Super efficient pick-up service- appreciate the speediness as our flight landed in the wee hours of the morning. Great location being close to the airport for us to rest up. There are multiple dedicated check in porches which provides a private check-in service. Room and bedsheets are clean, with the pillows being super comfortable as a plus! Strongly recommended! :)

This Chinese-style guesthouse completely exceeded our expectations. Tucked away in a bustling area, it offers a peaceful retreat that's surprisingly easy to find with navigation. Turning the corner and stepping inside felt like entering a hidden gem. I was initially worried about finding it, but the host went above and beyond with both calls and messages to guide us – a truly thoughtful touch.
The overall decor is authentic modern Chinese, with wooden furnishings and carefully designed courtyard landscaping evident in every detail. Every time we passed by, the front desk staff warmly greeted us, always polite and respectful. It really made us feel valued.
Our room was incredibly quiet throughout our stay, with no noise disturbances at night. The room itself was spotless, and the mosquito control on the second floor was excellent. We could open the windows to soak in the atmosphere of the old city, and the comfortable Yunnan climate combined with the ancient architectural setting made for a truly delightful experience.

We love the free laundry service, the hotel staff sent our washed and dried clothes to our rooms the next morning. All towels were sealed in bags to ensure cleanliness. We were served honey drinks immediately when the staff met us at the counter. The rooms we booked were spacious. The location is definitely excellent. I highly recommend this hotel.

The homestay is located near to pickup or dropping point. Very convenient for Didi or taxy. The distance between ancient town and homestay takes about 3-5 minutes depends on how quick you climb up or going down the stairs😬 The host also very kind and helpful when we asked to upgrade our room for a better view. Also he make sure to gave us tea every night. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will repeat here in the future🥳

First off, I have to give a huge shout-out to the handsome boss! He helped us drag our luggage from the ancient town entrance all the way to the inn, and did the same when we left. Otherwise, our arms would have been numb! I was pleasantly surprised to find out he speaks Cantonese, which instantly made us feel so much more at home. He was incredibly warm and attentive.
This is truly the most charming and comfortable accommodation I've ever stayed in. So many details surpassed what you'd find in a five-star hotel, like the bathroom scale and mini-fridge. We were even reminded to take an umbrella before heading out, and the front desk had a cabinet stocked with various daily necessities – truly thoughtful.
Funnily enough, it rained heavily on our second day in Lijiang, so we couldn't really explore much and ended up soaked and freezing. But when we got back to the inn, we saw two adorable big dogs lying right outside our room. They came over, nudged us, and played around us, instantly cheering us up. Suddenly, the day didn't seem so bad after all! ~( ´▽`)
Even though we only stayed for two nights, it was hard to leave. If we hadn't already planned our itinerary, I would have loved to spend an entire day just relaxing in the courtyard. While the room's soundproofing isn't amazing, the overall atmosphere makes it easy to fall asleep. It's truly a perfect place for a relaxing 'retirement-style' stay.
In a nutshell, it's 'Píng Liàng Zhèng' – affordable, beautiful, and excellent!
Wishing all the friends at the inn peace, joy, and a life free of worries.

Highly recommend staying in this hotel if you’re in Xishuangbanna. It’s a great location around a 10-minute walk from the huge Starlight Night Market, but despite this central location it’s also very peaceful, especially in the amazing infinity pool overlooking the river.
The hotel staff are very friendly and you can contact them via WeChat if you have any issues.

Located within the Honghe Water Town urban tourism complex in the southern part of Mile City, this hotel boasts convenient transportation. Adjacent to a wetland park, it enjoys lush greenery and a tranquil, beautiful setting. The surrounding commercial street offers a wide variety of businesses, making it a well-established and mature destination.
On the evening of my stay, the shower water temperature was slightly low. Upon receiving feedback, the butler promptly contacted the engineer for improvement. We suggest adding non-slip mats or floor towels to the shower areas and perhaps creating local attraction guides, souvenirs, and other gifts for guests.
Although still in its trial operation period, the service was warm and efficient, the rooms were clean and hygienic, and the experience of the signature storm hot spring and public soaking pools exceeded expectations. Compared to other local products, the price-performance ratio is outstanding, making it a worthwhile choice for future stays.
I had an amazing stay at this hotel in Lijiang. The reception staff, especially Liang Jingru, was incredibly kind. He was always ready to help us, even carrying our bags. When I left something behind at the hotel, he kindly offered to send it to our next destination. The room was also upgraded, which was a lovely surprise. The hotel is in a great location, close to many attractions, and everything was spotless. the hotel facilities were excellent—everything was modern and comfortable. The breakfast provided had a great variety, including options that is muslim friendly. Every interaction we had was warm, and the staff was always attentive. Even got a gift during check out. Overall, it made the whole trip so much more enjoyable, and I would definitely stay here again!
I loved the place. The location is pretty convenient to get to all major attractions. There is also a relatively big 24/7 convenient store on the first floor and dome places to ear nearby. The room is spacious- I especially loved high ceilings. But the best thing is a tea-place with panorama windows- it is really lovely to have a rest at this place, overviewing the city and mountains. The service and breakfast are also quite nice. I enjoyed the cosmetics and tea offered by the hotel - really good staff. The cleaning service was very decent - daily refills of mini-bar and tea, throughly washing and vacuuming, towels change. I would really love to stay here the next time I visit Kunming

AAnonymous UserI recently stayed at this brand-new hotel (opened in 2024), and it was such a nice experience. If you want a place with lots of extras, this is it. They have two pool tables, a small rooftop pool, and two gyms—one for yoga and Pilates with all the equipment, and another with treadmills, bikes, free weights, and even a Smith machine. There’s also a laundry room with washers, which was really handy.
The breakfast was delicious with plenty of choices, but you’ll want to arrive early to get the best selection. The staff were all very friendly, but Fei Xiu (绯袖) on WeChat was especially helpful—she answered all my questions quickly and made everything easy.
The location isn’t right on the riverbank near the Starlight Market, but it’s not far from tourist spots either. It’s actually in a good spot if you want a quieter stay while still being close enough to everything.
If you’re looking for a modern, well-equipped hotel with great service, I’d definitely recommend this one!

GGuest UserThe best decision I made in Shangri-La was choosing this guesthouse; it single-handedly made my entire high-altitude trip enjoyable! The location is superb, just a few minutes' walk from Dukezong Ancient Town's Moonlight Square and the Giant Prayer Wheel. It’s wonderfully quiet yet centrally located, perfect for exploring and dining out, then returning to a peaceful retreat. The room was spotlessly clean, the bedding was soft, and the bathroom had a great wet/dry separation. Most importantly, it came with an individual oxygen concentrator, which meant I wasn't worried about altitude sickness at all on my first high-altitude trip, and I slept incredibly soundly. The owner is super enthusiastic, offering free airport transfers both ways. The breakfast was varied, with delicious Yunnan rice noodles, and the service was attentive yet unobtrusive. Any requests were handled super quickly. It offers an immersive ******* living experience while still providing modern comforts. Next time I'm in Shangri-La, I'll definitely stay here again. I genuinely recommend it to anyone visiting Diqing!
MM21810****Choosing the Adaman Hotel by Mingyoo Li Cheng was absolutely the best decision I made for this Xishuangbanna trip. From the moment I stepped in, I was captivated by the corridors enveloped in tropical greenery, exuding an exotic vibe. Every snapshot I took turned into a stunning, atmospheric photo. The room was spacious and cozy, with smart controls throughout, making everything super convenient. The bedding was incredibly soft and skin-friendly, ensuring a wonderfully restful sleep every night.
The location is also fantastic – close to the airport, which makes getting around a breeze. Whether you want to escape the crowds for some peaceful time or explore Xishuangbanna's beautiful sights, this place is perfectly suited. I'll definitely be staying here again on my next visit to Xishuangbanna!

DDapanongxiansimayiShangri-La Mukas Manor truly exceeded all my expectations! Opening the window, I was greeted by stunning views of Shika Snow Mountain and the Napa Lake wetland. The Tibetan-style decor was both cozy and elegant. The room was clean and spacious, and the underfloor heating plus oxygen supply was incredibly thoughtful – no need to worry about altitude sickness at all. The service was impeccable; upon check-in, we were offered butter tea and snacks, and they were very patient and helpful with our itinerary questions, responding quickly to all our needs. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious, and we even got to interact with some adorable pets. The peaceful and healing environment is perfect for photos, making this stay in Shangri-La absolutely worth it. Highly recommend!

GGuest UserWe booked a family room, which was very spacious and comfortable for three people. The hotel service was excellent, and we extended our stay immediately. The receptionist was very welcoming and recommended good food and fun activities. They quickly resolved any issues, prioritizing customer satisfaction. 👍 The hotel is located behind the Peacock Tower, and there are many restaurants nearby. However, being in a tourist area, prices are not cheap, and the roads inside Gaozhuang are very congested; it's difficult to get a taxi in at night. The hotel is within walking distance of the Starlight Night Market, which is worth a visit.
OOlive GohWhen I started planning our itinerary for our 15 day Yunnan holiday, I plotted out our path to go all the way up to Shangri-la, back down to Kunming and then to Jiaozi Snow Mountain and Dongchuan Red Land. Then I chanced upon a video of Aini Garden and fell in love! The only reason we came to Pu'er was to get to Aini. This was the first place I booked, and I really took a chance because it has a no cancellation policy and I really had to stick to the date once it was made.
The initial pre-arrival experience was less than pleasant. I didn't know how we were going to get to the manor and my WeChat messages went unanswered. The hotel we stayed at in Pu'er finally got in touch with someone and got them to message me. I asked how we could get there and the answer was a curt ”take a taxi or charter a car”. No pleasantries of ”we look forward to seeing you” or offering to arrange a car.
When we arrived, no one was at reception and no one came out. Our driver was so perplexed he wondered if we were in the right place and if the place was open. Finally a young girl came out and registered us in. There was an air of aloofness from everyone else. However, once we were checked in, things warmed up quickly. We were offered coffee and freshly cut papaya and had a nice introduction chat with the lady staff.
The bedroom and bathroom is well appointed, spacious and comfortable. We would have enjoyed sitting on the balcony if the chairs were more comfortable. I love the floor to ceiling glass windows but the panel above the door should also be glass (it is just netting) so traffic sounds from the road actually comes through at night. I actually wanted to book the cottage in the hills but opted for the standard room in the main house because I was worried it would be cold. Big regret as it is actually magnificently located with stunning views. However take note that you will need to call for a buggy ride or make a 1km hike every time you want to eat or get to the main house. If you are self driving, no issues as you can park right next to the cottage. Anyway it's a small price to pay for an unlimited view of the milky way and seclusion.
This is as close to a Ryokan experience as you can get in China, minus the hot springs. 3 days 2 nights of blissful, carefree living is not quite enough. They make sure they feed you well, with the freshest produce available for hotpot dinner and home-cooked Yunnanese dishes for lunch. There are so many activities organised, from taking you up the mountain for a glimpse of sunrise (with mountain goats for company ❤️) to coffee plantation education tour to horseback riding along the mountain ridges (the view is spectacular!) to scavenging for wild vegetables and fruits to drinking, dancing and singing around the campfire! So much to do, so little time!
One area of improvement I personally would like to see is the coffee serving. They tend to be quite snobbish about how their coffee is taken. Neat, with nothing else. Asking for sugar or milk feels nearly scorned upon. Coffee is a versatile drink and can be savoured in a huge variety of ways. How else is Starbucks so successful? I felt kind of stifled and deprived because I love a good latte and had looked forward to enjoying an unlimited indulgence of coffee throughout our stay.
Anyhow, I love the ecotourism efforts here. It feels natural and unpretentious. I love the people and the camaraderie they cultivate. I especially enjoyed talking to their consultant 敬梅, a beautiful lady with extensive knowledge in Yunnan culture and ecological progress. Also thank you to 徐芳 for arranging transport back to town and giving helpful recommendations. We hope to return again.
NNihat ErWe had an amazing stay at this hotel and would definitely give it a 10/10.
The hotel is very clean, well organized, and feels luxurious. Our room was beautiful and featured a large bathtub in front of a huge window with a breathtaking view of the lake and the Snow Mountain.
Another highlight was the breakfast service. Breakfast was delivered directly to our room every morning, and the quality was excellent. We could choose between a Western breakfast and a Chinese breakfast, and the staff also carefully respected our dietary wishes, especially regarding not eating meat or pork.
The service overall was outstanding. The staff were always reachable via WeChat and helped us with every request we had. We also really appreciated the complimentary airport pick-up and drop-off service.
In addition, the team provided us with great information about local activities and even helped us find Muslim-friendly restaurants in the area, which made our stay much easier and more enjoyable.
Overall, we are extremely satisfied and very thankful for the excellent service and the wonderful stay. Highly recommended!
XXiaodianziyouhaodianziHotels are so competitive these days! This four-star hotel's bedding, room size, and facilities are on par with five-star establishments. We stayed in a family room with our child, and the two 1.5-meter beds were perfect. The hotel even proactively contacted us beforehand to arrange a bed rail, which was a nice touch.
Parking within the resort is convenient, and the surrounding transportation is excellent. It's very close to various attractions whether you're driving or using an electric scooter, yet it's still quiet.
The hotel's pool and gym are open to the public, featuring a standard 50-meter pool, a children's play pool, and fantastic parent-child shower rooms. They also offer complimentary breakfast, afternoon tea, lunch, and late-night snacks, so there's always food available. While the variety isn't huge, it's very thoughtful. Plus, there are massage chairs, a Republic of China-style photo corner, mahjong, billiards, and a laundry room – all incredibly comprehensive facilities, and they're all free! The value for money here is truly outstanding. If you're on the fence, you should definitely consider it. We had a very comfortable two-night stay.
The staff, including the concierge and housekeeping, were all very enthusiastic and professional.
GGuest UserThe room was pretty good, with a nice view overlooking the old town. The hotel also has direct access to a viewing platform, which offers amazing views! There are a lot of steps in the old town, but the staff were really helpful and carried our luggage for us. Breakfast was also quite good, though we only managed to wake up early enough to have it once.
