"It has a great location, close to many shops, supermarket and restaurants in the area. Around 10 min walk from the Antwerp Central train station and has quite a few public transport connections. The bed was quite confortable and nice spacious bathroom. The only downside is that the AC is not working, and even thou they provided an alternative, it's a bit warm during the summer days. But in all, was a good option for a night or two in Antwerp. Highly recommended for a quick trip in the city."

GGuest UserWe stayed at Leonardo Plaza Antwerp on 23 April 2026 and booked a room for three people, with our daughter sleeping on the sofa bed. At check-in around 4 PM, reception already mentioned the sofa bed might not be prepared and asked us to let them know if bedding was missing so they could arrange it.
When we arrived in room 72, there was indeed no bedding or towels for a third person. We reported this at reception around 5 PM and were assured it would be taken care of. After attending a concert, we returned to the hotel at 11:45 PM, only to find nothing had been arranged. Bedding still had to be brought to the room, which took another 30 minutes.
Because our daughter was exhausted, she had already fallen asleep in the double bed, so one of the adults ended up sleeping on the sofa bed once it was made up. Unfortunately, the sofa bed was extremely hard and uncomfortable. It felt like it needed a mattress topper.
That was disappointing, especially since the issue was known and reported well in advance. That said, the room itself was otherwise very good and comfortable, and the breakfast was excellent. Unfortunately, the missing bedding and uncomfortable sofa bed were a real letdown and affected our overall experience.

AAnonymous UserMy stay at this hotel was absolutely wonderful. The hotel is beautiful, clean, and very peaceful, which made it a perfect place to relax after a long day of exploring the city. One of the best things about this hotel is its location. It is situated very close to Antwerp Central Station, which makes transportation extremely convenient, especially if you are arriving by train or planning to travel around Belgium.
The surrounding area is calm, safe, and very pleasant to walk around. Within just a short walk, you can find many lovely streets, shops, restaurants, and cafés. I also loved that it is close to Antwerp Zoo, which is one of the oldest zoos in Europe and definitely worth visiting. The neighborhood has a very charming atmosphere, and simply walking around the area felt like part of the experience.
The hotel itself was very comfortable and well maintained. The room was neat, nicely arranged, and provided a relaxing environment after a busy day in the city. The overall ambiance of the hotel felt quiet and welcoming, which made my stay even more enjoyable.
The only small thing that could be improved is the heating. It would have been even better if the room heater could make the room warmer, especially during colder weather. Aside from that, everything else about my stay was great.
Overall, I truly enjoyed my stay and would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Antwerp. The combination of the excellent location, peaceful environment, and comfortable rooms makes it a great place to stay while exploring the city.

GGuest UserThe location is within walking distance to the central station, the neigbourhood is in jewish zone, therefore the weekend is very quite, a good advantage.

AAnonymous UserThe stay overall was nice, had good breakfast, and great location. The rooms were really cold and the little electric heater sadly didn’t do us much justice. Maybe not ideal for colder seasons. Also the pictures didn’t clearly show that the shower would be in the room with nothing to cover the part? The pictures pf the room we booked showed a seperate bathroom so we were confused. Not ideal for family settings but we only stayed two nights which made it more bearable.

AAnonymous UserReally like this serviced apartment a lot, with a nice aesthetic design. Room was large enough for me (1 bed apartment with sofa, apparently the sofa is given as a room upgrade over the room type I booked so it can be a little misleading when booking). I stayed at Quellin Apartment block so it requires a bit of a walk from the main entrance, but the apartments in Quellin seem to be larger than the ones in the Frankrijklel block. Having heavy lugagge will not be convenient if staying in Quellin block, given there are steps between both blocks and the wheelchair lift has yet to be repaired. Towels, tea/coffee and toilet rolls are free to take from Level 1 Essentials room. If you can’t remember your PIN code, you can use the Numa app to open the entrance and room doors, just that the PIN code is still required for the lifts. It will be more ideal if room slippers are provided. Overall, I had a comfortable stay especially given it is near many supermarkets (Albert Heijn, Jumbo; while Lidl is just downstairs), steps away from Opera underground tram station, walkable to Antwerpen-Centraal Station, and walkable to Groenplaats.

In reality, it's very close and more convenient for dining and shopping than hotels like NH Collection or A Stay, which claim to be 260 meters away. During Tomorrowland, hotels can skyrocket to over 3000 a night, but this one is still considered expensive even in the off-season, which suggests decent quality…
Another plus for this hotel is that the rooms are relatively larger. However, despite being renovated, the overall feel is still a bit dated.

SShufuyouThis was our second stay at this hotel, and the location is fantastic, right next to Antwerp Central Station, arguably the most beautiful train station in Europe. It's also right next to the Chocolate Museum, and within walking distance of the Old Town and Grote Markt.
The hotel breakfast is absolutely amazing, served in a flamingo-themed restaurant. Even the ginger tea is presented in a unique way that stands out from other cafes.
But the best part is the service! We got completely soaked today, and even after checking out and returning to the hotel, the staff went above and beyond, getting a hairdryer to help us dry our hair and clothes!
