MengbimamaDuring my trip to Xi'an, I stayed at three premium hotels: The Ritz-Carlton, W, and Huaqing Palace Hot Springs. I'm very grateful they upgraded our room to a lake-view for our two-night stay, and as a Marriott member, breakfast was included for my child! The W is trendy and perfect for young people, but it's also great for families. The room was spacious, and housekeeping kept it impeccably clean. The cleaning staff were very polite. The massive balcony overlooked South Lake. Xi'an wasn't hot during our stay, so sitting on the balcony in the evenings enjoying the cool breeze was lovely, and we even saw dragon boats on the lake! The W's breakfast, as always, was outstanding—the most extensive of the three hotels. We ate so much that we could skip lunch! They offered both Chinese and Western options, with authentic Roujiamo, Biangbiang noodles, and Zun糕 (steamed rice cake). The bread selection was extensive, and the cream croissants were delicious. There were also many juice varieties. We also had the pleasure of participating in the 'Golden Peach Secret Agent' activity for kids! Staff led the children on a one-hour tour of the hotel, explaining the stories behind the decor and artwork. My child was thrilled and even showed us around afterward! We also tried the hotel's Chinese restaurant, which offered à la carte dishes and a noodle bar; the three-shrimp noodles were delicious! Getting around was easy, with taxis readily available, and it's close to the Grand Tang Everbright City. In the evening, we were given two complimentary cocktails, and the singer at the bar had a beautiful voice!

Guest UserAn absolutely wonderful experience! The hotel is super close to Longshouyuan subway station; you can see the hotel name right as you exit. The room was very clean and tidy, and the facilities were complete and well-maintained. The service was also excellent; anything we requested was brought to our room quickly! The breakfast was delicious 😋 with both Chinese and Western options, and the food selection changed slightly every day! The hotel even provided a cake for my birthday! Upon check-out, they gave us a super cute cultural and creative fridge magnet as a souvenir! Overall, it was a very satisfying hotel stay!

Guest UserI bought a two-night package deal and stayed at different times, so I got to experience what I believe is the only 'Legend' hotel in China. I called the front desk in advance to request an extra bed (I also submitted this through Ctrip), but there was no pre-stay concierge service. I did receive a call from Ctrip saying the hotel mentioned a charge for the extra bed, but I didn't get a direct call from the hotel itself. On our first day, we arrived around 11:30 AM, but the room wasn't ready yet, and we only got the key after 2 PM. The front desk offered welcome drinks, and the service was decent. A big thank you to the service staff at the entrance who helped with our luggage. I also saw some staff quickly grabbing umbrellas for guests caught in the rain, which was really thoughtful. This made the front desk service seem a bit indifferent by comparison. Before my second stay, I did receive a call asking about my preferences, which I appreciated. The hotel's location is peaceful yet central, and it has a strong sense of history. The room has a separate living area and bedroom. The living area felt a bit cramped, and with an extra bed, there was hardly any space to move around, so we ended up making a bed on the sofa, which was fine for one adult. The room's details were well-executed and comfortable to use. The hotel's breakfast buffet had limited options, but the à la carte menu offered both Chinese and Western dishes. The Eggs Benedict were served on a 'mo' (a type of steamed bun), which was very Xi'an. The spicy soup (Húlàtāng) was delicious, and I asked the chef for a freshly baked 'mo' to soak in it – a true Xi'an way of eating. The 'Zènggāo' (steamed glutinous rice cake) was better than what you find outside.

Guest UserOur trip to Xi'an was made extra special and warm, all thanks to Judy.
Before we even arrived, she proactively contacted us to confirm our needs. Hearing we had a child, she went ahead and prepared the sofa bed and even set out latex pillows. During our stay, her responses were always prompt, and she kindly helped us with a late check-out. These seemingly small gestures made us, being far from home, feel truly supported.
The hotel itself also added a lot to our experience – the high-floor views were superb, the Silk Road-inspired design was very photogenic, and the Roujiamo and Zenggao for breakfast were authentically delicious. But what truly stands out the most for me is Judy's genuine warmth and kindness. Thank you, Grand Hyatt Xi'an, and even more so, thank you, Judy, for making this ancient city feel so welcoming and memorable to us.

MingxijiezoufaI saw some negative reviews online before, but after much deliberation, I still chose The Ritz. Let me share my genuine experience. From the moment I arrived at the hotel lobby from the airport, the doorman proactively opened the car door and took my luggage. My luggage was delivered to my room very quickly, even before I got there myself. When I checked in at the front desk, the lady was very enthusiastic and proactively provided me with a Xi'an travel guide. The customized room card was made by sending a picture via WeChat, and it was also delivered to my room very quickly. The lion souvenir was purchased at the spa center on the fifth floor, and the staff there were very enthusiastic in their介绍 (introduction). What impressed me most was the duty manager, Judy. She was very kind, responded quickly to everything, and resolved issues efficiently. Lydia was also very welcoming. Even the housekeeping staff were very friendly and polite. Although the hotel has been open for a while, the facilities are still excellent. The room felt very cozy and inviting. As for breakfast, there was a wide variety of options to choose from to suit individual tastes, and the ambiance was fantastic. Upon entering, you need to swipe your room card, and then someone will escort you to your seat and ask what you'd like to drink. Overall, staying at The Ritz-Carlton Xi'an added a unique experience to my trip to Xi'an. It's definitely worth staying and experiencing.

Guest UserThe room wasn't as bad as it looked in the pictures, but it also wasn't as bright due to the windows. I went on a Sunday, and there was a conference, two weddings, and a child's birthday party? The public areas were better maintained than the room facilities. The F&B department seemed a bit disorganized, but everything else was okay. The front desk staff was very welcoming, and the concierge called ahead to communicate.

This garden-style Western classical old building is steeped in history, offering a quiet retreat in the midst of a bustling area with convenient transportation. The breakfast is abundant, and there's a restaurant nearby, especially the Japanese buffet, which is definitely worth trying – great value for money.
