Anonymous UserAs one of the top hot spring hotels in the country, the check-in experience was truly impressive. The guest rooms come with private hot springs, and it was my first time experiencing hot spring water that circulates all day. From 7 PM to midnight every evening, the hot springs continuously and automatically circulate, allowing guests to enjoy a soak even after returning from the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance. This washes away travel fatigue, making for an excellent experience. The next day, guests can visit the Baoji Pool outdoor public hot springs, which offer a secluded outdoor environment with low traffic and spacious surroundings, making for a very pleasant hot spring experience.
Regarding dining, breakfast is served at the Royal Dining Hall. The hotel provides a shuttle service for transportation, saving guests the walk and a lot of time. The restaurant service is attentive and thoughtful, and they even specially prepared authentic Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) on the spot, which was full of flavor. Dinner is also served here, and I highly recommend the braised Yellow River soft-shelled turtle; it's definitely worth trying. The hotel's location is a significant advantage, with an exclusive access channel to the Huaqing Palace, making it very convenient to enter and exit the scenic area.
I also want to provide honest feedback on some areas for improvement: The front desk and shuttle staff were a bit stiff in their demeanor, lacking warmth and giving off a distant vibe, as if their workplace was too high-end. Also, the cleanliness details in the public areas need improvement. I found traces of small insects inside drawers, so I recommend strengthening deep disinfection and daily cleaning and maintenance.

The best decision I made on this trip to Xi'an was choosing the W Hotel. From the moment I stepped into the lobby, I was blown away. The 17-meter high ceiling with a giant spiral chandelier changes colors with the music, and the floating staircase feels like it leads to the future. This blend of Tang Dynasty charm and cyberpunk design is incredibly 'trendy.'
The room was an even bigger surprise. The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows paired with an oversized scenic balcony offered breathtaking views of Qujiang Lake, perfect for catching the sunset. The quality was evident everywhere, from the smart voice control for the entire room to the bathtub by the window, Dyson hairdryer, and Bliss toiletries. The bedding was so soft, I never wanted to get up once I lay down.
The location is also impeccable, right next to Qujiang Lake Heritage Park and within walking distance of Datang Everbright City. You can explore historical sites by day and return to the hotel to capture neon-lit photos by night – two atmospheres with one switch.
Breakfast at the ALL DAY DINING restaurant offered a fantastic spread, from authentic Roujiamo and Biangbiang noodles to Cantonese dim sum. In the evening, I headed to WOOBAR for a special 'Chang'an Twelve Hours' cocktail, enjoying the ancient city's night view with a slight buzz – simply perfect.
What truly topped it off was the service. From the efficient check-in at the front desk with a welcome drink to the concierge's enthusiastic recommendations for local eateries, every detail made me feel exceptionally well taken care of. In short, this wasn't just a hotel stay; it was an immersive, trendy experience that transcended time. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Xi'an.

jinageVery satisfied!
Facilities: All the fixtures are brand new. The shower pressure is great and very comfortable. There's no old or worn-out feeling as some negative reviews mentioned, only understated luxury.
Cleanliness: It's cleaned very well every day, and they even noticed we had a child and thoughtfully left two extra bottles of water, which was very attentive and considerate.
Ambiance: The antique-style decor is in keeping with the age of the hotel, and both the kids and elders really enjoyed this style. Since we're in a thousand-year-old capital, of course, we want to stay in a hotel with historical charm! There's a bronze carriage in the lobby and Tang Sancai pottery in the room, giving a feeling of traveling back 5000 years. My child even said our hotel is like a museum!
Service: From check-in to check-out, every staff member we encountered was smiling and had an excellent attitude.

Guest UserJust checked out on July 11th, and I absolutely have to give this hotel a big shout-out! Xi'an has been scorching hot lately, like a steaming basket, but the moment you step into the lobby, a blast of cool air instantly revives you. The hotel is located in the Gaoxin CBD, and the Zhangba Yilu Station of Metro Line 6 is just a few minutes' walk downstairs. A taxi ride to the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City takes only about ten to twenty minutes. Although it's a bit further from the Bell Tower, this area is quiet, with skyscrapers all around. They look especially beautiful when lit up at night, making for great photo opportunities.
Parking is also a breeze. We drove here, and the hotel has a public underground parking lot, which is free to use and even has EV charging spots, making it very friendly for electric car owners – no need to hunt for chargers when you go out.
Food is definitely not an issue – directly opposite is Yitian Holiday Plaza, just cross the street. We had a Shaanxi meal at Chang'an Grand Theater (Gaoxin Yitian store), complete with Gourd Chicken and Brush Pastry. For convenience, we also tried Wei Family Liangpi downstairs, which was filling for around 20+ RMB per person. If you want something nicer, there's Haidilao, Xu Ji Seafood, and Xiaoxiang Pavilion all in the mall, with so many options you'll be spoilt for choice. The hotel's own breakfast is also highly recommended; the Roujiamo (meat burger) is freshly made, crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and they also have oil-splashed noodles – eating them makes you sweat and feels incredibly refreshing.
Indeed, the room is spacious, and the floor-to-ceiling windows offer an unbeatable view. The most thoughtful part is the powerful air conditioning; we even had to use the duvet at night because it wasn't hot at all. The amenities smell great, and they provided plenty of bottled water, which was super practical in this heat. The bed was really comfortable, and the soundproofing was good too; I slept soundly until morning.
I originally wanted to go for a swim to cool off but didn't get the chance; I'll definitely make up for it next time. The service was also impeccable; they quickly helped us call a taxi when we left. For this price, to stay in such quality, it's truly worth it. Highly recommended!

D F KhavandBeautiful large hotel. Only problem - airconditioning not functioning.
Metro a short walk. Bus stop outside. Good location. Quiet area.
Seafood downstairs, did not eat there. Chinese next door, we did eat at was excellent ( esp the aubergine). Fruit and snacks from vendors outside. Pool is an adequate size for a short dip in the evening to help relax.

MumunianAfter much deliberation for this trip, I chose The Westin Hotel. It's conveniently located next to the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda, and the Grand Tang Dynasty Everbright City is within walking distance. The overall design features Tang Dynasty-style courtyards, with a grand lobby exuding ancient charm. The guest rooms are spacious and comfortable, and some even offer views of the pagoda's night scenery. The hotel boasts a full range of facilities, including a swimming pool and a gym. Breakfast offers a wide variety of choices, with many local Xi'an flavors to sample. During the summer, it was noticeable that the hotel was quite busy, with the restaurant usually full between 8:00 AM and 9:30 AM. Since the hotel opened quite a while ago, some facilities show their age slightly, but overall, it's clean and well-maintained.
Upon check-in, the hotel provided complimentary tickets to the Qujiang Art Museum, which is directly accessible via an elevator from the hotel lobby. The main exhibition hall showcases exquisite gold and jade artifacts, with dazzling Ming and Qing dynasty gold jewelry and jade pieces. There are also ceramic exhibition halls and a Picasso exhibition. You can scan QR codes to listen to audio guides, and a thorough visit takes about an hour and a half. Staying here allows you to leisurely visit the Giant Wild Goose Pagoda in the evening and explore the Everbright City at night, saving you the hassle of commuting. The nearby Joy City offers convenient shopping and dining options. During my stay, coffee and milk tea ordered were promptly delivered to my room by robots.

She accurately grasped my requests and handled things professionally and reliably. It was a very comfortable experience overall, and I'm extremely satisfied! The hotel's location is excellent, and the in-house restaurant service is also superb. The hotel is right by Nanhu Lake, making morning and evening strolls around the lake very enjoyable and relaxing.

There were a few minor issues and misunderstandings during my last stay, but the hotel handled everything proactively and resolved the problems quickly. This time, I had more time to really experience the hotel. First off, the location is excellent, very close to the high-speed rail station, and there are malls nearby, making dining and shopping super convenient. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, actively asking about guests' needs and even offering welcome fruit. Although the hotel has been around for some years, the facilities are well-maintained and look very new. I especially want to commend how incredibly clean everything is. The housekeeping staff were very polite, always greeting me when we met. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I'll definitely choose this hotel again in the future and recommend it to friends and family.
