A Hotel that is recovering from the bad snowy weather. Rooms are big but toilet is tiny. The toilet bidet is bigger than the actual toilet bowl. Also the taps in toilet need upgrading to mixer. Buffet Dinner is good. Sashimi is basic salmon mainly. Buffet should not be a fixed menu everyday! For visitors staying longer, this is uninteresting. When I visited from 7-10 April, the outdoor Onsen was MOST UNFORTUNATELY not working!
Located on the shores of Lake Towada, the scenery is beautiful and quiet, with red maples everywhere.
Stayed for one night on November 13th and enjoyed the open-air bath. The next morning we watched the sunrise by the lake. Also go to Oirase River.
Disadvantages: The sound insulation of the room is poor, and someone was singing in the corridor that day.
The small refrigerator in the room would make noise repeatedly in the middle of the night.
One of the best hotels I've ever stayed in my life (35+ years' travel life). All was perfect and I will recommend confidently this hotel to those who I know and plan to trip to Akita. Personally I decided to stay the hotels in Japan JR East is running and available in the places I plan to travel. Otsukaresamadesita to all that are working there.
The hotel environment is quiet, there are not many rooms, the flow of people is relatively small, the place is clean, the waiter is kind, the Japanese-style 4-person room space is enough, you can put four boxes, the outdoor hot spring landscape is very beautiful, the washing room is complete, the breakfast and dinner food is rich and delicious, after eating Japanese breakfast, Free coffee can also be consumed in the lobby cafe, the accommodation fee is reasonable, and other friends will be introduced to stay
Service - the service was one of the best and most hospitable in Japan I've come across
Location - it is just located 5mins' walk from the Yuze Onsen JR station (though it is a local line with not very frequent trains - about 3-4 a day). yet they have a shuttle service to cover that 2 mins drive!
Dinner - the food was well presented and delicious.
onsen - There are 2 onsens, one indoors and one outdoors in the snow. they were comfortable (although they did not have a fantastic view, but it does its job). temperature was right and wea almost had all of it to ourselves.
The location is very convenient, right next to JR Akita Station, close to the city’s tourist attractions. It‘s great that the hotel has a gym, and the restaurant on the top floor also has local characteristics, good service, and delicious food. But for some reason, the door of my room could not be closed normally, which made me very confused.
There was a place where you can see Namahage live near the hotel , the sound of the drums echoed , the power ‼️ Breakfast, Dinner It was delicious 😅❗️
The hotel is on the mountainside and Nipple Hot Spring is on the mountain. It is best to travel by car. There are few buses. It is best to check the bus time! The hot spring hotel is relatively old-fashioned, and the rooms are very big. Most Japanese people live there, but few foreigners! But there are Chinese students doing part-time! There is a Guanyin Bodhisattva in the hotel isolation, and it only takes about 5 minutes to walk there! The hotel's dinner and breakfast are both buffets, and the food is mediocre, not much surprise! There is Aeon supermarket only at the bottom of the mountain, so it is best to go to the left supermarket before entering the hotel before going up the mountain!
The room is nice, the bed is comfortable, the facilities are relatively modern in this deep forest, breakfast and dinner are buffet, with a wide variety, good taste, and fresh ingredients.
I booked two nights through Trip.com to see my family. I was very satisfied with the hotel and the excellent service.
The location was convenient for going out, but there was a 7-Eleven on the first floor, so I didn't have to go out in the cold at night and could relax in my room.
The breakfast was amazing, full of Akita flavors. It was also great that I could get takeout coffee. I was able to relax with my coffee until check-out.
There is only one drawback. The nightwear was a bathrobe type rather than pajamas, so it was cold from the knees down. I hope I'll wear pajamas next time I stay here.

AAnonymous UserStaff service is excellent.
Management pays attention to many detailed needs of guests.
Great food variety, and many local foods are presented. Foods are delicious too.
Onsen is excellent too.

JJoyJoyChiuThe hotel is located by Lake Tazawa. There is a shuttle bus to pick up at Lake Tazawa Station. The hotel staff is very friendly and polite. The room is very clean and the wind and shadow outside the window are beautiful. There is also a family bath, which is very comfortable. Dinner and breakfast are included. Food Very delicious, highly recommended.
