City Hub pods are an ingenious idea particularly for solo Travelers, backpackers or those that have simple needs. As I was travelling with my 16 year-old son we had to share a pod which meant it became quite squashed however super cool idea, very clean, very comfortable, fantastic facilities, friendly stuff And on a lively creative and buzzing street. My only complaint was that until around 2 am and from 8 am, I could hear people walking about on the floor above me which was really disturbing when I wanted a good night sleep. Would use a city hub again for slick service convenience and great facilities but not sharing one!
Near the Rotterdam airport. Easy check-in & check-out process but slight delay where reception cannot verify the payment has been made in Trip apps, thus we need to forward the booking confirmation email to the receptionist.
Located in the heart of Rotterdam. Easy access to the central railway station. Plenty of eateries and C-store nearby. Tere is a shopping district within walking distance. Reasonable pricing. Most definitely my first choice for my next trip. At night, the streets downstairs are a little noisy but does not last till midnight.
A new hotel. I booked this hotel because it was cheap and easy to get to by tram from The Hague.
It's a 3-4 minute walk from the tram station.
A self-check-in hotel using the touch panel.
Because the hotel is basically unmanned, you need a password even to open the entrance door. I was told that the password was sent to me by email in advance, but I couldn't find it, so I pressed the intercom and a staff member opened it for me right away. They don't usually show themselves to guests, but it seems that there is a staff member somewhere in the hotel.
It seems that they are operating with the bare minimum. There were basically no amenities, not even an internal line or a hair dryer. If you had any problems, you had to call someone's phone number. It was a beautiful hotel, so I was surprised that there was no hair dryer. I called to check, but it seems that they don't have one. Isn't it rare for a room without a hair dryer in a new hotel like this these days?
There was a coffee maker, desk, and chair in the common area at the front desk. It was spacious and there were many of them, so it seemed like a good place to work. Drinks were charged. Even hot water was 2 euros.
It was close to the sea, and it took 5 minutes to get there. It was nice to take a walk at dusk. There are many supermarkets in the area. The supermarket next door seems to be open until midnight.

Some capsules are located very close to the toilet, which can be a bit noisy at night, with people showering and using the restroom. The mattresses were very comfortable, but there were no electrical outlets, only a USB port. The common area was generally nice, with plenty of seating and cushioned sofas.

Advantages: The service staff is very warm, the location is very close to the tram, and the environment is clean.
Disadvantages: There is no curtain on the bed, the decoration is old, and the lights are dim and not bright.
Conclusion: Suitable for short stays, friends who like nostalgic style.

Originally this was quite good. The breakfast was rich and allowed to take out. It was worth the money, but the room was facing the street and the traffic was very noisy. The most unbearable thing was the shower. The cubicle was too small to turn around. Photos The one above is also worthy of a shower? ! The drizzle of water is still high above, and it depends on the reflection of the wall to wet the body. Can this be considered a bath?

GGuest Userreceptionist was rude. initially she assigned me a room on 3rd floor, i went up to the room and there was literally someone sleeping on the bed. so i went to front desk again to ask for another room. she sighed in disbelief like i'm a dumb person. she questioned me and was generally rude (sighing, not even saying sorry for the mistake, and not nice). she just silently did some admin work and give me a new card without saying a single thing.
room and toilet was ok but a bit ghetto, the lobby of the hostel seemed promising but in reality, the hallways of the room seemed suspicious and unsafe. there were people just hanging around there, sitting in the staircase (in a suspicious way, not a cool socializing way). walls are super super thin, we could hear parents scolding their kids and the kids screaming and crying. i wouldn't recommend this place considering their high price.
GGuest UserLong wait just to check-in, there was merely one person working the front desk. . Friendly receptionist though. There were no choices except a room without a window. It is located in a dungeon-like, secluded part of the hotel building. The exhaust fan keeps running the entire time and becomes a nuisance at night. There is a stench inside the room and the corridoor was even worse. The world hydrogen summit and exhibition was in town and I ran out of options, otherwise, I would have chosen another premise.
AAnonymous UserIn order to catch the Flixbus to Brussels Airport at 4:50 in the morning, I booked a youth hostel near central. It seemed to have just opened and not many people were staying there. Just keep walking straight from Rotterdam Central. It takes about 15-20 minutes. There is Chinatown nearby where you can eat. The girls' dormitory is on the third floor. There are rooms with four beds (with windows) and rooms with two beds (without windows). There is basically no space in the room except for the bunk beds. There are charging sockets at the bedside. There are two shared toilets and two shared bathrooms on one floor. The stairs are too high and too long, which makes it difficult to move with a suitcase.
GGuest UserFirst time solo travelling and picked this hotel due to its location, look and price. Easy accessible to the train station (only a 20 minute walk) and 20 to 30 minutes to sights i wanted to see. The centre for all your shops and eateries where a 35 minute walk. Bus stops only at the end of the road but I never used them as I was happy to walk everywhere. The room was clean and spacious. Loved the shower especially after a long day walking. Everything was explained to me (Wi-Fi, tv, air-con). Plus a super comfy bed.
GGuest UserThere is no elevator, the stairs are beyond imagination, the boss is very good, very enthusiastic, help with luggage and lie down the stairs. Cheap price, poor setting

MMiSs TEe 1963I have stayed here many times and this time upon check in there was only one person on..around 1520 hrs. After being on the road from 0900hrs with trains and planes was tired already and waited 1hr at the desk to check in. Unacceptable as 1hr out of my vacation !
Not as comfortable as usual. Beds somewhat harder for me personally
Staff very good . .
