The best stay in Miyazaki:) The hotel is located in the station and is easy to go everywhere! Very clean and the staff's hospitality made our stay nice.
The room smelled a bit moldy.
The shampoo and conditioner in the public bath made my hair squeaky clean so I don't recommend it.
I wish there was at least one microwave in each room or on each floor.
The samue-like loungewear provided was difficult to put on (the pants kept slipping down) so I recommend bringing your own.
The breakfast was delicious, but there were no seats and there was a line so I had to eat quickly and leave, so I couldn't take my time.
The hotel is 200 meters from Miyazaki JR Station, about a 3-minute walk. From the east exit of Miyazaki JR Station, walk 2-3 minutes and cross two streets to arrive. There is a convenience store downstairs of the hotel, super convenient! The hotel staff was friendly and check-in was quick and smooth.
I stayed in the largest room type, a deluxe twin non-smoking room. It was very large, spacious and clean, and there was no problem with unpacking two 28-inch suitcases.
The breakfast tastes great, simple but refined, with scrambled eggs, salads, meat, desserts, juices, coffee and everything else. You can also try the local specialties of Japan, and there are also delicious fresh anchovies and sea bream sashimi. I stayed for two nights. I recommend not to eat breakfast later than 09:00. The last order time is 09:30. It may be that there are not many guests and the food supply is not so frequent.
There is a tourist center at Miyazaki Station where you can buy souvenirs and directly buy a Miyazaki one-day bus pass. You need to show your passport, so you don’t have to queue at the ticket counter. It’s 2000 yen per person, very convenient!
The buses in Miyazaki are not frequent. When you purchase a one-day pass, the staff will ask you where you are going and inform you of the bus schedule and route, etc.
I stayed at this hotel for the second time. If it is not far away from the guests, I will continue to choose to stay. The morning is also good, and the room is big enough, which is still very good. It would be better if you can prepare a mirror for the girls.
Lovely hotel located 5 minutes walk to Takachiho Shrine and 15-20 minutes to Takachiho Gorge. Rooms were spacious and very clean. Excellent service at the reception desk.
Hotel provided seat cushions for us to sit on to watch the evening show at Takachiho Shrine. Also very helpful with confirming our next destination since we did not speak Japanese.
Lovely meals in the onsite restaurant.
I would definitely recommend this hotel and even stay here again one day.
I am impressed by their memory foam pillow. I had a very good sleep.
Car parks get full easily but reception will divert you to the parking nearby
Facilities is a bit dated but you get what you pay.
Miyazaki Prince Smart Inn provides thoughtfully furnished rooms equipped with all the essentials. While the accommodations are well-maintained, the room size is a bit compact, and the parking instructions could be more user-friendly – areas where future enhancements would be welcome. The hotel benefits from a convenient location. Despite these minor points, the experience is worthwhile, offering accommodations with a sensibly designed interior. I look forward to seeing even better service in the future. For travelers who appreciate efficiency and practicality, Miyazaki Prince Smart Inn is a solid choice, offering a comfortable place to unwind. I hope to enjoy an even smoother stay next time.

Very Good
ヤヤンイーランIt's about 10 minutes away from the city. The location is not great, but the hospitality is excellent and the hotel thinks about the details of its guests. The lounge area from the large public bath and the free drinks there are great, so you can relax and take your time. I think it's worth staying an night just for this hotel. I wish they could extend the bath time a little more in the morning.

AAnonymous UserThe front desk staff were very polite and I was very satisfied from the check-in.
The hot spring was also great and the water was thick and creamy, so I'm glad I chose it.
The women-only floor was also very convenient, and the hot spring was right in front of the room, so it was easy to use, just like at home.
There were Refa and shower heads, and the shower head was Refa.
For some reason, the hair dryer in the bathroom was different lol
The room was also relaxing.
The little things were well thought out, like the lights turning on without inserting a card and the door being able to be left slightly open.
The only thing that was a shame was that when I checked out, the hallway was overflowing with cleaning supplies and blocked my way.
It was the first time I'd stayed at a hotel where the cleaning staff didn't greet me when I checked out.
I thought that was a shame.
The rest of the hotel was perfect ✨
I was also grateful that breakfast was included, there was a wide selection of drinks, there was a parking lot right next to it, and I didn't have to check out.
I'll stay here again if I have business in Miyazaki city!

GGuest UserGood location. Within easy walking distance to the beach. Boards can be rented. Unfortunately, a group of travelers did not respect the quiet rule in the sleeping area. It was quite loud for the duration of my stay. I would hope the hostel enforces the rules more strictly in the future.
GGuest UserThis hotel is in an excellent location, just a few minutes' walk from the subway station/train station, and the transportation is extremely convenient, especially for travelers who rely on public transportation. There are all kinds of restaurants downstairs, from authentic Japanese cuisine to convenient Western food and fast food. It can be said to be ”surrounded by food”, and there is no need to worry about three meals. There are dense convenience stores and shops around, and daily needs are within reach. The hotel has complete internal facilities. Although the room is not spacious, it is well laid out. The modern and simple decoration style creates a comfortable atmosphere. Free WiFi, bathrooms with plenty of hot water and complete toiletries can meet basic needs. The front desk service is efficient and friendly, English communication is barrier-free, and the luggage storage service is a thoughtful solution to the pain points of passengers on morning and evening flights. Combining its core location, rich surrounding facilities and reasonable prices, the cost performance is particularly outstanding. Whether it is business travel, short-distance travel or transit stopover, it is a worry-free and value-for-money choice.
GGerardus Maria GemmaOur stay at Marushinso Ryokan was truly memorable. Easily accessible by car, this family-run ryokan offers an authentic experience with spacious rooms and well-maintained shared facilities. The onsen is particularly delightful, providing a relaxing and rejuvenating experience.
What truly sets Marushinso Ryokan apart is the food. The authentic cuisine is beautifully presented and absolutely delicious, making every meal a highlight of our stay. We highly recommend this ryokan for anyone seeking a genuine and delightful Japanese experience.
ののむちゃんThe best stay in Miyazaki:) The hotel is located in the station and is easy to go everywhere! Very clean and the staff's hospitality made our stay nice.
GGuest Uservery very nice place, highly recommend:
- polite staff
- very cute pets in the hotel
- nice and private hot spring
- hotel near sightseeing places
- very yummy dinner and breakfast
- price ok
- enough parking lots
There are dogs and cats walking around the hotel. Please consider if you don’t like animals.
AAnonymous UserA village by the sea. The room is clean and tidy. It is a few hundred meters from the south station. There is a supermarket opposite the train station. There is a supermarket. Melon, fruit, vegetables, firewood, rice, oil and salt. The hotel has breakfast and dinner. The price is not expensive. There is no restaurant nearby. See a brand picture showing burning Roasting but I didn't find a restaurant. I took a 10-minute car to the Sunxiang Railway Station for dinner. A restaurant called Shanghai Garden. The Sunxiang Railway Station is this hotel. There is a seaside bath near the hotel. It is a place to play in the water and surf. It is a very quiet village. But there is no shop restaurant. It is not bad to live here by car.
