__M1381821****The setting is superb, right within the Huaqing Palace scenic area. We didn't set out to explore the park specifically; instead, we booked the complimentary photoshoot offered by the hotel. This allowed us to tour the grounds with the photographer while capturing beautiful memories. The hotel's golf carts were incredibly convenient, chauffeuring us around whether we were heading for meals, hot spring baths, a show, or ticket collection. After enjoying 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' in the evening, we leisurely strolled back to our room, which felt like an efficient way to experience Huaqing Palace. We even managed to capture stunning reflections of the starry sky on the lake.
Upon arrival, I immediately went for my photoshoot makeup and styling session. My child was in excellent hands with the hotel staff (the 'big brothers and sisters'), and I didn't have to worry about a thing – from check-in to dropping off luggage in our room, or even the room upgrade. The entire process – an hour for styling and an hour for the shoot – was incredibly efficient, significantly saving us time from our exploration of the park. We booked the 'Imperial Hot Spring Twelve Hours' intangible cultural heritage experience. Within the beautifully landscaped Chinese gardens of the hotel, we got to try lacquer fan painting and Tang-style tea ceremony. Our child gained so much from this cultural immersion. The photographer was highly experienced, and the post-production work was stunning. The makeup and styling were natural, enhancing my features without being overly dramatic, resulting in truly beautiful photos.
The hotel's private hot spring baths, complimentary drinks from the bar, welcome fruit, tea cakes, and evening snacks all contributed to a truly relaxing and rejuvenating experience. My child absolutely loved them. When we went for a soak in the Jibao Spring hot spring in the evening, the water temperature was perfect. With the music from 'The Song of Everlasting Sorrow' performance echoing through the gardens, it was a truly multi-sensory feast for the eyes, ears, and touch. The noodles and Hulu Chicken at the hotel's Yu Shan Yuan restaurant were a big hit with my child. The restaurant's elegant decor and the opportunity to feed the koi fish in the pond at the entrance kept my child utterly captivated and wanting to linger.
During our one-day stay, we savored the hotel's beautiful day and night vistas, both inside and out. The complimentary intangible cultural heritage experiences offered by the hotel provided a deep sense of relaxation for me, and a wonderful introduction to cultural aesthetics for my child.

We had an absolutely fantastic experience at the Sofitel People’s Legend in Xi’an. Our room was spacious, elegant, and incredibly comfortable – the perfect place to relax after exploring the city’s rich history. Dining at Dolce Vita was a delight, with exquisite cuisine and a warm atmosphere.
What truly made our stay unforgettable, however, was the exceptional service we received. A heartfelt thank you to Ruizi, Themis, Fancy, and Tommy, who went above and beyond to make our Mother’s Day celebration so special. Their warmth, attention to detail, and genuine care made us feel truly cherished.
If we could give more than five stars, this would be a solid 10. We will most certainly return!

The diverse natural scenery around the hotel, with its rolling hills and lush vegetation, provides ample opportunities to connect with nature. Inside, the hotel's garden design adheres to traditional landscaping principles, using mountains and water as its framework and architectural elements as tasteful embellishments, fostering a serene and elegant ambiance. The plants in the garden are thoughtfully arranged, ensuring picturesque views throughout all four seasons. The service was equally impressive; the friendly staff, particularly the dedicated housekeeping team, ensured our beds were immaculately made every day upon our return. A special shout-out to Dier, who was very thoughtful in arranging activities for the children. We will definitely be back!

GGuest UserThe best hotel I have stayed in during my trip in China. Wonderfull decor with attention to detail. Just the smell in the lobby alone is amazing. The staff does not speak a word of english. But with a translation app you will come a long way. They are friendly and at your service for everything you ask and respond quickly by WeChat. The pool is wonderful and open from 04:00 PM Until 11:00 PM ideal for a late night swim with a view. The size of the room is huge. With a nice seating area. Stocked free drinks in the fridge and a nice bathtub. The hotel has just openend from what I read, here and there is still some dust on the floor especially next to the walls. The breakfast is full chinese so keep that in mind if you are not used to it.
Very thoughtful afternoon tea with snacks and even a late night snack delivered to your room!
When we checked out we were greeted with a personal gift, have not seen a hotel that does that! Overall definitely recommend.

From Annie's initial contact after booking to confirm my check-in time, through the smooth check-in process and my entire stay, the front desk team was incredibly pleasant and always greeted us with sweet smiles. They patiently and thoroughly answered all my questions and proactively introduced the hotel's facilities. Annie's thoughtful and attentive arrangements made our Xi'an trip even more perfect.
The hotel's breakfast was a delightful surprise. It offered a wide variety of options, featuring not only a range of classic Chinese dishes but also exquisite Western pastries, fresh fruits, salads, and more, truly catering to the diverse tastes of all guests. The comfortable dining environment made the meal a truly pleasant experience.
Once again, I'd like to thank Annie for her warm hospitality, which made my Xi'an trip even more wonderful.

WwlocustThe hotel's location is fantastic, right near the Grand Tang Everbright City scenic area, and only about a 700-meter walk from the Grand Tang Furong Garden. If these two attractions are your main focus, then the location is indeed excellent. As we were traveling with family, we usually book a suite. The room environment was quite pleasant; the layout was great, allowing seniors to watch TV downstairs without disturbing those upstairs. However, the service at this hotel was truly disappointing. From housekeeping to restaurant staff and even the service center operators, everyone seemed to be just going through the motions. On our second day, we were repeatedly asked when our room could be cleaned. Breakfast plates were practically snatched away, and when we called the service center, the operator's tone was incredibly cold – something you rarely encounter at a star-rated hotel. To make matters worse, we found hair on unused hotel towels and even small bugs on the bed. Although the hotel lobby manager offered us a small gift and some fruit before we left, we sincerely hope the hotel invests more effort into its 'software management' – specifically, staff training and overall service quality.

XXiaobobozhuThe room was quite spacious, and the hotel itself is large, making it feel like a bit of a walk to get around. The hotel's swimming pool was undergoing maintenance, which wasn't announced on Ctrip in advance, and we only found out upon check-in. However, the hotel kindly arranged for us to use a pool at another hotel, which was a good service recovery.
Breakfast offered a good variety, and the desserts were delicious. The hotel lacks a proper kids' play area. While Furong Xintiandi Mall is right next door, it didn't offer much in terms of dining or shopping. Overall, the value for money was decent, but it might not be worth the price if it were more expensive.

DDapanghaierAt Angsana Hotel, the service was truly the highlight and exceptionally good. The pool was decent, and the staff were very attentive and responsible. However, some areas had exposed rocks, which posed a safety hazard; my child unfortunately scraped their ankle on one. The room design was excellent, featuring a large, comfortable bathtub. The only downsides were that some facilities definitely needed maintenance, such as a broken showerhead, and the absence of disposable nail clippers and bathtub liners. The balcony offered no view to speak of. The complimentary carousel ride and VR experience felt quite underwhelming. On a positive note, the self-service drinks at the front desk were delicious, and the snack box received upon check-in was tasty. Overall, I recommend staying one night in Lintong, as it allows you to visit the Terracotta Army at 5 PM, thus avoiding the peak crowds.

MMILST1We chose this hotel for the location at the airport. We arrived very very late, and the connection between the airport and hotel was locked. We did not know how to access the hotel, which caused us stress. There was a phone number, but I could not figure out how to make a local telephone call on my international telephone. We only got through because others had the same problem and were also trying to access the hotel side. At three in the morning, we could not figure out any alternative. There should be clear signage with clear instructions. That was our only problem. The front desk was helpful, the room was good enough, and the breakfast was solid.

GGuest UserI enjoyed my stay but it was not really what I expected. The Hilton Hotel is known for its top class service but I did not experience that level of service. The furniture needs an upgrade and not all the facilities worked. At the office desk where I did my work, the USB charging point did not work. The carpet on the otherhand smelled damp especially when I walked into the room. The hair conditioner bottle was empty when I wanted to use it. Unfortunately, I only discovered this once I have already shampooed my hair so there was no turning back. The rooms are are in great need of repainting. At one point I was considering upgrading to the executive room because I book these type of hotels for the high level of service from the staff and the 5-Star facilities. I have membership with the Hyatt Hotel but wanted something different for my few days break. At the Hyatt, they even bring you your first cup of coffee as soon as you arrive at breakfast and will keep on checking on you. This is what I call service. Some months ago I stayed in the Hilton in Suzhou and it was amazing. Their breakfast was top notch and beautifully presented. Having said that, my stay at the Hilton High Tech Zone was pleasant, but I will need convincing to stay there again. The hotel is a bit isolated but a 10min drive to one of the high end malls. Thank you to everyone who offered assistance when I needed it. Unfortunately, I did not take photos of the problems but I uploaded pictures of the beautiful hotel which needs some TLC in the bedrooms or some of the bedrooms like mine.
