BBel.z.bubAmazing service and rooms. Very quiet in general. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. Beds are soft and fresh, and rooms are spacious and clean. Did not opt to have breakfast at the hotel, but there are several shops nearby, including a 24h convenience store. It is extremely well located with a metro station nearby. There are also several restaurants at the metro station and in the surrounding streets, all worth trying!

GGuest UserWe stayed at Qixi Guest House in Dayi, Sichuan with our two kids and chose the River View Loft Room — and it was such a lovely experience. The room was very clean and comfortable. Our kids absolutely loved it because they had their own space in the loft area. There were plush toys and books prepared for them, which made it even more special. The loft area also had a warmer, so it stayed cozy and comfortable. The owner is very kind, and the place is managed by two elderly ladies who are incredibly sweet — they reminded us of our own grandmothers. They were so warm, caring, and genuinely helpful. They even helped us book taxis because it can be quite difficult to get a Didi in this area. There are no halal restaurants nearby, so it’s best to bring ready-to-eat food from home. However, they knew we are Muslim and thoughtfully prepared halal-friendly breakfast for us — noodles, fried eggs, vegetables, buns, candy, nuts, and boxed milk. We truly appreciated their effort. Downstairs, there is a shared kitchen area that guests can use. It’s well-equipped with utensils, a microwave, hot water dispenser (similar to Coway), and basic kitchen facilities — very convenient for families. The only downside is that there is no lift. The building has three levels. We stayed on Level 2 (just one flight of stairs up from the ground floor), so it was manageable, but carrying heavy luggage could be challenging. When we checked out, the owner even gave us a small gift bag with a keychain and fridge magnet — such a sweet gesture. From the guesthouse, it takes only about 20 minutes by Didi to reach Xiling Snow Mountain. Just make sure to book your ride 20–30 minutes earlier because it can be hard to get a car in this area. There are small shops nearby if you need drinks or basic items, but by around 9:40 pm, most places close and the area becomes very quiet. The river view from our room was absolutely beautiful. The guesthouse is located at the foothill area with charming ancient China village vibes — peaceful and scenic. The hospitality was truly heartfelt. We also noticed many Malay guests have stayed here before, so they are familiar with preparing Muslim-friendly meals. Overall, we had a very warm and memorable stay. Highly recommended for families visiting Xiling Snow Mountain.

MMomostickyriceGood location, everything was clean, nice view, you have 2 dryers in the hallway if needed, daily cleaning of the room by staff. Be warned that there are only chinese plugs. You might need to buy an adaptor. There is a convenience store that is open 24/7 at the main lobby of the building, a big mall is accessible with a 2 minutes walk, and many restaurants. It's one of the cheapest room I found on TRiP. I definitely recommend staying here. 😁☀️

GGuest UserThe room was spacious and well-equipped, with two large double beds and 24-hour hot water for showering. Downstairs, there are restaurants and a subway station, both very convenient. It's also close to People's Park. What's especially great is that there's a table tennis club right in the building, so you can play in the evening and work off all the delicious food you ate during the day!

The front desk staff were warm and attentive, and both check-in and check-out were efficient. The facilities are well-maintained, and the environment is quiet and elegant, offering great value for money. Xiao Lin at the front desk was incredibly patient; even though I arrived in the early hours of the morning, she greeted me with a smile and processed my check-in quickly. The room was clean, odor-free, and had great natural light, and the bathroom amenities were all there. When I checked out, Xiao Lin even reminded me to take my personal belongings, which shows amazing attention to detail. This place offers incredible value for money, and I highly recommend it!

TtheunaprincessaFirst, shoutout to the staff, because they were all superb, very helpful, friendly, and on top of everything - spoke great English. The hostel itself has a really nice bar area with daily live music. The cocktails and coffee are amazing, and there are also reasonably priced breakfast options (that I personally haven't tried) that you can enjoy indoors or outdoors. The hostel offers daily activities and access to tours and private drivers, so you may want to check it out before you book yourself for something. Location-wise, there is a metro stop a short walk away, and taxis never had issues finding the hostel, but you'll always be picked up on the other side of the street. It's within a walking distance from the Wenshu Monastery, and therefore street food area - very convenient. My room was a four-people bedroom (female only) and the room itself, although small, it was clean. So were the bedsheets. The towels are not provided, so bring your own, but shower gel and shampoo are. Having bathroom inside the room is definitely convenient, but can be a nightmare if your roommates come back and use a hair dryer at 1am. It's not the hostel's fault, but pointing it out as something you may want to consider discussing with your roommates. Each person in the room will have a locker assigned too (mine didn't have a lock, but the others' did, so you may want to check that with the staff. Personally, I wasn't bothered). There is also a communal fridge and washing machine (for an extra fee) on the second floor. Overall, I'd say it was a great experience and a nice hang-out spot in Chengdu!

GGuest UserThis is not a holiday inn/holiday inn express, (the chain) even though that’s the name. Other than that it’s a fine hotel. They offered free airport pickup service, and were very friendly in helping us. The hotel is in a very remote location, 20 minutes away from the airport. It’s in a beautiful setting in the countryside, and we could hear birds and chickens outside the window. The lobby is a bit sp****, and the bathroom is small, but it worked for us after getting in late at night.
