Happy that the entrance for theme park is so near! However, we were allocated the valley wing side. Good thing, it is more peaceful, the nature view is nice. However, abit inconvenient, and if you are unfamiliar with the place, I do see people get confused and lost at the valley wing lift.

The hotel is clean, and there are many great food options nearby. You can also walk to 188 Kuantan Tower and the Mural Street. I'll definitely stay here again if I come back to Kuantan ☺️. Recommended food: Hop Kee Restaurant for Curry Yong Tau Foo 😋 and Miao Kee Restaurant for Pan Mee 😋.

Tras Mutiara Hotel Bentong offers exceptional value for money—it's spotless, well-located, and affordable. Its proximity to D’Apple Fried Chicken, Old Town White Coffee, Watson’s, Family Mart, Petronas, and an RM2 discount store makes it a great choice for quick layovers, family vacations, or business trips. With free parking and clean rooms, it's a solid option for those looking for convenience without breaking the bank. Overall, my experience was a bit disappointing. I had informed the staff a day prior that I would be checking out at 5:30 a.m., and I was told that the front desk operates 24 hours. However, when I went down in the morning, there was no one at the counter. I waited from 5:30 a.m. until 6:10 a.m., and there was still no staff available. During that time, I repeatedly called the number listed on their official website (+60 10-921 2677), but no one answered. At 6:10 a.m., I sent a WhatsApp message with my bank account details and left. The staff only replied around 6:30 a.m., and my deposit was immediately transferred to my account, which I appreciate. Still, I hope the management can improve their coordination and ensure that the front desk is staffed as promised, especially when guests have notified them in advance. Thank you.

Plenty of parking. The yellow marked parking spots are for hotel guests, available in front, on the side, and at the back. The TV is great, I love it. Water pressure is good. Aircon is cold. Pillows are a bit hard. Ironing facilities are outside. There's a Coway water dispenser. Excellent. Would definitely repeat my stay.

Check-in and check-out process was easy. Plenty of parking space. The elevator was out of order, but the staff were very helpful and assisted us in carrying heavy luggage up the stairs to our room. The main door to the room wasn't smooth, and neither was the door to the connecting room. The swimming pool was easily accessible.

I went there for exam at UIA. There is a cockroach when I first enter the room. Told the front desk and they manage to change the room for me. But because it was a peak season, hence no more queen bed room, and hence they change to a twin room for me Waite a while to check in despite I reach at 4pm. Housekeeping needed to remind for many times and they will only do it when they reach to your room. Study time affected a little. Towel was a little worn and dirty Overall with the price I paid, it was an okay stay. Just don’t expect too much with such price range

I’ve been here twice now and it’s always been spotlessly clean and incredibly spacious. Last month I left my belongings here and they kept them safe and returned them to me. Near to eating places.

JJO PKFThe hotel was previously known as Shazan Inn but has since been taken over by the Wyndham brand. The hotel and rooms have undergone refurbishment — exterior roof tiles and walls have been replaced and repainted, while the furniture and fittings are also relatively new. One downside is the limited parking space. If you drive out, you may have to compete for a spot when you return. On the plus side, the location is excellent — just around the corner from the iconic clock tower, main eateries, and shops, all within walking distance. Our stay included breakfast and I have nothing much to complain about. The spread was decent, with an egg station as a plus point. During the two mornings we had breakfast, different dishes were served. The staff and housekeeping team were kind, courteous, diligent, and helpful. Whenever we requested additional items, they attended to us quickly. Good job and keep it up! We stayed for 3 nights in the Temenggong Suite, which comes with 2 bedrooms, a living room, dining area, and kitchen. The downside is that there is only 1 bathroom. Looking back, booking connecting rooms might have been cheaper and more practical. However, the hotel is divided into two wings, and surprisingly, the wing with connecting rooms does not have air-conditioning. While Fraser’s Hill is cooler than most places, it is still not as cold as Genting Highlands or Cameron Highlands, so this was unexpected. The suite was spacious and came with a smart TV in the living room, giving access to Netflix, YouTube, etc., which was useful to keep the kids entertained. There is also a kitchen suitable for simple cooking. However, there was no telephone in the room, meaning requests had to be made by going down to reception. Likewise, the hotel could only contact me through my mobile phone, which was not practical due to poor mobile reception inside the room. Basic amenities were provided, but the water pressure was really low. With only one bathroom and weak water pressure, expect a longer wait if staying with family or a larger group. Another thing to note is that our suite still used a traditional door knob instead of a smart card system, and we were only given one key. I felt slightly uncomfortable as there is always a chance of forgetting to lock the door. Housekeeping also does not have a spare key, so you either leave the door unlocked for cleaning or leave your key with housekeeping/reception. This was not explained during check-in — fortunately, the housekeeping staff informed us. The suite does come with air-conditioning, but it appears to have been modified so the remote control cannot fully operate it. Even when switched off using the remote, the AC continues running with only the vent closed. The only way to turn it off completely is via the wall switch, and adjusting the fan speed or temperature was not possible. Despite the points mentioned above, this hotel does not deserve a poor rating. My family and I genuinely enjoyed our stay. The only things that disappointed me were 1.) the air-conditioning filter, which looked like it had not been cleaned for some time, and 2.) some towels that were old with yellow stains. The suite also felt like it could have been better maintained, as there was noticeable dust and dirt in certain corners. However, these issues were not severe enough to ruin the overall experience. At the end of the day, Wyndham is currently the only international hotel brand in Fraser’s Hill. Most other options are either decades-old apartments, Airbnb units, inns, or motels. I genuinely hope Wyndham continues to maintain and improve its rooms and services despite having very little competition in the area. Overall, it was still a pleasant family stay with a great location, friendly staff, and good potential. With better upkeep and attention to small details, this hotel can easily become the clear standout choice in Fraser’s Hill.

FFarizaMy family had a nice stay at TDR. It lived up to our expectations and MORE. I am writing because I would like to commend the resort for their help in locating my missing backpack (left at the ferry jetty). When we realised we were missing an important bag (dont ask how, things happen i guess) we called the resort and asked the help from the staff to check if we did leave our bag at the jetty which was a 10 minutes-walk away from the resort. They immediately went to check but the bag was not there. It seemed that TDR didn’t just leave the matter at that, and I dont know how they managed it, but 6.5 hrs later they called to inform me that the bag was on another ferry on its way to a different jetty 30 minutes away from us on the mainland. Kudos to the Bluewater ferry service for picking up the abandoned bag and sent it to their office albeit at a different nearby location. Again, I dont know how but i am so glad that TDR was able to get that information and relayed it back to us. After more than 8 hours of despair, with God’s will, we got back our bag with the help of the staff of the resort, the staff of the Bluewater ferry service and possibly the networking within the small island. Thank you so much for the help TDR. Thank you for making this a really memorable trip with a happy ending.

SSHEREEN KHAIRUNISAThe place itself is nice, and the unit is very spacious — definitely suitable for a big family. We enjoyed the stay overall because the house was comfortable and had plenty of space for everyone. However, the check-in process was a bit confusing at first. We initially went to a different receptionist because we thought it was the correct one, but apparently they were from a different company. We were quite surprised to find out that we had to collect the key from the MyNews store, where someone was waiting there. Honestly, it felt a little suspicious at first because 3 days before our stay, I had a few questions to ask but the contact number provided couldn’t be reached at all, and nobody replied. When we arrived during the rain and went to the wrong place to collect the key, we kept calling and trying to find someone but couldn’t get through. Luckily, we eventually figured it out. The unit also had a washing machine, but unfortunately it wasn’t usable. We also had some difficulty entering the unit at first because the key card didn’t detect properly. My suggestion would be to provide an active contact number that guests can easily reach and clearer instructions on where and how to collect the key, especially if calls are difficult to answer. That would make the overall experience much smoother.

RRay Mak Hon KitThe past few days in Kuantan, we stayed at Kuantan Imperium Seaview by AVANZEE and honestly, we loved the experience. Check-in was smooth, fast and hassle-free. The security guards and staff stationed near the mail room were friendly, welcoming and very accommodating, making the entire process feel easy and comfortable right from the beginning. Our unit was located on the 7th floor. The room was clean, spacious and beautifully designed with a modern aesthetic feel. It felt like a cozy studio apartment equipped with a simple kitchenette complete with microwave oven, water filter, kettle, refrigerator and kitchen utensils. Hairdryer and iron were also thoughtfully prepared inside the built-in wall cupboard, giving the room a sleek and minimalist appearance. The TV came with Netflix and YouTube, though we barely had time to use them because Kuantan itself has so much to explore. Internet speed was decent too, which is important especially for travellers, foreigners or content creators who need reliable connectivity. The bathroom was modern, clean and well-maintained. Shampoo and bath gel were provided as well. One thing we really appreciated was the sleeping arrangement. Besides the main bed, there were also two very comfortable sofa beds. A family of four can easily stay here comfortably, or even more if travelling with young children. Extra pillows and blankets were also prepared in the cupboard. Location wise, it’s almost perfect. The property is peacefully located slightly away from the busy city centre, yet still close enough for convenience — just across a short bridge. This balance makes it feel like a relaxing seaside escape without being too isolated. The seaside is located directly beside the property and is only a short walk from the carpark. Every morning, we could see locals collecting clams along the shore. Their buckets were filled with white clams and edible sea snails, which was honestly quite fascinating to watch. The facilities here are excellent too. There’s a beautiful swimming pool, wet and dry playgrounds for children, barbecue area and plenty of family-friendly amenities, making it an ideal destination for a family getaway or staycation. But perhaps the highlight for us was the breathtaking view from the room. Being on the East Coast of Malaysia, we were treated to stunning sunrises every morning as the sunlight reflected beautifully across the crystal-clear sea water. Sunset views can also be enjoyed from the opposite side in the evening. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return again — hopefully next time together with the kids and our parents.

GGuest UserI had such a wonderful stay at Heritage Hotel Cameron Highlands and I’m truly happy with my entire experience. From the moment I arrived, every team member made me feel so welcomed. The staff from Front Office, F&B, and Housekeeping were all incredibly helpful, friendly, and attentive throughout my stay. Their genuine kindness really stood out to me. What I appreciated the most is that whenever I requested anything, there was never a “no.” The team was always ready to assist with open arms, making my stay smooth, comfortable, and stress-free. I also really loved the room view it was beautiful and I truly enjoyed it throughout my stay. Honestly, the service felt like a 5-star hotel experience. It’s rare to find such consistent and warm hospitality, and I’m truly grateful for it. I will definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Cameron Highlands. Thank you for making my stay so memorable!

GGuest UserI booked the Royal suite but what I get like economy suite. No toiletries except hair shampoo and shower liquid. Slipper, oral care, face towel only sent upon request. Tissue box was empty. Asked soap bar for hand wash, the staff told me not provided. After I complaint the staff sent me a bottle of hand wash which like Belong to someone. My room has pool but only provide 2 bath towels. When request, can give another 2 only. Means I can enter my pool 1x only. If enter more no towel to use. Charge high price but provide below basic services . The reception counter is on top and get wet when raining. Only 1 person on duty, if this person go to toilet. Have to wait for her to come back. Breakfast very basic, less protein, no chicken nor fried or scrambled egg … just hard boiled egg cut into half for Nasi Lemak. Only 1 word: kedekut operator and lack of hospitality skills.

GGuest UserLocation: 8/10 The location is convenient and accessible to nearby attractions and amenities. Cleanliness: 6/10 The room was generally acceptable, but cleanliness could be improved. The property appears dated and some areas show signs of wear and tear. Room: 5/10 The room was quite small and felt cramped, especially for longer stays. As the hotel is relatively old, the facilities and furnishings are noticeably dated. Comfort: 5/10 Guests are advised to keep the windows closed, as mosquitoes and insects may enter the room if the windows are left open. Overall: 5.5/10 The hotel offers basic accommodation, but the age of the property, small room size, average cleanliness, and issues with insects may affect the overall stay experience. Suitable for a short stay if location is the main priority.
