Hotel stay was comfortable but the room service allowed yourself to forget about the evening service for three days. Bedding was changed once every three days... but smile and politely promise.

It's one of the best hotels I've ever stayed. Unforgettable location, u can wall for ages around the chateu.
Welcoming staff was very nice.
Terrace was great for drinks, as well as breakfast.
Service at the vine testing bar was nit very well, girl was a bit slow and started doing other things while not finishing others. In general the stay was fantastic

The place is considered new and well constructed. However, we are not too impressed with the wine tour they have provided. We were arriving quite early and was offered a free wine tasting and that was excellent. However, we had extra time and decided to went for a wine tour costing 10 euros per person (30 in total) and all the guy did was just walked us to a small chapel within the property ( no wineyard no fermenting process, no nothing just BS story about how the chateau was taken over by generations). It left us bad impression at the checkin and we were hoping the hotel is more considerable.

The island of Re itself is really worth a visit. A few charming ports linked by a network of pathways to be explored- of course- by bike- criss-crossing the sandy earth. Saint Martin- surrounded by the Vauban fortifications- is the best place to stop. Your base a 17th century shipbuilders residence with windows overlooking the port. The mast of a fishing boat may perhaps disturb your views of the setting sun. But would that really bother you.

The location of the shop is very good, you can walk to the city center in ten minutes, the hotel is very clean and beautiful, the sun is full, the service is very good, it is the most satisfying hotel for this trip.

The hotel is outrageous in historical layout. Super location in city center close to all the best place. Lots of shopping options and best restaurants. near all the night activities. No need for taxi just walk along the main road for sightseeing. Close to convenient public transportation. Staff are very friendly and helpful. They have lots of information about activities to do. Breakfast is wonderful and tasty! I recommend to any one visiting Bordeaux. I will return!

Supernice and supergood hotel, marvelous room and central downtown location.
Normally i book rooms in the 100-150E range. I decided to go a bit more luxurious and i tremendously enjoyed it. Im an easy going traveler, i was i Bordeaux to assess architecture and urbanism projects. I rented a bike to go around the city.
The hotel staff is very naturel an friendly, no rush to empty your wallet but rather making sure you have a great time...
Best hotel experience i had i a lon time travelling the globe. Wholeheartedly recommended!!

One of the best hotel I’ve ever stayed.
Really love the experience with hotel de Pavie from the room to the lovely garden and the view.
The service was flawless too !
The breakfast was great with nice view and not to mention the friendly staffs.

Booked a premium room and double spa to celebrate my wife’s birthday.
The hotel upgraded our room to a large suite and gave us a wine tasting.
I didn’t have breakfast, but the lunch was of excellent quality. I wanted to book a dinner at the Michelin-starred restaurant, but it was closed on Monday and Tuesday.

DDr.HeinkeExcellent! The service is sensationally good. The rooms are clean, large enough with small kitchen and refrigerator. The pool is very well maintained and there is a pool bar. The hottest day of Europe, this hotel was our rescue. We had a problem with the car the staff was super nice and helped bring our car to the deep garage. The bar is well equipped and you get professional information for drink.
We used the wellness area with sauna, steam sauna and massage. There were overall only positive experiences. The staff is everybody in individual multilingual. Great! We're happy to come back.
