Hotel near Zhonggulou Square (Downtown),Xi'an
The hotel is located in the heart of Xi'an's Central Business District, near the site of the Tang Dynasty Secretariat and adjacent to Qiaozikou Station on Metro Line 6. Public transportation is convenient: Metro Line 2 takes about 30 minutes directly to Xi'an North Railway Station and 50 minutes to Xi'an Xianyang International Airport. Shuttle services are also available upon reservation (charged by vehicle type, advance booking required). The lobby features a museum exhibition area, immersing guests in Han and Tang dynasty culture and historical ambiance from the moment they enter. Surrounded by numerous attractions and markets, the hotel offers easy access to key destinations: Zhonggulou Square is an 8-minute walk away or accessible via Metro Line 6 transferring to Line 2 at Zhonglou Station; Huimin Street (Beiyuanmen / Xiyangshi) is just a 3-minute walk away, offering vibrant local life; Xiaonanmen Morning Market (Hanguangmen) is about 10 minutes on foot, where you can experience traditional morning life in old Xi'an; Shuncheng Alley, Shuyuanmen, and Xiangzi Temple form a cultural trail within a 15-minute walk, or reachable by walking from Yongningmen Station on Metro Line 2. Dayanta and Daming Lake Night City can be reached by transferring from Metro Line 2 to Line 3 at Dayanta Station—just 20 minutes away, where you can enjoy dazzling light shows and musical fountains before strolling to the night city. Emphasizing museum-inspired design, Song-style aesthetics, Han palace elements, and Tang culture, the hotel specializes in spacious two-bedroom suites with one living room and two bathrooms. Each suite features open, airy layouts with dry-wet separation, blending ancient charm with modern comfort. On-site amenities include a meditation and scripture-copying room, tea lounge, and fitness center. Complimentary buffet breakfast and coffee afternoon tea are provided, catering to diverse needs such as family trips and cultural stays, allowing guests to fully immerse themselves in the thousand-year heritage of Chang'an.

"We were looking for a place to really immerse ourselves in Xi'an with our elderly parents and young children, and settling on the 'Guardians of Han and Tang Museum Holiday Mansion' was an absolute stroke of genius. The overall experience was simply amazing, truly the perfect spot for a family vacation. The location is utterly unbeatable. It's super close to Qiaozikou subway station, and you can easily walk to the Muslim Quarter and Sajinqiao Street. This made trying local snacks and visiting popular spots incredibly convenient – no hassle with transport at all. The building itself is built upon Tang Dynasty ruins, and the decor perfectly blends the elegant essence of the Han and Tang dynasties with a modern, minimalist touch. Ancient artifacts and rubbings are displayed everywhere, creating an incredible atmosphere. Whether it's the courtyards, corridors, tea rooms, or guest rooms, the settings are all steeped in ancient charm. Every photo you take here turns out like a beautifully staged shot. The room we stayed in was spacious and never felt cramped. The multi-bed layout was ideal for a family. The bedding was wonderfully soft and comfortable, and the mattress had just the right firmness. After a full day of sightseeing, we could just lie down and feel our fatigue melt away. Both the kids and elders slept soundly. The in-room amenities were very thoughtful, including an all-in-one washer-dryer, which made keeping clothes clean during a longer trip a breeze. The large refrigerator was great for storing local specialties and snacks, and there was a constant supply of bottled water and drinks, always convenient. The soundproofing throughout the entire building was particularly impressive; despite the bustling streets outside, closing the window brought complete silence indoors, ensuring an undisturbed rest. The public areas offered an unexpectedly rich array of facilities, covering dining, accommodation, and leisure all in one place. The daily breakfast spread was diverse, featuring many local specialties – an authentic Shaanxi breakfast that was both warming and filling. In the afternoon, they offered an exquisite afternoon tea, served with the hotel's exclusive local specialty teas, making for a delightfully relaxing experience of sipping tea and enjoying pastries. During leisure time, the elders could savor special teas in the tea room or practice calligraphy peacefully in the study room. Younger guests could work out in the gym, and there's a dedicated children's play area for kids to run around freely. If you needed to work, conference rooms were available, balancing both leisure and business. This entire residence exudes a rich cultural atmosphere of a Han and Tang museum, while also providing complete and excellent home-like facilities. It's quiet, spacious, and covers dining, entertainment, and fun – with a washer-dryer, special tea drinks, morning and afternoon tea, and ancient-style photo ops, all included. We'll definitely be back next time! 😊"

This is a grand and impressive hot spring resort, reminiscent of an era of economic prosperity. My friend and I had an excellent stay during the Dragon Boat Festival. Although the hotel opened in 2017, every part of the architecture, rooms, and gardens are exceptionally well-maintained. Plus, it wasn't overly crowded, and the hot spring water was clean and of great quality. They even provided a fruit platter while we were soaking. The service truly touched me. From arrival to departure, enthusiastic staff members were constantly helping us with luggage, guiding us, and providing buggy transfers. On our second morning, it was raining, and the front desk proactively asked if we'd like room service. The breakfast they delivered was incredibly generous. It's a shame my friend and I arrived a bit late and missed out on the complimentary activities offered by the hotel. However, the staff patiently confirmed everything with us, which made my experience feel complete. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who enjoys a good staycation.

This time, my family and I chose to stay at W Xi'an again. The hotel is located in the heart of Qujiang, right by Qujiang Pond. It's just a few minutes' taxi ride to the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Everbright City – truly a superb location. The room features a panoramic view balcony, and the bedding is soft with excellent soundproofing. The toiletries and Dyson hairdryer are a nice touch. The breakfast offers a mix of Chinese and Western options, with authentic local roujiamo, zenggao, and oil-splashed noodles. Winnie, a staff member, was proactive and thoughtful throughout our stay. We'll definitely choose this place again next time we're in Xi'an!

I'd heard great things about this hotel for a while, and even though it was a bit far from where I needed to be, I still chose to stay at the Legend. It lived up to expectations and was definitely worth the price. 'Historic, elegant, and high-quality' – that pretty much sums up my overall impression. Upon check-in, they upgraded my room, which was a very thoughtful gesture. The facilities are incredibly well-maintained, indicating excellent materials, meticulous management, and careful upkeep. The off-white seating in the public areas was spotless, instantly reassuring me about the hotel's hygiene. The courtyard was smaller than I imagined, but the greenery and layout were very pleasant, especially the centuries-old trees that seemed to stand guard, inspiring a sense of reverence. The guest room was comfortably and tastefully appointed, with multiple small, opening windows – a refreshing change from the large, fashionable windows often found today – offering a more residential feel and excellent privacy for different functional areas. The breakfast was exceptional, with both a buffet and à la carte options. The ingredients were fresh and high-quality, and it was absolutely delicious! When I returned to the hotel around noon after my errands, they kindly extended my check-out until 2 PM. The service was delightful; they diligently helped me with my luggage both upon arrival and departure, making me feel right at home. A special thank you to Derek Yang, Jack, Andi, Leo, Eva, and others.

JW Marriott consistently delivers, and this JW Marriott in Xi'an is no exception. The facilities, service, ambiance, and public areas are all excellent. The executive lounge offers panoramic views from a high floor, and the atmosphere is superb, making for a very comfortable stay. Monica from guest relations provided a thoughtful and attentive farewell message when I checked out. I'll definitely come back if I have the chance. Overall, my stay was incredibly peaceful and comfortable. Also, the breakfast here is better than at the Maoye JW Marriott in Taiyuan.

Our trip to Xi'an was made extra special and warm, all thanks to Judy. Before we even arrived, she proactively contacted us to confirm our needs. Hearing we had a child, she went ahead and prepared the sofa bed and even set out latex pillows. During our stay, her responses were always prompt, and she kindly helped us with a late check-out. These seemingly small gestures made us, being far from home, feel truly supported. The hotel itself also added a lot to our experience – the high-floor views were superb, the Silk Road-inspired design was very photogenic, and the Roujiamo and Zenggao for breakfast were authentically delicious. But what truly stands out the most for me is Judy's genuine warmth and kindness. Thank you, Grand Hyatt Xi'an, and even more so, thank you, Judy, for making this ancient city feel so welcoming and memorable to us.

Beautiful large hotel. Only problem - airconditioning not functioning. Metro a short walk. Bus stop outside. Good location. Quiet area. Seafood downstairs, did not eat there. Chinese next door, we did eat at was excellent ( esp the aubergine). Fruit and snacks from vendors outside. Pool is an adequate size for a short dip in the evening to help relax.

I saw some negative reviews online before, but after much deliberation, I still chose The Ritz. Let me share my genuine experience. From the moment I arrived at the hotel lobby from the airport, the doorman proactively opened the car door and took my luggage. My luggage was delivered to my room very quickly, even before I got there myself. When I checked in at the front desk, the lady was very enthusiastic and proactively provided me with a Xi'an travel guide. The customized room card was made by sending a picture via WeChat, and it was also delivered to my room very quickly. The lion souvenir was purchased at the spa center on the fifth floor, and the staff there were very enthusiastic in their介绍 (introduction). What impressed me most was the duty manager, Judy. She was very kind, responded quickly to everything, and resolved issues efficiently. Lydia was also very welcoming. Even the housekeeping staff were very friendly and polite. Although the hotel has been open for a while, the facilities are still excellent. The room felt very cozy and inviting. As for breakfast, there was a wide variety of options to choose from to suit individual tastes, and the ambiance was fantastic. Upon entering, you need to swipe your room card, and then someone will escort you to your seat and ask what you'd like to drink. Overall, staying at The Ritz-Carlton Xi'an added a unique experience to my trip to Xi'an. It's definitely worth staying and experiencing.
