daalilazOld hotel but I think it got refurbished because the room feels modern. Love the balcony as we can enjoy the view without feeling too exposed. Decent breakfast spread, the nasi lemak was good! Chose an outdoor seating and it was the best experience ever. The crews are all so friendly & helpful. Requested for a paid late checkout as we went to see Jeriau Waterfall after breakfast but upon checkout at 2pm they said the lateness fee was waived. Bless them!

WT LiewI recently had the pleasure of staying at B&J Tioman Dive Resort on Tioman Island, and the experience exceeded my expectations in every way. From the moment I arrived until the day I left, it was clear why B&J has built such a strong reputation among divers and travelers alike.
One of the first things that impressed me was the cleanliness of the accommodation. The room was well-maintained, comfortable, and spotless throughout my stay. Housekeeping standards were consistently high, making it easy to relax after a day of diving and exploration. The resort grounds were also kept clean and tidy, creating a welcoming and pleasant environment that reflected the professionalism of the entire team.
What truly made the experience special, however, was the people. Every staff member I encountered was friendly, approachable, and genuinely eager to help. Whether it was assistance at the reception, advice on local activities, or help with dive logistics, the team always greeted guests with a smile. The dive instructors and divemasters deserve particular praise. They were knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing the beauty of Tioman’s underwater world. Their enthusiasm was infectious and helped create a fun and relaxed atmosphere both above and below the surface.
As a diver, I greatly appreciated the balance that B&J strikes between enjoyment and safety. Every dive was well-organized and professionally conducted. Safety briefings were thorough, equipment checks were carried out carefully, and the dive guides remained attentive throughout the dives. Despite maintaining high safety standards, the team ensured that the dives remained enjoyable and memorable. Their familiarity with local dive sites allowed us to maximize our underwater experience while feeling secure at all times. It is reassuring to dive with professionals who clearly prioritize guest safety without compromising the fun and excitement of exploring the reefs.
Another highlight of staying at B&J was the abundance of delicious food available nearby. The resort’s location provides easy access to a variety of eateries offering local Malaysian dishes, fresh seafood, Western options, and refreshing drinks. After a day spent underwater, it was wonderful to have so many excellent dining choices within walking distance. The combination of great diving and great food made every day on the island something to look forward to.
Overall, my stay at B&J Tioman Dive Resort was outstanding. The clean accommodation, warm and friendly staff, professional dive team, strong safety culture, and excellent food options combined to create an unforgettable holiday experience. I would not hesitate to recommend B&J to anyone visiting Tioman Island, whether they are experienced divers, new divers, or simply looking for a relaxing island getaway. Thank you to the entire B&J team for making my trip so enjoyable, and I look forward to returning again in the future.

Guest UserThe suite was good and spacious. It has balcony and the facility around that area is quite good. The view also nice. There is a few cafe to choose from, and retail outlet like The News and KK Mart outlet. There are basic room item provided such as iron and iron board, slippers, toothbrush, soap & Shampoo, kettle, coffee & tea, mugs, TV, safety box and hair dryer, but there is no mineral/drinking water, small fridge or microwave provided. However the check in is quite tricky as you may find the person arranging check in staying in the alley nearby The News outlet, there is no proper reception counter available. The customer service will not answer your call. They only reply via what's app so do not bother to call, you may get scolded by the lady who answered. This can be said as not a hotel service, so do not expect that kind of services from this provider. It is more like AirBnB style. However it was a nice stay just during the night i don't know why there is strange shouting and yelling and disturbing sound once in a while came out from nowhere. so it's quite disturbing my sleep a few time wake up in a shock hearing something unwelcoming sound. But if your ear is sound proof while sleeping i think it will not becoming a problem to you.

Ray Mak Hon KitThe past few days in Kuantan, we stayed at Kuantan Imperium Seaview by AVANZEE and honestly, we loved the experience.
Check-in was smooth, fast and hassle-free. The security guards and staff stationed near the mail room were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating, making the entire process feel easy and comfortable right from the beginning.
Our unit was located on the 7th floor. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully designed with a modern aesthetic feel. It felt like a cozy studio apartment equipped with a simple kitchenette complete with microwave oven, water filter, kettle, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. Hairdryer and iron were also thoughtfully prepared inside the built-in wall cupboard, giving the room a sleek and minimalist appearance.
The TV came with Netflix and YouTube, though we barely had time to use them because Kuantan itself has so much to explore. Internet speed was decent too, which is important especially for travellers, foreigners or content creators who need reliable connectivity.
The bathroom was modern, clean and well-maintained. Shampoo and bath gel were provided as well.
One thing we really appreciated was the sleeping arrangement. Besides the main bed, there were also two very comfortable sofa beds. A family of four can easily stay here comfortably, or even more if travelling with young children. Extra pillows and blankets were also prepared in the cupboard.
Location wise, it’s almost perfect. The property is peacefully located slightly away from the busy city centre, yet still close enough for convenience — just across a short bridge. This balance makes it feel like a relaxing seaside escape without being too isolated.
The seaside is located directly beside the property and is only a short walk from the carpark. Every morning, we could see locals collecting clams along the shore. Their buckets were filled with white clams and edible sea snails, which was honestly quite fascinating to watch.
The facilities here are excellent too. There’s a beautiful swimming pool, wet and dry playgrounds for children, barbecue area and plenty of family-friendly amenities, making it an ideal destination for a family getaway or staycation.
But perhaps the highlight for us was the breathtaking view from the room. Being on the East Coast of Malaysia, we were treated to stunning sunrises every morning as the sunlight reflected beautifully across the crystal-clear sea water. Sunset views can also be enjoyed from the opposite side in the evening.
Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return again — hopefully next time together with the kids and our parents.

LEE KIM YOONGStayed one night at Heritage Hotel in Tanah Rata and it was a solid, convenient choice for a quick Cameron Highlands trip. The location is excellent — just a short walk to restaurants, the night market, and main attractions. Our room was spacious with a lovely view of the misty hills, and the bed was comfortable enough for a good rest after a day of exploring tea plantations and strawberry farms.
Staff were friendly and helpful, especially with check-in and local recommendations. Breakfast was decent with a good variety of local and Western options to start the day. The hotel has a bit of an older charm (some areas feel dated), and housekeeping could be more thorough, but overall it offered great value for the price.
Would recommend for a short, no-fuss stay focused on the highlands experience rather than luxury.

香宝yaThe facilities are complete, and it's within walking distance to convenience stores and some restaurants. It's also a 10-minute drive to the freshwater seafood restaurants in Gotong Jaya. It's a bit far from Genting Theme Park, but this trip was mainly about enjoying the cool weather and family time, which is why we chose to stay here. The elevators get crowded, so you need to check out early, otherwise, you'll be waiting for the elevator for over half an hour.

Anonymous UserThis place is in an attractive and strategic location. It has a private beach with beautiful views and no traffic noise – very peaceful. There are swimming pools for both children and adults. For the kids' pool, there's no entertainment, so you'll need to bring your own pool toys if you want your children to play. There are many room types available and they are very comfortable. You can ask the resort for advice on room selection, as some rooms face the beach and some don't. Some require using a lift, while others allow you to park your car right next to the room. Regardless, always ask the resort for advice on the type of accommodation. This resort is also senior-friendly because it's mostly flat, without many stairs to climb. Breakfast is commensurate with the price. It's a standard open-air resort, so don't expect 5-star hotel standards. But overall, my friends and I are very satisfied. We might try a different room type next time.
