very close to the airport. they provide free shuttle there and back. massive car park and you can actually park for 5 days for free! the receptionist was most helpful and accommodating. there's also a decent restaurant in the hotel as well as a launderette. we washed our clothes and have dinner at the same time ;-).
We really enjoyed our stay, the view of the lake is stunning, the food were delicious and have a lot of choices. I love the room too it's comfortable and clean. We are planning to go back again this summer. 5/5 overall
Very modern room with no carpet! Vinyl flooring in the main area and marble floor in the bathroom. The bed and pillows were soooo comfortable. I was there for work and needed to use the wi-fi to connect for a meeting - all good and ports too plug in located ono the desktop, no digging underneath.
The food was great, beautiful restaurant. Staff were very friendly. Morning breakfast even featured an omelette station, made fresh by the chef to your liking.
Would definitely stay there again!
The room is a sea view room with a good view. If it is sunny, you should lie down and watch the sunrise in the morning. But I don't know if it is close to the beach or what. I always feel a smell of urine in the room...
Nice to stay in the historic hotel. As such, the room showed it's age which is not necessarily bad. It had a charm and warmness not found in most modern hotel rooms. The full breakfast was definitely the highlight. It was not advertised as such on the booking site but should be. I was a bit disappointed that the internet was not password protected. I was reluctant to leave my computer on too long for fear of hacking.

The hotel is generally average, the mattress is too soft, and the back of the sleep hurts. The room is not soundproof and very noisy. The hotel staff is friendly, but the facilities are a bit old and the elevator is slow.

GGuest UserGot a good checked in and request amenities service is good. Staying for 5 days with my whole family. On the third day our bathroom flooded I don’t know what happened. They transfer as to a queen bed and a couch. Just accepted it as I do t want to deal with the incident overnight. Fully understand if no rooms available to accommodate us. But they did attended to our needs so far. But pretty much over all stay it was a ok. The hotel seems old but maybe preserving the looks of the hotel. Needs some upgrading.
GGuest UserGreat staff and great location. Hotel is still under renovation and we were given a renovated room which was really nice. If you don’t mind a bit of drilling noise in the morning this hotel is good value for that neighborhood.
GGuest UserThe room was well equipped, but old and cleaned. The front desk waiter was very welcoming and at home. Unfortunately, breakfast seems to be outsourced, with fewer varieties and average service.
OoooyanI have never stayed in such a speechless hotel... I stayed for a total of six days. The fire alarm went off three mornings, whether it was weekends or weekdays, and each time it was around nine o'clock... The fire alarm lasted for 20 minutes, and the hotel did not have any explanation, just saying it was a false fire alarm. I don't believe that there could be three false fire alarms in six days? ? ? The hotel does not care about the rest and sleep of the customers at all. The time of each alarm was almost the same, and it went off every other day, as if it was intentional. In addition, I also found in Google reviews that the fire alarm went off frequently and lasted for a long time. So don't book this hotel if you can. The room is very small and not very quiet. The bar downstairs lasts until about two in the morning on weekends, which is extremely noisy.
A deposit of 20 Canadian dollars is collected every night

KKuierdoudouThe room was clean. Parking is free. Swimming pool until 22 o'clock, there is a hot pool, there is a slide. Free coffee is provided in the hotel lobby in the morning. There are fast food restaurants such as Tims, A&W at the entrance of the hotel. There are IKEA, costco, outlets nearby. Convenient and clean hotel
GGuest UserThe hotel is old and the equipment is average. The location is very good, just by the pier. It is very convenient to eat nearby. The restaurant on the first floor of the hotel is also OK. We didn't go out to eat one day in heavy rain. We tried it and felt it was not bad. Parking is charged. There is also a Japanese restaurant nearby. It is good to try.
GGuest UserRooms are a little small, but generally clean. Old fashioned air conditioner/heater, which was hard to set a consistent temperature in the room. The breakfast room was a little cramped, but we were pleasantly surprised at the hot breakfast itself . Not fancy, but good value as it was included in the room price and the food was nice and hot. Reasonable value for money for the economy traveller. All staff were friendly and attentive. We'd stay again.
