Beautiful Onsen hotel. Visiting a friend at Yuda Onsen, and chanced upon Onn. Japanese standard of service and cleanliness, price is reasonable as well. I love how i could visit the onsen as many times I want. For those who are too shy, you can book one of the two private onsen rooms for ¥3500 per hr which is pretty reasonable in my opinion. Free flow of coffee at the coffee machine at the reception. Too many great things at this hotel to be written in a few words. Only downside would be the really tiny rooms but most Japanese hotels are tiny anyway.
Rooms were clean, check in was easy, breakfast was satisfactory. The info related to parking in the reviews is incorrect. The hotel does not have its own parking and you need to use pay parking close by the hotel. There are several options at different price levels, and the hotel recommends which one to use upon check-in but be advised that the parking lots begin to fill up as the day gets later so the later you arrive, the more you pay for parking, and hopefully all does not fill up. Overall, I would go back if I the area, it was a great price / value.
It was with a light meal that you can choose from 1 from curry, pilaf, grilled udon, etc.! Coffee and tea were free to drink by yourself, the room was clean and the amenities were well equipped, so I was able to spend a very comfortable time!
The receptionist was kind and nice!
It was a very good place to stay cheaply ✨
After enjoying the hot springs that evening, we enjoyed a kaiseki meal—Yamaguchi Prefecture's famous fugu cuisine. 😋
It was our first time eating fugu. They had fugu sashimi, a small hot pot, fugu chawanmushi, and small fugu tempura. 😅
The waiters were very attentive, explaining the ingredients and cooking methods for each dish so we could savor the flavors. It was much better than our previous experiences at other hot spring inns. A big plus! 👍
The hotel's interior and all the rooms were stylish and spacious,
making me feel cheerful even while inside the building.
The ocean river view from my room was also amazing.
I woke up in the morning and enjoyed the cool breeze in the sauna on the top floor while looking out at the city.
At night, there was a foot bath near the river, so I soaked my feet while listening to the sound of the river and gazing at the starry sky.
I felt so refreshed! Thank you very much.
Its a perfect place to stay to enjoy and experience Yamaguchi. Its very accessible — just walking distance from the train station, and its at the center of the city this makes it easier to access highly recommended tourist spots in Yamaguchi. The staff are all friendly; the rooms are well maintained; and the food are great.
This was a good option if you want to visit the fish market and walk through the underground pedestrian tunnel. It is located near the metro and a bus station is located out front that will take you to the locations. A mall is located next to the hotel which has plenty of eating options. Room was small but very clean. Very helpful front desk. Good option.
It was the best two nights. The service in the building is also substantial, and it was the best to have a footbath and an open-air bath while looking at the sea.
Compared to other hotels in the area, it was very clean, close to the station, and there were pubs nearby, so I had a great time.
The front desk staff was very thorough in explaining things to me, and the hotel's breakfast was delicious, so I was satisfied with my stay!
The atmosphere of the small hotel with a sense of age and the Changmen of the small city of Yamaguchi Prefecture is very suitable. The room and foreign style are just right for the family of three. Come here to fish and return late at night. If you sleep for one night, the overall is greater than expected. I wish the price of the third day is cheaper than the Japanese online booking. A dinner money. Just ate the nearby izakaya, the surrounding food and beverage shops were full of fireworks, the street was no one in the store but the people were moving, the breakfast the next day was simple and exquisite, and the cafe decoration was back to the Showa era. GGuest UserIchinomata Onsen Grand Hotel offers a serene and rejuvenating experience. Set in a beautiful location, it features traditional Japanese architecture and onsen (hot spring) facilities that provide a perfect way to relax. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, often with stunning views of the surrounding nature. Guests can enjoy delicious local cuisine, and the staff is known for their warm hospitality. It's an excellent choice for those looking to unwind and immerse themselves in Japanese culture. Whether you're traveling for leisure or a romantic getaway, Ichinomata Onsen Grand Hotel is a wonderful destination!
MMakmur TanudjajaThough struggling in English translation, staff were very helpful in giving directions to surrounding areas. Upon departing from hotel in the early morning, one of the male staff even checking for us the connecting train, they even prepared the breakfast especially for us to eat before leaving hotel. Very touching and grateful to them. Thank you. Arigato gozaimatsu.

TTsz KiThe room is functional and the Japanese breakfast and dinner are excellent.
The hot spring has multiple special pools, but the hot spring water is not hot enough. It would be better if there is a vending machine selling frozen milk outside the hot spring door.

RRaymondHaving similar apartment booked with the same host for the trip. Frankly, overall experience is good, though this property is a little dusty. Hagi is not a city for shopping, also found it difficult for dining out though quite a number of restaurants around, most of them were fully booked on the day we stay. Have to drive 5 minutes for food around McDonald's and Lawson. It's still a great place to visit and stay at this property and
a property value for money!
