LLB1170The hotel service is very bad. Takes so long just check in when I was the only one checking in at that time. It was at 1 am checked in. They gave me a room in which someone is already inside the room. So they apologize and gave me free upgrade to suite room. Finally can get a room at almost 3am. It was very sucks.
GGuest UserFor being such an expensive high end hotel I did expect things to be cleaner in the hotel room. You could see the basic easy perimeter of cleaning in the bathroom especially. There were some stains on the bedding as well that instantly gave my face a look. Arrived on a Friday evening and checked out for a late departure and no one was ever in our room to restock so we had to call and ask for more towels which wasn’t that big of a deal we just had a lot of garbage in our room from the weekend and a mound of dirty towels. It was an extremely busy weekend there as we were there for volleyball tournament and everything was pretty much booked up! I think the “resort fees” were really unnecessary as we didn’t even get to do much and my kids just all walked around and people watched and paying $1000 just for the regular hotel price is enough. It was a stay to play event so we had no other options in staying elsewhere. Restaurants inside were mediocre and outrageously expensive!! I just felt like it was a money pit and that’s the only intention it had. We were on the 15th floor and did get a great view of the sunrise/sunset right around the corner from our hotel door and I think that was the only thing we actually enjoyed there.
AAnonymous UserIt's about 20 minutes drive to Manhattan. There are no places to eat nearby. Some Korean food is OK. Parking is convenient. If you have a car, it is recommended to stay here. There is no need to live in New York City. It is also safer.
AAnonymous UserThe front desk staff were very helpful and enthusiastically answered all my questions. The decor and rooms are spotless. This is my third time staying at this hotel. It's convenient for getting to Manhattan, as you can take the airport train or a direct bus. The price is also very reasonable.
SSihaiweijia56Most hotels pick up guests from P4 via shuttle, but the Marriott offers shuttle service from Terminals A, B, and C, as well as P4. The hotel email conveniently includes a link to track the shuttle's real-time location. For breakfast, there's a à la carte menu with a spending limit of just over 40 RMB; anything beyond that needs to be paid. We ordered the 40 RMB set meal, and even with the tip, we stayed within the limit.
GGuest UserFirst time staying in New Jersey, great location opposite ferry terminal however noisy. The best thing was the view over the city, great sunrise and watching lights go, even watched fireworks 2 nights. Second best thing was good size room, big bed and sofa.
Sadly the bathroom had shower over tub very poor water flow, tub not deeper enough, asked reception if we could change room as staying 7 nights need separate shower and bath was told would not get any view, I asked if could see room so I could make sure shower better than one had was told NO.
Other disappointing things - light switch on wall when enter not work, had to go round turning lamps on individually also next to bed no control switch had to turn on quite tricky, also no plugs or charging next to bed had to charge phone across room. Decor very dated, no fridge, safe worked well. The slamming of doors was awful, also walls very thin.
Best place to eat just a short walk to the chart restaurant, amazing views, staff, food and drinks. Also So Thai very good. The whole food supermarket has everything you need except wine.
AAmerican Dude in ChinaThis is a well located, reasonably priced property. A big shout out to the bartender and the breakfast staff. They went out of their way to make me feel at home. Also, this is a large hotel and might be challenging for anyone with mobility issues. Interestingly, from the main lobby, it’s quite a walk to the nearest elevator. I do think they need to streamline the check in. They were training a new employee, which I have no issue with. There was one employee being trained and two others showing him what to do. When I arrived, there were more than twenty people in line. That was the only check in option. We all waited (patiently!) while each person was checked in at a snail’s pace. There was no “bear with us” or $5 off a drink for the extra wait. This falls far short of the Hilton brand as I know it.
IIce tangVery comfortable and spacious room with a view of the Hudson River, directly facing Manhattan's charming city skyline. The PATH station is right outside the hotel, and it's just one stop to the World Trade Center. Much better value for money than staying in Manhattan. I'd definitely choose to stay here again next time I visit New York.
