MM14220****Extremely satisfied! Although the hotel is pricey, it's absolutely worth every penny. 1️⃣ Unlimited access to the Huaqing Palace scenic area. To be precise, the hotel is actually part of Huaqing Palace itself! And breakfast is served inside Huaqing Palace! The ambiance is fantastic. You get to enjoy Huaqing Palace all to yourself before the tourists arrive. In the evening, when watching the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' show, you don't have to queue with the crowds; you just walk straight in through a small hotel gate (since the show is also within Huaqing Palace). It's amazing! 2️⃣ The hot springs are incredible. Even though we booked a room without a private hot spring, there's a communal outdoor hot spring in the courtyard. The best part? There was hardly anyone there, making it feel like a huge private hot spring! After watching the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' at night, you can just step out of your room to soak in the hot spring, admire the moon, and watch the artificial snow falling during the show. So relaxing, and the water was perfectly hot and comfortable. 3️⃣ We received complimentary tickets to the Baoji Pool hot springs, and hotel guests can also enjoy the carbonic acid pool. Although the carbonic acid pool is a bit cooler, it has a big TV! We could eat fruit and multigrain porridge while watching a movie and soaking, and we even caught some snowfall – truly exceptional! 4️⃣ All the hotel staff wear Hanfu (traditional Chinese clothing) and have excellent attitudes. I was worried about getting cold watching the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow,' and they even provided a small blanket and hand warmers. There are also intangible cultural heritage craft activities, making it perfect for a hotel staycation! 5️⃣ The complimentary Jinghong travel photography service was particularly good, including makeup and styling. In winter, you can choose red or pink-blue Hanfu. The makeup artist and photographer were both excellent, and we received three free digital photos, leaving us with a wonderful souvenir. 6️⃣ The room also had a mini-bar, featuring Xi'an specialties like Bingfeng soda, sour plum soup, and pomegranate juice, making up for not having tried them elsewhere. There was also NFC orange juice, capsule coffee, and more. Most importantly, they offered a late-night dessert soup (wan'an zhou)! Enjoying two bowls of Yinhe soup after watching the 'Song of Everlasting Sorrow' was simply delightful. The quality of the complimentary fruit in the room was also very good.

XXiaoqiyaWe stayed for two nights, on the 16th and 17th. On the 15th, I received a call from the hotel asking about our room preferences. I requested a room with a good view, non-smoking, and quiet. When we checked in, the staff assigned us room 213. This was the lowest floor I've ever stayed on in a hotel, and it was room number 13! I was surprised that the hotel actually had a room 13! How could an international hotel like this assign room 13 to a foreigner? During afternoon tea that day, besides my husband, myself, and an Asian mother and daughter, all the other guests were foreigners. This made me realize even more why I was so unlucky to get room 13! This hotel has such a unique room number 13, and they treat their own compatriots differently from foreigners! However, the smart toilet in room 13 was broken. It wouldn't automatically lift the lid or flush when you stood in front of it. What was even more unbearable was that as soon as you sat on it, the toilet would make a loud gurgling sound and automatically spray water on your backside. We tried it twice, and it happened both times. Also, the light switch was malfunctioning and didn't work. As a result, our room was changed to room 206. Neither room 13 nor room 06 had a French garden view; you could only see trees outside the window. Room 06 overlooked a concrete platform. I stayed during the off-season, and there were only a handful of guests at both afternoon tea and breakfast. Even during the peak breakfast time at 8 AM, there were only four tables with no more than ten guests. In such an off-season, why couldn't they offer us a higher floor with a better view? The male butler from the hotel called in advance on the 15th to ask about my room preferences; wasn't that just being insincere and fake? The staff's service level was inconsistent. Two female servers at afternoon tea and breakfast simply didn't observe guests' needs. The slim, tall female server in the afternoon tea restaurant had an ice-cold expression and no proactive service awareness. One female server in the breakfast restaurant looked like she hadn't woken up yet, with messy hair, no makeup, and ill-fitting work clothes, completely lacking the demeanor of a star-rated hotel employee. More importantly, this server didn't proactively observe guests' tables. Every time, we had to call her to take away the empty plates. Even more exaggerated, when she took away empty plates, she wouldn't simultaneously take away empty cups, nor would she think to ask. Let's talk about the problems with the breakfast restaurant: First, the flowers on the dining tables were fake! For a 'diamond-level' hotel like this, how can they put fake flowers on the tables? If they want to save costs, there are many ways: place some air plants or soilless succulents, or even small, easy-to-care-for plants. Anything real would be more tasteful than these fake ones. Regardless, a 'diamond-level' hotel should not have fake flowers on its dining tables. This is disrespectful to guests. Second, there was a wide variety of bread, but no chain-type toaster to heat the bread. This is usually a staple at the bread station in five-star hotels. Yet, at this 'super five-star' hotel, you can only eat cold bread for breakfast. Third, the restaurant only provided toothpicks, not dental floss sticks. Nowadays, even very ordinary restaurants offer dental floss sticks. A 'diamond-level' hotel like this should provide guests with dental floss sticks, and ideally, toothpick brushes. Additionally, the steps in the bathrooms of both room 13 and room 06 were damaged. In room 13, the hotel actually used cheap, uneven gray adhesive corner guards, which looked very out of place and clashed with the exquisite French decor. They should have used brass stair nosings! During my two-day stay at the hotel, Ms. Doris Du's kindness, politeness, proactive work attitude, and professional image left a very good impression on me. After we checked in and received our key, she led us to our room. She first gave us a tour of the hotel and introduced its history. On the day we checked out, she happened to be on duty at the front desk. She was the only staff member at the hotel who immediately stood up to greet guests upon seeing them! The only one! This small professional gesture of hers was like the first ray of sunshine in the morning, warming my heart! Recalling my check-in, there was a male and female staff member at the front desk. They did not stand up to greet us when guests checked in. When we received our room cards and got up to leave, they remained seated without moving. This is disrespectful to guests. Staff should stand up to greet guests when they arrive, ask them to sit down, and then sit down themselves to process the check-in. When guests receive their room cards and get up, the staff should also stand up to see them off. Such basic courtesies of polite welcome and farewell were completely lacking! On the day I checked in, I had two items of clothing that needed ironing. The female staff member who was on duty at the front desk that day came to our room to collect them. During the process of opening the door to see her, handing her the clothes, and briefly communicating with her, she maintained an ice-cold demeanor throughout, without a hint of a smile. She was not the only female staff member in this hotel who provided service without a smile. In summary, all these issues, and more, expose the hotel's unprofessional training and inadequate management. Sofitel Legend People's Grand Hotel Xian is not directly affiliated with the Sofitel group; it is part of the People's Grand Building owned by Shaanxi Urban Investment and Operations Group Co., Ltd., and is operated by AccorHotels, a French hotel management group. Therefore, the experience was vastly different from the Sofitel hotels I've stayed at abroad.

詠詠許The moment we stepped out of the elevator, a delightful aroma greeted us, leading us into the elegant lobby on the 16th floor. The decor here is tasteful and the atmosphere refined. Several friendly and professional front desk ladies provided excellent service during our check-in. Our room was spacious and comfortable, beautifully furnished, and fully equipped with all kinds of amenities and toiletries. The bed was wonderfully soft, ensuring a deep and restful sleep. Even the bathtub water temperature was just right, making bath time especially enjoyable. The hotel's location is near the Drum Tower, with a variety of restaurants in the vicinity. This is our top choice for a trip to Xi'an, and we will definitely return to this warm and wonderful place in the future! Every penny spent was worth it – the lavish breakfast, exquisite afternoon tea and late-night snacks, and the memorable red wine at the rooftop bar! I truly wish we had booked a few more nights! Many thanks to all the lovely ladies and gentlemen for their warm hospitality! 🌹

XXuemiaomiao22The hotel has a lovely courtyard with a small bridge and flowing water, giving it an overall Chinese aesthetic. The room was quite spacious, and I loved how the living area was separated from the sleeping area by a screen. The bedding was comfortable and clean, and the breakfast spread was generous. The service was enthusiastic. The only minor flaw was that the automatic curtain controls weren't very clearly labeled. Also, there was a wedding the day we stayed, and guests started making noise outside around 7 AM, which lasted for about an hour. It's not far from the Big Wild Goose Pagoda and the Grand Tang Everbright City. Overall, I recommend it.

MmikommyWe booked a Deluxe Room (70 sqm, with an open-plan layout featuring a sofa and bed in one spacious area) and a Family Room (which felt like four rooms in one, starting with a small living room, then the bedroom, followed by a dressing room, and finally the bathroom). The evening spread at the Grand Club Lounge was excellent, with themes changing daily – we enjoyed American and Korean cuisine during our stay. Both rooms were very large and comfortable. There are plenty of restaurants just a 500-meter walk away. The Grand Hyatt series definitely offers great value for money!

1118759****On the first day of check-in, the front desk didn't inform us that due to external renovations, the room type we originally booked with the expected view couldn't be arranged. After I went back to inquire about it, the front desk staff explained the situation and helped us change rooms. However, the new room had hair on one of the beds 😂. Although the staff handled our requests promptly, the overall service didn't feel very warm or enthusiastic, which really goes against the standards expected for a hotel of this caliber. I had originally booked for three consecutive nights, but I decisively changed hotels.

MM224292****I booked an all-inclusive room for one night at 1399 yuan. The good thing is that I booked early, so there was no price increase for New Year's Day. The downside is that it was incredibly crowded during the holiday. Check-in took about an hour, and then we waited another hour for the room. Plus, it was cold, so we didn't even make it to the hot springs once. First off, some of the services included in the all-inclusive package, like car washing and manicures, are actually standard hotel offerings. The all-inclusive deal just means the butler can help book them in advance, which is nice when it's busy and you don't want to queue on the spot. The most worthwhile part was the dining: it included a double buffet hot pot dinner, a double Chinese meal, a double afternoon tea, and a one-time snack selection. The food and coffee were quite good. Among the children's activities, the pet park was clean and odorless, with kittens, bunnies, guinea pigs, and piglets. However, adults accompanying children need to buy a ticket, and feeding requires purchasing additional food, which added up to almost 100 yuan per person. My less positive experiences were that takeaway coffee at breakfast cost 45 yuan. In my experience, hotels usually offer complimentary takeaway services, or at least provide disposable cups for guests to take drinks with them. Also, the public areas of the hotel, like the swimming pool and corridors, were generally quite cold. Overall, the service was good; the staff were very good at greeting guests. Our butler, Wen Nuan, was very thoughtful and helpful. While we were queuing for check-in, she helped us redeem a voucher so the kids could go play first, which saved a lot of time, and she also gave them a small gift.

AAnonymous UserThe hotel is right at the airport. The front desk staff gave very detailed and patient directions. After arriving at the airport by subway, you don't need to exit the station; just look for Terminal 3. The hotel rooms have bathtubs, and the faucets have strong water pressure with adjustable temperature. Check-in was convenient.

MM432943****I stayed for two nights. During check-in, I sat in the lobby for a while and accidentally left my wallet there. I didn't realize it was missing until I was already preparing to head back to Changsha. I called the hotel, and they had kept my wallet safe and sound. I'm so incredibly grateful! I'll definitely choose this hotel again on my next visit to Xi'an. This experience has certainly increased my positive impression of Hilton.

GGuest UserI recently checked out after a five-night stay, and I would like to express my sincere appreciation to the hotel and its wonderful team. This stay exceeded my expectations in many ways. First of all, the hotel’s atmosphere is relaxing and welcoming. The interior design of the guest rooms is beautifully done, with thoughtful details that create a very comfortable environment. The location is also excellent and convenient for getting around the city. The food was delicious as well, making the overall experience even more enjoyable. However, what impressed me most—far beyond everything else—was the exceptional level of service provided by the staff. Every staff member I met was warm, cheerful, enthusiastic, and truly willing to help. Among them, I would like to give special recognition to Yang Fan (杨凡). Her service went far beyond my expectations. I have stayed in many hotels, but I have never encountered service of this level before. She assisted me with many things throughout my stay: helping me purchase daily necessities I needed, arranging a massage appointment, contacting the mobile service provider regarding a new phone number, and many other thoughtful tasks. Because of her sincere care and support, I felt so comfortable and well taken care of that I decided to extend my stay from two nights to five nights. This hotel made my trip truly pleasant, and I will definitely return on my next visit. Thank you for a wonderful and memorable stay.
