Regarding the facilities, I need to pay by my own self for the car parking service. They are charging RM 24 per day and I am staying for 4 days 3 nights. Do you think how much I need to pay for the car parking which they never stated that visitors or customers need to paying by ourselves. I hope that in the future, please stated very clearly that we need to paying by ourselves without inform us.

After much thought, I still believe that a well-established five-star hotel is the most reliable choice. This Jen hotel is incredibly close to all the attractions, and you can even walk to the street art murals. There's a decent-sized shopping mall nearby, along with a supermarket and Starbucks. Although the hotel facilities are a bit dated, the service is still excellent. The breakfast, in particular, offers a great variety, including freshly stir-fried kway teow and freshly cooked noodle soup. I'd definitely choose this hotel again next time I visit Penang!

Guest UserThe hotel's location is fantastic! Right outside, there's a night market with the famous Stir-fried Kway Teow Grandpa's stall, which always has a queue. It's also super close to other attractions. They have a gym and a swimming pool. We didn't book breakfast, so we just grabbed a bite at a place right outside the hotel.

I was a bit hesitant after seeing the reviews, but I booked this hotel for convenience, and my stay was surprisingly great with no complaints.
First off, check-in was seamless, the room was clean, and the facilities were quite new. Housekeeping was excellent every day; if I requested cleaning before leaving, the room was usually spotless when I returned. One afternoon, I overslept and missed housekeeping, but the next morning, a staff member from housekeeping came to ask if I wanted my room cleaned. 😄
Regarding transport and food, there aren't many dining options directly around the hotel, but getting around Malaysia relies heavily on ride-sharing, so I wasn't worried about transportation or food inconvenience at all. Plus, food delivery is quite convenient; if you don't want to go out or eat at the hotel, delivery usually arrives within half an hour.
The gym and yoga room aren't huge, but they're perfectly adequate, and the equipment is new. I went every day and rarely encountered anyone else there.

Walter Zhou-zhouyipingOn a business trip to Penang, I'd stayed here before and chose this hotel again. The location is excellent, about a 30-minute drive from Penang International Airport. There are plenty of restaurants, supermarkets, and shopping malls nearby, and it's not far from the Street Art area. The front desk is on the 20th floor; the staff are friendly, and there's a comfortable business and lounge area. The room amenities are comprehensive and clean. This time, I noticed they added a water dispenser, which is eco-friendly and convenient for guests from different countries, offering warm, hot, and iced water. Breakfast on the 21st floor isn't extensive but decent. There's also a good cafe right opposite the hotel with nice breakfast options. Overall, a great experience. I'll choose this hotel again next time.

Guest UserThe place it self was great, the cleanliness was very good and the service was excellent. The only downside we had was the neighbours upstairs kept making loud noises through out our stay, however credit to the agents they replied back to us promptly when we brought this up and had notified their landlord. Unfortunately this didn’t still resolve the loud noises.
The building it self is nice, the pool is clean and well maintained, however the building does have a lot of regulations in place which we thought was quite excessive. Other than these minor issues we had a great time and the apartment is well kept.

Guest UserThe staff were friendly, polite, and generally helpful throughout our stay. The location is also a strong point, with plenty of restaurants and shopping malls nearby, and the Clan Jetties are within walking distance.
Unfortunately, the check-in experience left much to be desired.
Before arriving, I had emailed the hotel to enquire about an early check-in as we were travelling with elderly family members. I fully understood that this might not be possible due to the peak holiday season, which was perfectly reasonable.
Upon arriving around 11am, we were advised to return after 1pm. We came back shortly after 2pm but were informed that our rooms were still not ready. We were prepared to wait until the official check-in time of 3pm, but even then, the rooms were unavailable. We were repeatedly told ”10 more minutes”, only for those 10 minutes to become 30 minutes and then even longer. In the end, we did not receive our rooms until approximately 3:40pm.
What made the situation particularly frustrating was seeing guests who arrived after us being checked in ahead of us. The explanation given was that a supervisor needed to inspect the rooms before they could be released. While delays can happen, clearer communication and realistic timelines would have been far more appreciated than being repeatedly asked to wait another 10 minutes.
To make matters worse, one of our rooms had pillows and blankets with an unpleasant odour, which raised questions about the room readiness that had caused such a lengthy delay.
For guests driving, parking may be challenging as there are only a limited number of parallel parking spaces available. Even for those arriving by taxi or private hire, the drop-off and pick-up process can be somewhat inconvenient.
There is also a Heritage Fee payable upon check-in, which was acceptable and clearly communicated. Complimentary coffee and biscuits are available, and water dispensers are conveniently located near the lifts, although bottled water is not provided in the rooms.
The check-out process was also slightly unusual, as guests are required to wait for staff confirmation before leaving.
Overall, the stay was comfortable and the location was convenient. However, I value hotels that provide a smooth and efficient check-in experience. Delays are understandable, especially during busy periods, but guests deserve honest communication and accurate updates rather than repeated promises of ”10 more minutes.” With better management of the arrival experience, this would have been a much more enjoyable stay.

wanderlust07I really enjoyed my stayed here at M Social. The room is spacious and clean with a balcony. The TV is very big.
The private beach is very beautiful and nice as well. The pool is okay, quite small for me but have a live band performance there on Friday evening, which is a good activity to do.
Breakfast is okay with quite many varieties. I love the noodle soup.
The staff are professional, just a bit that can improve is that some of them can be more friendly and put a smile on when being with guests. The housekeeping staff is the exception very friendly and always smile, thumbs up to them.
There is a foodcourt in the opposite side of the hotel with cheap price. More choices for food. Besides that nothing much around.
Strongly recommend this hotel!

Anonymous UserI had a really pleasant stay at this new hotel. The location is very convenient, and I was impressed by their high-tech automated parking system. It was a unique and interesting experience to use such an advanced parking facility.
The staff were very friendly and welcoming throughout my stay. The room was clean, comfortable, and well maintained.
One thing I really want to highlight is the shower water pressure. Whenever I stay at a hotel, one of the first things I look for is whether the shower water is strong enough. Many hotels I have stayed at have weak water pressure, but this hotel really surprised me. The water flow was powerful and comfortable, making the shower experience very enjoyable.
Overall, this is one of the most comfortable hotel stays I’ve had. The modern facilities, friendly service, and excellent shower experience made my stay memorable. I would definitely come back again and highly recommend this hotel.

ilonka-zExcellent hotel location. The fully equipped kitchen, ironing board with iron, and hairdryer are all available. If you need anything, you can contact staff via WhatsApp, and it will be delivered quickly. The room was clean and spacious. Nice pool and jacuzzi, plus a well-equipped gym. Upon check-in, we were asked for a 200 RM refundable deposit, but only in cash. We had a pleasant stay.
