Apartment was very clean when we check in. Realised previous occupant’s towels were not cleared in toilet. Beds are v comfortable to sleep in. Location is gd, just that every where you go have to grab as it’s not within walking distance.

A Fantastic Stay in Prai! We had a wonderful experience at Citadines Prai Penang. The room was clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kitchenette and washing machine were especially useful for our family trip. Staff were friendly, attentive, and always ready to help. The location is great—convenient for both leisure and business. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the area!

Picked this hotel cause it is located along the New Lane Street Foodstalls. Zim Sum restaurant, Dking Penang, No. 5 CKT & the famous Sister Yao's Char Koay Kak just within walking distance. Check-in after 3pm. You may drop your luggage bag at the concierge. Check-in at the kiosk requires assistance from the hotel staff as different booking numbers were assigned. You need to insert your nric, get your face captured & make RM6 pymt (TnGo/CC) before the room card issue. I appreciate the hotel staff, Mr Hasan, for assisting me to get my room card as my room is not yet ready at 2.55pm. There's a travel kiosk located inside the hotel if you need a day trip or car to the airport. There's 3 lifts in the hotel that require room card to access. The room & the restroom are spacious & clean. I was given a connecting room. Luckily, no one stayed next door. The shower room water pressure is strong. It's a traditional toilet bowl with a bidet hose on the wall. The bed is a bit uncomfortable as i can almost feel the mattress spring. 2 medium-firm pillows for each bed. The blanket is a bit short as it reaches my chest only (165cm height). Basic amenities at the coffee table & toiletries are provided. Additional will be the iron & ironing board inside the cabinet. TV has local, overseas & youtube channels. The remote control is hard to use. The volume is set very low. Need subtitles or lip reading if you rest at the bed. Overall, it's a comfortable 2 night stay as i visited on normal days. No crowds and everything is smooth. Check-in & checkout during peak or festival season might take longer due to the hotel procedures.

This hotel is pretty new, comfortable, clean, spacious and located in the heart of the city. The front officer, Sazzu is very hospitable and friendly. The housekeeping, a Nepal guy is friendly and hardworking to keep the room clean. Next to the hotel is one of the famous biscuits shop in Penang. However, the better biscuits is ”Him Heang” which is not far away from hotel too. Within walking distance you can get to many eateries, convenience shops and cafes. If you can walk, it's easy to walk around the city to enjoy Penang. Else, it is very easy to take a Grab to tour the city with reasonable fare. It is an enjoyable stay for me and I will come back again.

The check-in process was very slow despite the friendliness and service from the receptionist who was very polite and kind. The room was very comfortable, spacious and clean. The food choices at breakfast were quite limited but worth it. And again, the service of the staff here was top-notch and very good, so well done and thank you to the hotel team for that.

Perfect stay! The place was cozy, sooooo clean and easy access. The parking also near only 1-minute walking to lift lobby. The view was so nice 🥰 Have swimming pool at level 9. And the location is so strategic near delicious nasi kandar Sulaiman🤩👍🏻 Thank you!

Nice location. 2 parking spaces given which is very good and nicely located near the elevator. Only complaint is the time waiting for the elevator. Too many guest/patrons probably. Worse during checkout time. Other than that apartment was spacious and clean. Very happy with it.

We stayed at JEN Penang Georgetown by Shangri-La on June 28th for a short vacation, and it was a fantastic experience from start to finish. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable for two adults and our infant. Perfect for a family stay. The staff were friendly and attentive, making us feel welcome throughout. A special highlight was when my wife surprised me with a cake arranged through the hotel, it was a thoughtful touch that made the stay even more memorable. The hotel handled it beautifully, adding a personal and warm touch to our visit. The location is excellent, especially for those who enjoy shopping. A mall is just steps away, and it's easy to get around Georgetown from the hotel. Highly recommended for anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and top-notch service with a personal touch.

Enjoy our stay at Mercure. It was truly valuable for money. The rooms were well renovated and spacious. However, there were minor spots where the cleaners could've missed, and the children's room might need some renovation to make it more welcoming. Will definitely come again.
