4-Star Hotels in Xi'an

Every summer, I take my kids on vacation, and I've stayed in many hotels. This one definitely deserves a thorough positive review! For those who expect upper-mid range quality and for families with children, you can book this hotel without hesitation. 1. The family room is just perfect for a family of three, and the front desk even provides complimentary breakfast for children upon check-in. 2. The location is excellent, within walking distance to the Stele Forest Museum and the City Wall. Other attractions require a taxi, and during the summer, there are plenty of taxis and ride-sharing cars right outside the hotel, so you can get a ride within 5 minutes. We stayed for 5 days and mostly took taxis, as Xi'an has fewer subway lines. 3. The breakfast menu changes during the weekdays and includes DIY Roujiamo (Chinese hamburger) and some local specialties. Most importantly, they have my favorite coffee! I had to have two cups every morning! I've been there at 8 AM, 9 AM, and 10 AM, and there was always a seat available! 4. Every evening at 6:30 PM, the lobby offers complimentary desserts and milk (if you drink milk regularly, you don't need to bring your own, as the hotel provides it morning and evening). The weekday offerings are all different, like opening a blind box. Out of my 5-day stay, my favorite was the Mango Sago. 5. If you order takeout, a robot delivers it right to your room door. There are two robots, and they're very fast. I ordered several times, and once the delivery person put the order in, it arrived within 10 minutes. 6. You never have to wait for the hotel elevators, morning or evening, they're very quick. Each room can have up to 10 items of clothing laundered daily. For a family of three, you can inform the hotel in advance to add an extra blanket. The added blanket is thin, which is perfect for kids who tend to get warm easily. 7. The service absolutely deserves a good review. From the moment we walked in, every staff member was polite and courteous, which made us feel very happy. Any reasonable request we had was met. 8. I have no suggestions, it was excellent. I will definitely stay here again next time I visit Xi'an, and I hope the hotel continues to maintain its good reputation!

Very close to the subway and surprisingly quiet, with a cool retro decor. It was super convenient for getting around. You absolutely HAVE to try the rice noodles for breakfast! I ate them for three days straight, haha. They come with a stir-fried meat sauce that's incredibly delicious. The aunties and the front desk staff were all so thoughtful and accommodating. They helped with everything I asked for, even printing dozens of pages of my contract! **Double Indulgence Afternoon Tea Buffet**: Highly recommended, with fruits, pastries, and coffee.

The room came with a balcony offering street views, and the soundproofing on the windows was excellent, ensuring a quiet night's sleep. The hotel boasts a traditional Chinese courtyard style, and the lobby is very picturesque. The room amenities were complete, and the lobby also provided drinks and snacks. We could store our luggage for free after check-out. I accidentally twisted my ankle while out for dinner, and the hotel lobby even had some common medications on hand. I was able to use Yunnan Baiyao and ice immediately. The breakfast was also delicious, with many Shaanxi specialty snacks; both my kids loved the Zhengao (steamed glutinous rice cake) and mini roujiamo (Chinese meat burger).

My stay at the Hampton by Hilton Xi'an Dayan Pagoda from June 13th for two nights exceeded my expectations. The guest room's feature wall had a custom, hand-painted mural of the Dayan Pagoda in a traditional Chinese style. The elegant purple-toned ancient architectural patterns were very appealing, allowing me to immerse myself in the ancient charm of Chang'an without even leaving the room – the design truly captured the local character. The room was clean and odor-free, the bedding was soft and fluffy, and the pillows were just the right height, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. Both sides of the bed had wall lamps and charging outlets, showing thoughtful and practical design details. The hotel's location is excellent; I could walk to the Dayan Pagoda and Datang Everbright City, making it very convenient to return after an evening stroll. Check-in at the front desk was efficient, and the service was warm and attentive. The self-service breakfast included a rich variety of Shaanxi local snacks. The hotel facilities were complete. This will be my top choice for future visits to Xi'an, and I will definitely book here again.

Hotel location is superb and near to Bell Tower. For Muslim travellers, it's a convenient stay for you to get to the Muslim Quarters which is about 10-15 mins leisure walk. The room that we got was upgraded and it was spacious clean and the bedding was so good. Its quality mattress and pillow which makes you fall asleep easily and wakes up afresh. The amenities provided was complete with comb, wet wipes, ear plugs though I do not need it. There is also complimentary use of the gym, laundry room and breakfast spread was extensive though I do not consume the except for the coffee which was great! We were also offered complimentary airport drop off. The best is the staff where they were very attentive. Even with language barrier, they were willing to go extra mile to help and assist. The staff were the highlight. I highly recommend this hotel.

I've been to Xi'an many times, but this trip was a spontaneous decision to bring my child. Since I booked the hotel quite late, the usual places I stay at didn't have any suitable rooms. After looking around, I chose this Mehao Lizhi hotel. The hotel is located right on Xidajie, which is very convenient for transportation. It's about a two-minute walk from Guangjijie subway station, and the Muslim Quarter is only three to five minutes away. The room wasn't small, and the full-length windows provided good natural light. The king-size bed, sofa, refrigerator, and bathtub setup felt pretty good for the price. The front desk staff member, Yunshu, was very kind and gentle, and she even gave us a small gift when we checked out. Now for the downsides. The soundproofing within the hotel itself was actually pretty good; there was barely any noise normally. However, the windows weren't soundproofed well at all. During my stay, there was waterproofing work being done on the roof of the building next door. Being on the 10th floor, it sounded like the waterproofing work on the 4th-floor roof next door was happening with the windows wide open. For a hotel, this level of soundproofing is honestly quite disappointing.

The hotel facilities are good and it's clean. The bed is really soft and comfortable. The cleanliness is quite satisfactory; there are no stains on the bedding, and the floors are clean. The hotel is conveniently located near Keji Road subway station, making transportation quite easy. They also offer complimentary afternoon tea with black tea and parking vouchers.

I came to Xi'an for a concert this time, so I chose a hotel close to the subway, right next to Lines 2 and 6, just a few minutes' walk away. It's also within walking distance of the Bell Tower, Drum Tower, and Muslim Quarter. Getting around and finding food were both very convenient. I won't elaborate on the hotel's design; it's a Manxin 2.0 version with an overall pink and purple decor. The hygiene was excellent, very clean! This is very important. The room was spacious, bright, and tidy. The smart home control system throughout the room was very convenient, and the zero-pressure mattress ensured a good night's sleep. The soundproofing was also decent, offering a quiet retreat in a bustling area. Both the front desk staff and the housekeeping aunties were very enthusiastic with their service. Breakfast was served until 11:00, but the taste was quite ordinary. If you can get up early, it's probably better to go out and try local breakfast options. The hotel offered complimentary afternoon tea, but I arrived in Xi'an after 5 PM that day, so I didn't get to experience it. The 24-hour laundry room was very convenient, though I'd recommend avoiding using it during peak evening hours. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for the price.

The rooms are well-equipped with comfortable desks and chairs, and a stable internet connection, fully meeting the needs for remote work. The fitness center and laundry room facilities are also complete, resolving any worries during business trips. The overall environment is quiet and comfortable, ensuring a good night's sleep. This stay exceeded my expectations! The room was very clean and reasonably soundproof, so I slept really well. The front desk staff were warm, polite, and responsive, and luggage storage was very convenient. It's close to the subway, making it easy to get around and find food. It offers great value for money.
