"The room is great, with a big bathtub, and the bed is very comfortable. The balcony is not very easy to use. The hygiene is okay. The aunt didn't clean the tea set and mouthwash cup on the first day. The soundproofing is average, but it’s noisy when the neighbor next door goes out early in the morning! It takes 15-20 minutes to walk from Wuzhen Xizha, which is a certain distance."

"The location is very good. It is between the East Gate and the West Gate of Wuzhen. I played the West Gate the night before and the East Gate the next morning. I finally visited the whole Wuzhen. The hotel is very cost-effective in Wuzhen and the front desk is small. My sister is also very enthusiastic. I highly recommend it, but I forgot to take a photo."

"The B&B is right at the entrance of the Dongzha Scenic Area. It is very easy to find. You can listen to operas when you go out. There is a stage. I stayed here once a few years ago. It is a famous B&B with a very high cost performance nearby. The key is that the owner of the B&B is very nice. I left my phone at the B&B and kept it for me to pick up when I came back! He is so nice! I recommend everyone to stay here!"

"Let me start by saying that the boss is very nice and diligent. He is very capable in cleaning all the staff from the front desk to the room. But I have to complain that the environment is too old. The air conditioner has been blown out and the light is full, and the noise is very loud. It's really cold if you can't turn on the air conditioner. It's cold and noisy when you turn it on. "I chose this Hanami Nishishe concept hotel for my May Day trip. The pictures on the Internet are different from the reality, but not too much [grin]. The hotel is one kilometer away from the No. 1 Tourist Service Center in the scenic area. This distance is not close. Fortunately, the hotel also provides shuttle services to the scenic area, which is a lot easier! The hygiene feels average, but it's acceptable. There is a breakfast shop on the first floor. The hotel does not include breakfast, so it's convenient to have breakfast. There are too many tourists in the scenic area during the May Day holiday. It's not an exaggeration to use the metaphor of a sea of people. I didn't even have the opportunity to take pictures. The hotel price has also doubled several times compared to usual. Wuzhen is beautiful. I want to go there again in the off-season if I have the chance. Wuzhen is waiting for me to see you next time."

As soon as I booked the hotel, the housekeeper contacted me to inquire about my needs and sent me a guide. When I arrived, the housekeeper was already waiting for us in the parking lot. The hotel's breakfast is a set meal, which is very rich and exquisite. The environment is very good and it is also very beautiful to take pictures. I like it very much. The hotel was rebuilt from the former Bajia Hall of the traditional Chinese medicine family. It is antique and very distinctive. We all had a great time and will stay here next time. Hotel gifted us with two lovely tubs of tea. Buggy service to indoor pool in nearby hotel. Breakfast also in nearby hotel.
Tv was too small when watching from bed. Do consider installing a bigger TV.

EEUC riderFantastic rooms. Very large and well appointed. Restaurants don’t do well for vegans but otherwise fine. Service in the Paulaner bar was slow with only one server the evening we tried it. It’s not cheap but it’s very good value for what you get. I’ve stayed twice and would definitely stay again. Recommended if you want to be near the train station.

So pleasant and sweet, thank you for not dismissing me with ‘you can find the information if you just scan our WeChat!’ The room provided was gorgeous and Wuzhen Tong’an inn is huge. It was really nice to wake up amidst the sounds of washing dishes over lapping water. Wonton shop opposite the room over the canal. The water canals do not smell, and air was crisp (until the day-visitors arrive and they mostly smoke). Love the mahjong rooms that stick out over the water. This inn is situated close to the entrance of Xizha (West Scenic Area) and we were so charmed we never made it to Dongzha (east area). If you need reentry to xizha within 24hrs, scan your face at the hotel reception before exiting xizha. Their in-house restaurant was delicious! Also would suggest a very early morning walk (30min before sunrise), come back for the hotel breakfast, then head out again for morning market (早茶客). There is a family mart about 100m away if you need anything in the middle of the night.
Wuzhen xizha is made of 2 long parallel sides flanking the canal. The side where tongan inn is on is a straight path, so do stay on Tongan inn side if you prefer flat grounds and need to get somewhere further quickly. The opposite side has more bridges to climb but is very pretty and has more corners to explore. If you are with elderly, this side is not recommended because of the climbing. The bridges also do not have railings and are always congested once the night crowd arrives close to sunset. But amazingly nobody fell into the river as far as I noticed.
The crowds are really insane at night. The best time to enjoy xizha are really reserved for hotel guests staying inside xizha from closing time to before opening time. Wuzhen was great thanks to our accomodation. Highly recommended.

GGuest UserThe owner is very nice and friendly. There’s no lift in the building, but the owner helped us to carry our luggage to the room. He also recommended us hanfu and photo shooting studio which provides a superb service.
The room comes with 2 beds, hence, it’s a bit pack with our luggage open up. The room type a bit old (traditional feel) but overall we had good experience here.
The owner also very helpful, he helped us to arrange transport from wuzhen to Suzhou with a low rate. He also give us souvenirs before we left.

GGuest UserOur stay at the Wuzhen Tong’an Inn was nothing short of delightful. This review is specifically for Wuzhen Tong’an Inn, not the Waterside Resort. We were fortunate to have encountered a helpful lady at the visitor center who informed us that our original booking didn't face the Wuzhen grand canal but instead their own small private canal, which wouldn't offer views of the ancient boats. She assisted us with an upgrade to the Tong’an Inn, which provided not only beautiful scenery but also a prime location right at the heart of all the happenings.
All Wuzhen guests head to one place for the breakfast buffet, which, conveniently, was right at our hotel. This was a significant advantage as the original booking would have required a 20+ minute walk, especially inconvenient in the rain and cold.
Our room was a blend of ancient Chinese style, with fragrant old woods, and a modernized living quarter complete with a hot shower and smart devices. It was impeccably clean, providing a perfect balance of traditional charm and contemporary comfort.
Everyone in Wuzhen was incredibly friendly. Special shout out to Mr. Ling, who helped us with our heavy luggage bags. He was courteous, professional, and extremely helpful. It's unfortunate that we only booked two nights here. We would definitely love to stay longer in the future.

WWaitandaiwangI give Alila Wuzhen a full score! This hotel was the biggest surprise of my trip to Wuzhen.
Guest Room:
I was upgraded to a garden villa room with an area of 145 square meters and an indoor area of 78 square meters. Visually, it feels large, and the living room and bedroom are designed as one. Although it is large, it does not feel empty.
The long corridor design of the bathroom space is well-thought-out. There is skylight on the top. They pour down, white and layered, which makes me, the occupant, feel bright and happy all of a sudden.
There is floor heating to resist the dampness and coldness of Jiangnan in winter.
The seemingly inconspicuous guest room welcome food is a small surprise and great care. It is a small pastry with coconut shreds, which looks like Jiangnan pastries. It is small, beautiful and delicious. The white snow-like coconut shreds are laid below. Does it mean snowing in winter? Unexpectedly, there is also a bottle of whiskey-like flat bottle of water. Looking more closely, it is the hotel's homemade jasmine white hair.
Food and Beverage:
Overall, it is quite high.
In the morning, we had a buffet with Wuzhen mutton noodles and eggs Benedict.
At Sanbai Bar, I experienced their newly launched afternoon tea for Spring Festival with my friends. At first glance, I felt festive. The red date wolfberry latte and the ”good news peanuts” with peanut crumbs left a deep impression.
Design:
It's easy to make a photo. I like it. The design company GOA is amazing.
What impressed me most was the abstract geometric architectural forms in this area presented between the sky and the water. The reflections are flowing and uncertain. It is also an expression of architectural order related to nature, expressing the hotel designer's understanding and innovative interpretation of traditional spatial aesthetics.
By the way, I saw egrets in the hotel!

Remarkable.
From the moment I stepped into the hotel, meticulous care was like a shadow. The front desk staff was enthusiastic and professional, quickly checked in, and introduced the hotel restaurant, bar and other building locations.
Because Alila Wuzhen emphasizes the design of dramatic scenes, when I first arrived that day, it was like being in a Jiangnan maze. When I went to restaurants and bars, I met randomly uncles and aunts trimming plants and gave me enthusiastic guidance. I am grateful to them for taking me there.
