small degree”, and the gym. The laundry room can be used for free. The most important thing is that the boss sent a big fruit plate, drinks and yogurt. It is full and the experience is superb.

The two stars on service, one for concierge one for the hotel bar’s waitress (Rose 游娜，a trainee but who offered us excellent service , made up for other issue we felt being unfairly treated). The itself, being a historical building and all, looks magnificent. Even though the decor may seem dated, but inside our room was comfortable, and cosy, we got nothing to complain. Concierge would accept our deliveries and helped with luggage and all, again, nothing to complain. BUT, on the second day, the hotel housekeeping mistakenly took a huge bagful of our travel stuff ( including snacks, mini packed laundry detergents, biscuits, fruits, alcohol wipes , packed tissues etc), they simply throw away as garbage. We deliberately left it in a corner so it WONT be mistaken as rubbish. We did NOT leave it next to the bin, and we HAVE already taken out our takeaway boxes. Because we did not at all expect this to happen at a five star hotel , we did not realise it was missing until the next morning when we were getting ready to leave for train station. At this point, when we called, the hotel told us, housekeeping merely thrown out two EMPTY takeaway boxes, that was NOT true! They could confirm it from surveillance camera that it’s s about heavy yellow bag been taken out instead of two empty takeaway boxes. Yes, perhaps it’s not valuable, it’s not a gold chain or a camera, but it’s something very handy to our long journey , and their initial response was not acceptable. We are also not sure what other small things we have left inside the bag ( Because we didn’t think someone will throw it out!!!!). It was obvious it’s not a bag of garbage, if they were not sure why not keep it until we are back and ask? In all the years staying in any international five star hotel chains, we’ve never had to deal with such situation … And one more thing, made us uncomfortable, was before we depart we decided to have a drink in the hotel bar. I asked the bar staff for two Proseccos, she replied if it’s the bubbly free drink being offer upon check in. I spent about 60rmb for two sips, and only to find out it was offer for free which we never been offered upon our arrival ( was nobody else just us two on the arrival night). However. After hearing my complain, the bar staff Rose was very thoughtful gave me a second pour, I still paid, but at least feeling not as mistreated. Perhaps this just the final straw on the pile. On check out, the front desk staffs were busy, no one asked how was our stay , so I did not tell them our experience as above, I had only this one chanel to let out. Legend, not so legend. 传奇酒店让我期待已久，毕竟全球六家，而且在西安的历史建筑内，所以完全没有考虑其他酒店，哪怕我本身几乎不住索菲特，也没有用过accor的loyalty program。 酒店所在建筑的确很棒，我很喜欢，里面的设施也都达到需求。礼宾部前台都很有礼貌，让人觉得很帮助。但是我遇到了两件事，让我觉得以后恐怕不会回来。 1，我们有一个旅途中用的袋子（黄色美团超市袋，里面是一个大的绿色纸袋，因为美团袋子不怕脏放在火车站火车上地上都不担心弄脏，到家了直接拿下来丢掉即可）。里面放了各种小零食，全部可以肉眼看到没有拆开，还有路上用的小包纸巾，ole买的小包酒精湿纸巾，还有小号垃圾袋，以及旅行装洗洁精等。我们把它放在书桌边上的一个墙角，特地放得离垃圾桶区域远一些（房间也没有很多空间放东西我们也不能当路中间）。在我们用完了外卖以及快递后，按照酒店茶几上放的小牌子的要求，打电话请客房部也来收走了。我们理解古建筑立面万一染上污渍会比较难清理。 结果我们离开了一个白天，回来也没特意检查，毕竟这是我们住的地方，我也不想一天到晚防贼一样，也没有对自己的物品拍照。到了第二天我们准备收拾东西离开酒店了，发现这个袋子不见了，这是一个至少有8-10斤左右的袋子，不会轻易错过，于是我们致电酒店管家，在插叙后，告知的确丢掉，但就是一包里面两个空外卖盒… 这是让我最生气和不愿意接受的部分，不小心处理了，不能理解也得理解，但是总不能说瞎话，cctv调出来，我来看看这位清理人员拎出来的是什么东西？？？ 随便看一眼就看到里面的东西都是没有吃过没有用过，就算不确定我也能理解，为什么不放半天等客人回来了确认一下？这里面没有任何异味和汁水，存放一下并不会妨碍你们的酒店。或许对酒店来说，都是些不值钱的东西，没了就没了，有什么好抱怨的，但是将心比心，东西的价值很多时候不在意实际价钱的高低。我们在外面旅行，这些东西是我们的需求，不是钱能买的。 第二个点，我们在离店前，去酒店的酒吧喝一杯，我问吧台服务员点起泡酒（之前我在房间点过，意大利起泡酒），她问我是不是入住时候免费送的起泡酒，我当时就愣了，入住的时候，没有任何人offer我们任何到店饮品。而且到店时就我们俩没有别的客人（所以不是因为太忙）。我拿着一小杯我要付钱别人免费的起泡酒加上被丢了东西，心里不是滋味，不患寡而患不均。是，说我小气，60多一杯的酒在这儿逼逼… 我朋友点了个咖啡，我看到旁边来了另外两个客人，其中一位和一个服务员说，我上次来你们也送的哦，别忘了哦，服务员轻声说知道知道。之间随她的咖啡一起来的，是一份曲奇饼干… 看这个我们桌上孤零零的饮品，心里又是一根稻草压上去。 可能吧台一位员工看到了这个问题，她还是个实习生，也知道了我关于免费不免费起泡酒的不满，于是主动给我续了一杯酒，还拿了饼干（虽然我们也没有吃）、但是心里好受了很多。人真是奇怪的动物（我自己），确实这些都是小东西小细节不值钱可能，但是感觉不公平那就像损失了一个亿，同样是客人为什么没有标准化的服务流程，需要客人去“哭奶喝”，… 逼着大家小气。我不知道这个酒店开了多少时间，但是与传奇这个品牌相比，远远还做的不够。希望传奇品牌有的不紧是历史人物们踏足过的辉煌， 更能够创造属于自己新的传奇。

The hotel facilities were very impressive. From the moment you enter the lobby, you can feel the perfect combination of modernity and comfort. The facilities in the guest room are all available, the bedding is soft and comfortable, allowing you to have a good night's sleep; the bathroom is spacious and bright, the sanitary ware brand is high-end, and it is very easy to use. The hotel's service team is undoubtedly one of its biggest highlights. From reception to room service, every employee has demonstrated a high degree of professionalism and a warm and friendly attitude. They always have a smile on their faces, patiently answer all the guests' questions, and try their best to satisfy the guests, especially the service manager, Ms. Dong Yaping 👍

My son is a senior and will be going to an internship after the New Year. Thinking that there will be fewer people and it will be less crowded before the New Year, we planned to go to Xi'an for four days and three nights. We stayed in different hotels for the first two days, both of which were economy standard rooms, and the price was about two hundred yuan if they were clean. Meiyuan Hotel was our last night staying in Xi'an. Why did it take more than ten days to write a review? It is just because we hope that friends in the same situation as us will not make the same mistake. I read the reviews when booking the room and felt it was okay, with a high rating. The hotel also looked relatively new. When I got to the room, I took a shower first. The shower room didn't run, and the water reached my feet. As it was late, I didn't want to bother changing rooms. After I dried my hair and climbed into bed, my son, who had been looking at his phone, went to take a shower. While lying on the bed, I accidentally looked at the bathroom. I was embarrassed. It turned out that you couldn't see outside through the glass, but you could see clearly inside from the outside. I guess my son had been looking at his phone and shouldn't have noticed. In addition, the hot water had been running for a long time, so the glass was foggy and it looked a bit blurry from the outside. If you are traveling with your children, you should definitely not stay here. Although the room is big, the heating is not enough and the room is cold. I will definitely not stay here next time.

It was a very good stay. We booked a small villa for four people, and were given breakfast for four people and hot springs, as well as cupping and scraping. After the reservation was made, the staff took the initiative to contact us to confirm the check-in information and time, and created a special WeChat group. After checking in at the hotel, a battery car was specially delivered to the door of the villa, and the staff accompanied us to introduce the situation in the villa. During the stay, if you have any needs, just send them directly to the group and someone will reply and solve them immediately. It is also very convenient to pick up and drop off by car wherever you want to go. The two bedrooms in the villa are also very spacious, with a small yard and a terrace. The overall experience is much better than that of ordinary hotel rooms. My family also gave unanimous praise, but it felt a little rushed after only staying for one night. In addition, the hot spring pool in the villa was not open, so it was not very convenient to go to another place to soak in the hot spring, but it was still very good overall. I especially like the staff. They responded very quickly and were friendly and kind, which really made people feel happy. I highly recommend the stay experience.

In order to accommodate an important academic conference, our room was upgraded to the adjacent Building 2. Very satisfied. The hotel is located in a courtyard, where a series of venues for conferences and accommodation are located together, and the services in each unit are very good. The building is several decades old. The interior decoration is simple and elegant, while the facilities are quite modern and indeed high-end. There is a small square and fountain in the yard, which is highly green. All kinds of vehicles enter and exit in an orderly manner, and the service is in place. There are young brothers and uncles to guide outdoors in the evening (although Xi'an is not too hot these days, it is still very hard, thank you). The service in the hotel and conference venue is warm and thoughtful, almost responsive and friendly. The Legend Hotel next door has a small exhibition room of the hotel's history, which is very interesting. The breakfast was delicious, I liked the authentic yogurt and was very satisfied.

This hotel is at a superb location just next to 不夜城. However, to go to Metro need a long walk. Breakfast has wide selection of food. Bed is very comfortable. We also tried the buffet dinner which is great. Also visited the free ticket to basement museum which is quite a good scale and collections. Truly enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. Highly recommended although price is not cheap.
