4-Star Hotels in Penang, Malaysia

Regarding the facilities, I need to pay by my own self for the car parking service. They are charging RM 24 per day and I am staying for 4 days 3 nights. Do you think how much I need to pay for the car parking which they never stated that visitors or customers need to paying by ourselves. I hope that in the future, please stated very clearly that we need to paying by ourselves without inform us.

Near to main tourist areas like Kimberly street and excellent eateries etc, within walking distance. Take advantage of the free CAT shuttle bus around the George Town from back of hotel. The hotel staff is very friendly and knowledgeable, provided quick information

Had a really pleasant stay at Georgetown Urban Suite. The unit was clean, spacious and comfortable, and everything was well maintained. The bed was comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped with the necessary facilities. The overall environment was cosy and relaxing, making it a great place to stay after a long day exploring Penang. The location was also convenient and easy to get around from. Overall, it was a comfortable and enjoyable stay, and I would definitely recommend this place to others!

We had a great stay here! The bed was so comfy, and I really appreciated the extra pillows. Slept like a baby until morning! The room was surprisingly spacious, which was perfect for our tamily and all our luggage. There was plenty of space to repack our bags and even perform prayers comfortably. I also loved the modern interior and the warm lighting in the room. The hotel also provides two complimentary drinks, and you can choose between orange juice, coffee, or tea. The ambience was lovely, and we really enjoyed the swimming pool. Free parking for hotel guests is definitely a bonus.

Before going, I was worried about noise isolation at night, especially about the sound of motorcycles. However, I stayed on the 7th floor and didn't hear a thing. The room was very clean and well-arranged. I booked a suite, which was essentially two independent rooms with an interconnecting door. The bedding was very comfortable, and the rooftop pool offered a great view. The hotel is close to many attractions. Yong Pin Tea Cafe, Toh Soon Cafe, and The Founders (recommended by Jay Chou) are all within a 5-minute walk. You can also rent motorcycles in the city if you have a motorcycle license. My husband rented one and said it rode very smoothly. I'll definitely stay at OZO George Town Penang again next time I visit George Town, Penang! Highly recommend!

Everything was good overall. Clear check-in instructions and important guidelines were given before arrival. The room is spacious and clean. The only downside was that the location was a little far from the busy area, but it’s also very easy to get around Penang by Grab.

The hotel has two buildings, A and B. It's very convenient to find your room as a bellboy will guide you, and we really appreciate them helping us with our luggage. Disposable toothbrushes and combs are not provided directly in the room; you need to ask for them at the front desk. Remember to get them when you check in if you need them. There's a water dispenser in the hallway with hot and cold water. There's a swimming pool on the 4th floor of Building B. I stayed on a weekday, so there weren't many people during the day, and the water was quite clear. There's also another Citadines nearby, so make sure your navigation doesn't lead you to the wrong one. The hotel entrance is not on a main road, so there isn't much traffic, and it's a one-way street. It's quite convenient for getting a taxi or getting in and out of cars. I passed by the other one, and it seemed a bit noisy being on a main road. The room can be a bit narrow; if you open two 20-inch suitcases at the same time, they noticeably block the way. It's very close to food places and attractions. The second picture is a breakfast coffee shop highly recommended by many on Xiaohongshu (Little Red Book), and the third picture is also a Xiaohongshu recommendation: duck noodle soup from a market (this market seems to have a seating fee, vendors selling main dishes don't have tables, only those selling coffee or drinks do). Aside from the room being a bit small, overall, the stay was very comfortable, and I would still highly recommend it.

Had a pleasant stay at M Social Hotel Tanjung Bungah. The rooms are newly refurbished, spacious, clean and comfortable. The hotel was previously known as Copthorne, but it has now been refurbished, so everything feels fresh and new. We requested a baby cot, and the hotel provided it free of charge, which was really appreciated. Another nice touch is the water dispenser located outside the room, where guests can refill their water bottles as much as needed. The overall ambience is nice and the stay was comfortable. The only downside for me was that the breakfast spread was a little limited in terms of variety. Overall, a very pleasant stay and I’d definitely consider coming back.

I stayed for three nights. The room decor was new, and the location near George Town made city walks quite convenient. I could see the sea from the window. The lobby manager was very nice, and the doorman was also polite. However, the bedding was quite subpar; the sheets were rough, and the pillows were too flat. Even after changing to a firm pillow, I still woke up with a stiff neck. The mattress was too hard, genuinely uncomfortable. The water pressure in the shower was unstable, the water flow was too weak, and it kept switching between hot and cold, which even made me catch a cold.

Great location! There's a Japanese restaurant next door, a mini-mart in the lobby, and the Anson Road Morning Market is just a short walk across the street. There's even a good fried dough stick stall inside the market. The room and bathroom were very clean, pretty much exactly as pictured when booking. This unit can accommodate 4 people. The host/manager gets extra points for thoughtfully installing an LG water filter, which was really convenient as we didn't need to buy bottled water. Furthermore, I requested a room away from the elevator, and they accommodated that. The soundproofing was also good, so it wasn't noisy. The only minor downsides were that getting to the parking spot was a bit tricky and there was a parking fee, but thankfully it wasn't expensive.
