Located in central Puno near the old cathedral square so whatever tours you book there’s zero chance they don’t know where to pick u up. The little frustration (as in a lot of Latin American old towns) is that not every street in the old town is drivable. So say you booked a trip there’s a good chance you will walk two three blocks to jump on a bus but your tour guide will sort it out
When people go Puno u usually either stay in the city or further out to be on a floating island. In my case I chose convenience over experience
The hotel is generally clean. Breakfast is “alright” not pampered for choice but sufficient variety still
Otherwise pretty no frills hotel. By the way they don’t give out free water here apart from your daily allocation of two bottles just buy from outside
I wasn’t entirely sure the price is worth it I’ll never know I paid usd160 for two nights. Could have gone cheaper I suppose because it’s no more than a three star hotel experience wise either
He gave me the best 5th floor room with a view, but Lake Titicaca is at a glance. .It was hard when I climbed the stairs, so I gave me a coca tea and thanks to the kind people, I took a pleasant rest ~~ ^^
The hotel is in a quiet street close to the main square and main streets too, just about 5-6 minutes walk. Very impressed by the excellent services of their staff, especially Jimena, who can speak fluent English and was so helpful to make calls for me to my guides upon my requests. I stayed there for two nights. And one very accommodating thing was that they had tea bags, coffee, hot water and cups ready in each floor of the hotel so everybody didn't need to go down stairs to get some hot drinks and simply walked out the room a little to get access to drinks whenever needed. So convenient and I was deeply impressed !! Details make differences and I think the hotel is doing excellent in this. The breakfast was quite nice too with many kinds of fresh fruits, and strong wifi and hot shower in room !! The price was absolutely at perfect value. Highly recommended !!
Overall good, good location, hygienic, thoughtful service, good hot water, rich breakfast. It's just that the window faces the street, so it can be a bit noisy sometimes. Hot water is available at the front desk. When you feel thirsty after playing, you can drink hot water immediately.

The room was very clean and you could go to the Arms Square for a minute. Great location. The breakfast was very rich, one or two new foods were changed every day, and the staff was very enthusiastic. The half-day tour of the floating island is also booked at the hotel, 6 dollars, including the hotel-quay transfer, before the Peru hop to see 15 dollars, this itinerary is reasonable, the floating island is worth seeing.
The only thing worth recommending is that the location is very good, next to the Puno Arms Square, it is very convenient for wandering and sightseeing. On the day of check-in, I caught up with the Peruvian Candle Festival. I walked out of the hotel door and saw the parade dancing. It was a huge surprise.
Close to city center, warm room, fast wifi.
simple breakfast but that's typical for Peru

EEeeE_The night staying with Jesus and Mari was more than I expected.
The room and the bathroom are literally brand new, very clean, comfortable and relaxing. I slept well and warm at night.
They're expanding their island, so it makes my stay more unique by witnessing the process. A real experience!
I spent a lot of time just taking a sunbath, naps, and reading the book which they provided in the room - it was about Taquile island, very interesting and informative!
Jesus also took me on a Uros tour. We even went collecting the **** Totora! He shared a lot of knowledge about their culture and lifestyle. Besides Uros, he also knows a lot about Taquile.
Mari instead showed me her beautiful artwork, which we're able to bring back if we want 🧡 And the lunch she cooked, uuuuf, delicious and abundant! With a lot of veggies and fresh trucha. I couldn't even finish it.
And I highly recommend the location, it's on the edge of the Uros community, so tourists don't see us, and we're not bothered. I enjoyed the whole view of the lake and the night scene of Puno by myself.
Bring your camera if you love photography. The sunset and the Milky way are charming.
Btw, Jesus will take us from the port Kalapajra to the island. From the center, the red minibus only costs 1 sole.
He replied WhatsApp quite promptly.
The check-in/checkout was also flexible. Really appreciate it.
I would love to stay 2-3 more days on Kontiki if the time allows! Felt it's much worth than just a day tour.

GGuest UserThe restaurant service is good, we buy the remaining burgers at noon and heat them up and put them on the plate to allow them to be enjoyed in the room, which is moving!
When we left the next day, we recommended to take a carpool and save 60 Saul, thank you!
FFat fat pugThe hotel has a good location near Witch Square. Since I arrived at the hotel late at night, I could immediately visit the witch-themed shops next door after checking in. There are several pizza shops and a Chaplin-themed hamburger joint next to the hotel. The hotel facilities are average, but the service is quite good. Because I had to catch a flight the next morning, the staff arranged a taxi for me to go to the airport in advance. The hotel is in a relatively noisy area in the city center, so when I picked up my room, the staff asked if I wanted to stay on the side closer to the street or the back, further away. After 1 a.m., the hotel became less noisy, and the loud music from the sidewalk started to disappear. However, I was only staying one night and for only a few hours, so I didn't find it a big problem.
