This hotel is a relatively large garden hotel in the city, and the facilities are pretty good. Online reviews are mixed, some good, some not so good. Since we were having a family gathering in Suzhou for Chinese New Year, we decided to stay here. The room facilities were decent, and we had a view of the swimming pool from our window. The hotel was fully booked for the holiday, so parking in the garage was very tight. The decor might be a bit old-fashioned; the ventilation fan and light in the bathroom shared a single switch. It was quite cold taking a shower in winter as the fan couldn't be turned off, and it was right above my head. The hotel's environment is lovely, with many picturesque spots for photos. The breakfast area, lobby, and coffee shop particularly left a strong impression. However, the Chinese restaurant's food was quite ordinary.

Since we drove to Nanjing, choosing a hotel with parking was important. Getting around by subway is super convenient, which means we didn't add to Nanjing's already crowded streets! The hotel is very close to the Presidential Palace, and it felt like we never had to worry about what to eat – there are so many restaurants on every street. We only stayed two nights, and it honestly felt like not nearly enough time; I don't even think we tried all the different wontons! Next time, we'll need to stay at least a week. The hotel's facilities aren't brand new, but they're perfectly comfortable. Even though it's on a main street, it was quiet enough at night. The two young ladies at the front desk were also incredibly helpful, giving us lots of great sightseeing recommendations. Next time we visit, this will definitely be our first choice again!

I have to admit, choosing to stay at Yingbin Hotel was absolutely the right decision. We stayed in Building 8. All the buildings are actually quite close to each other, so it's an easy walk. Of course, the shuttle service is excellent; you just wait a few minutes at the entrance. The welcome fruit, tea, small gifts, free drinks, and travel photography were all wonderful surprises. My only slight regret is that we arrived at 2:10 PM and had to wait until 2:40 PM for our room. Also, the paging announcements from Quyuan restaurant were quite noticeable in our mountain view room, and the air conditioning wasn't very strong. Finally, I must say, Yangzhou is incredibly beautiful! Slender West Lake is stunning! And Yingbin Hotel is magnificent!

This was my second time staying here, and it was great! I stayed for several days, and the service was excellent. The front desk staff were particularly helpful. The environment and hygiene were both very good. Even though it's in a scenic area, it was surprisingly quiet, and getting to other places was very convenient.

Pros:
1. The entire place is smart-enabled, from the curtains and lighting to the toilet and mirror. Everything is automated, and the facilities are very clean.
2. What impressed me most was that the hairdryer here didn't feel cheap at all.
3. Although the space isn't as large as a typical hotel room, I found it perfectly suited for one person, and it would also feel cozy for two. It has a refined ambiance, which is quite rare.
4. This accommodation also provides shoe-shine cloths. The washing machine is great too, and comes with a dryer.
5. It's very close to all the nearby attractions, so you won't spend much on taxis. You can basically walk or take the subway.
6. The mattress and duvet are incredibly comfortable! I slept very well!
In every aspect, I feel it rivals hotels priced around 200 (the space might be a drawback, but for those who love a cozy feel, it's an excellent choice).
7. The milk tea and fruit juice at the front desk are delicious! Definitely worth trying. The hotel's fragrance isn't a cheap one; it's pleasant and not overpowering.
8. It's also worth mentioning their shampoo and toiletries; they left my hair feeling smooth, not frizzy. While not big brands, for a hotel, they're quite good.
Cons:
1. ”No disposable bath towels”: Even though it's newly opened and the room is thoughtfully decorated with some small amenities (shoe-shine cloths, disposable toilet seat covers), the cost of disposable bath towels in bulk should be very low. Perhaps the owner considered the cost (or didn't want to use cheap disposable bath towels), but I think for someone who is a bit of a clean freak, this is quite important. After all, even if the towels provided by the hotel are disinfected, if the previous guest used them to wipe their feet or bottom, I'd still be hesitant to use them on my face. Disposable bath towels would solve this problem perfectly.
2. The washing machine and dryer should be clearly labeled (though perhaps I just didn't notice). Initially, I couldn't tell the difference between them, and only figured it out after looking at the buttons.
3. I once stayed at a chain hotel where the cleaning staff noticed I had a mouse, and when I returned to my room, they had placed a mouse pad for me. However, LBED didn't provide this. If this hotel's service were a bit more attentive, it might be even more popular.
I sincerely wish the owner of this hotel a thriving business. I will definitely book this hotel again if I visit the area in the future.

A special thanks to Mr. Lu for helping us upgrade our room when the hotel was almost fully booked (Ctrip room upgrade benefits aren't always guaranteed!). The young lady at the front desk who checked us in had a lovely smile. She warned us that breakfast might be crowded the next day due to the high occupancy and even offered solutions.
The room made excellent use of space. The bathroom door, when pushed inwards, doubled as the shower door (two functions, one door!), and there was a clothesline inside the shower. It also had a desk with a lamp.
The only minor flaw was a rather large gap when the door was used for the bathroom, and the showerhead position needed some attention.
I'd suggest improving the shower curtain placement; it shouldn't be on the outside (near the bed), especially for a twin room.
The Mercure's location is excellent, very close to the entrance of Dongguan Street (roughly where the purple circle is marked). There's a small window on the river-view side, perhaps at the door of room 11 on each floor, offering a glimpse of the river, which made up for not booking a river-view room. (The small window on the 3rd floor didn't offer much of a view, it was too low and blocked by trees.)

Staying at the Andu Hotel in Suzhou was such a breeze! Its location is absolutely perfect, with a food street and all the main attractions just a stone's throw away. The rooms are spacious and bright, and the cleanliness is top-notch. The service is prompt and thoughtful, and the facilities are comprehensive, including a breakfast restaurant, a terrace, and a gym. The breakfast itself is delicious. I truly felt at home here, and I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone!
Towards the end of my holiday, I chose the tallest hotel in Nanjing. The hotel provided a room on the 67th floor with a view of Xuanwu Lake and Zijin Mountain. The most striking feature inside was the large circular bathtub.
Before this, I had already traveled to Shanghai during my third year of junior high school, dealing with work all the way, and was quite tired. For dinner and breakfast, I opted to dine at the hotel. Dinner was at the Summit restaurant on the 76th-77th floors, mainly featuring Huaiyang and fusion cuisine. It wasn't as salty as typical Nanjing dishes, and the cold dish with scampi was a highlight. The restaurant's main hall faces south towards Xinjiekou. Breakfast was at the coffee bar on the 45th floor, available from 9 AM to 7 PM. You could access the observation deck with your room card, which offered views to the north: Zijin Mountain, Jiming Temple, Xuanwu Lake, and the TV tower. The duck blood vermicelli soup and baked flatbread were very Nanjing in the breakfast spread, and the rest was typical InterContinental – very rich and varied. My only minor gripe was that the fruit station didn't have the cucumber sticks and juice often found at the Shanghai InterContinental; I had to get a bowl of cucumber slices from the salad bar.
I visited the independently operated heated pool and gym after dinner, but it was quite crowded due to Chinese New Year, so it wasn't particularly enjoyable. I then explored the mall next door, which was pretty much as described by Nanjing local media. The only new development is that Sunrise Duty Free is setting up shop on the first floor and is currently under renovation.
In a nutshell, my review of the hotel is: Majestic and awe-inspiring!
Facilities: Everything you could need.
Hygiene: Clean and tidy.
Environment: A unique experience. Even with a strong gale outside at night, there was no howling sound once the ventilation windows were sealed. However, before 9 PM, you could hear outdoor loudspeakers from the nearby park or square, which was unavoidable – the entire city acts like a giant amplifier.
Service: Warm and thoughtful, with appropriate boundaries, which I personally find more important.

It's really great to find such a high-value hotel in this location. The lovely lady at the front desk was so thoughtful; seeing that we had a child, she upgraded us to a family room for free. Although the decor is a bit old, the room is very spacious, cozy, and clean. A special thanks to the kind front desk staff – we'll definitely stay at your hotel again next time we visit Nanjing!

Right across from Nanchan Temple, the location is super convenient. There are tons of street food options nearby, perfect for all you foodies out there. Nanchang Street is also just about a 10-minute walk away. The picture shows the beautiful night water view, which is right by the hotel.
The room itself was simple, clean, and absolutely great.

I booked a suite for 2 nights at the Courtyard by Marriott the night before I came from Xi'an because I wanted to visit Niushoushan, Jinling Xiaocheng, and other tourist spots nearby. The location of the Courtyard is actually not bad; it's right beside the Hedingqiao metro station, and many food booths and convenience stores are just downstairs. You can buy takeaway at any time. The reception staff is nice and helpful and can speak very good English, no doubt. The worst was the concierge. One of the concierge staff has been playing on his cellphone every single moment. I took Didi or the metro at least 4 or 5 times every day. Every time I pass through the entrance, he is playing on his phone. The most frustrating part was when I ordered takeaway through the app. The delivery man said he placed it on the concierge cart right next to that guy, but someone took my package, and he didn't notice. YEAH, How could he possibly know if he was preoccupied with his phone ?!
This is the best hotel we stayed in during our trip to China. We lived in a separate house. It's quiet and cozy there. The air conditioner works well for heating. The hostess is very friendly and kind. When we got lost during check-in, she herself came for us. Also thanks to the man who helped us when leaving the hotel. Comfortable bathroom, good beds, spacious room. I highly recommend it!
This hotel is located just by the Pingjiang Street. When I have to enter a small alley to the lobby I was a bit sceptical but when I checked in the room, I was amazed by the coziness of the room, and the space is also big. My hotel faces the river so it offers a very good view. I will dedinitely come back again.

Amazing hotel. The owner and staff were very friendly and accommodating! They upgraded us into a larger room as they felt the one we booked would be a bit too small for a family of four. The room was clean, the beds were very comfortable (firm beds which we love) and the bathroom was modern. The location is perfect: very quiet but close to busy areas. The hotel staff even helped us by doing laundry for us multiple times during our stay. The owner gave us multiple teas to bring home, which were all delicious. Our girls loved the dog in the lobby too. I would love to stay at this hotel again if I return back to Nanjing. We stayed at hotels in Beijing, Shenyang and Dalian and this hotel was much nicer than all of those hotels! Note: my wife is Chinese, so that definitely helped with communication, but I feel the staff would have made us feel comfortable even if we only spoke English.
前台小张服务很好Good service, friendly staff, good facilities, rooms with beautiful views, definitely recommend all singles, couples and families alike to come. Ps. If you need privacy in the bathroom (as it is see through), they do provide curtaij upon request.

We had an absolutely great experience here! When researching where to stay in Suzhou, Pan Pacific came up in most reviews, so we had high expectations and the experience completely lived up to them. We stayed for two nights and would love to return whenever we come back to Suzhou. It’s truly worth it. The property is grand and beautiful, just like in the photos, the room and amenities felt like a five-star hotel at an unbelievable price. In-house guests also get free access to the ancient Panmen Gate, which the area is directly connected from the hotel. The check-in process may take a little longer if arrive at the same time as groups, but all the staff were friendly and helpful. Not every one speaking fluent English, but they were all friendly. And shout out to lovely Concierge named Ivy 郑明泽, when we were trying to ask for help to buy the yoghurt drink as we couldn’t find in any places we went before, she was the one helping us by using her own mobile and even delivered us by the door herself 🥹
The hotel is located in the vicinity of Nanjing Agricultural University. The environment is good, the rooms are quiet and comfortable, the transportation is convenient, the facilities are better than many chain four-star hotels, and the breakfast is rich
This hotel is a good place to stay! The staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a seamless experience. The rooms are modern, spotless, and extremely comfortable. The hotel’s location is both convenient and quiet, perfect for relaxation. Thoughtful amenities and a cozy atmosphere make it feel like home. Service is good , going above and beyond expectations. Whether for business or leisure, this hotel is a good choice. I highly recommend it and look forward to returning!
The bed in the room is very large, suitable for family outings. The hotel is very welcoming from the front desk to the welcome service. The facilities and equipment are in line with the needs. The room also has an induction cooker, microwave and refrigerator.
